Weight Loss Help, I need a scale that works! May 19 2008

I have a scale that I really like it's a health meter brand that I got from Wal-mart ... it was about $40.  (At the time I needed a scale that would weigh up to 400 lbs. )  It doesn't give different readings and is digital so it weighs to the oz. it also gives body fat readings and hydration levels

I do have a suggestion that you pick a scale you plan to weigh on and stick to that one only. Every scale will read different.  ( my parents scale weighs low compared to mine and my Drs. scale weighs high )

good luck..!

Air popped popcorn with Can't believe it's not butter spray  Yum...

If you like something with a bit more flavor try "kernel seasonings" brand popcorn seasoning... It comes in a ton of diff. flavors...

I also like to use the Caramel flavor on sliced apples...

Yea... I usually just log the same amount of calories as if I had eaten it all myself...

Like I said, She is a good friend... But I do have issues with her, esp. over weight loss... She motivated me to get going on having a healthy diet and exercising more, But sometimes she is overbearing... now that she has lost the weight she acts like she is queen bee sometimes... Not to say I am not proud of her, But she sometimes acts like she is the only one out there who has done that.

We could all lose weight like that if we were single with no kids and Had a personal trainer we went to FOUR times a week.

Just a little venting here  - Hell I know I am jealous, but I just can't help it...!

I own the book... read part of it and skimmed the rest... it was of no value to me what-so-ever !!! One book I do happen to like that I just bought was The hungry girl book - it's mainly recipes and such but also different ideas on eating... it has gotten some bad reviews by  CC members for promoting processed foods, But I like and recommend it...

I prefer Round Table pizza over all else. But if I'm going to be a bit healthier and eat in, Amy's makes a really good frozen Pizza that is decent, calorie-wise. I think there're 900 cals in the whole pizza... whereas I could easily eat 900 cals in 3 slices of one take-out pizza.

My downfall isn't so much the pizza. It's the ranch dressing I have to dip it in. Ranch is to pizza as ketchup is to fries. ;)

Oh yes I agree with the ranch... yummmmmmmmm...  I usually justify my ranch consumption by having a side salad ... Wink

I know I shouldn't be so picky about drinking tap water, esp with living on the shore of the biggest freshwater lake in the world... I am hoping I can wean myself off the artificial sweeteners during the summer when I tend to drink more water overall.

Thanks for the quick responses...!!! Laughing
