| Calorie Count | Question about deleting an account | Feb 03 2008 15:32 (UTC) |

Is there anything else to include other than the account ID (which I thought was my name) and the mail it's been registered with? I guess the weekend isn't a very good time to send such a request, but just making sure I didn't miss anything. Please excuse me for my impatience.

I have Polar CS100, since I don't need more. It calculates distance, speed, calories burned... It has a HRM and a speedometer and I sometimes wear it for other activities. Though it can't record the distance I run, it's still handy for monitoring my HBR and time. I just put it in a pocket near my heart since I originally "wear" it on my bike handle-bar. |

Original Post by nvrmndtheb: Those are awesome! They're my regular breakfast on college. I can munch on them for ages, they have no sugar added and are packed with vitamins. And their taste is simply yummy. People would make fun of me for that, but who cares! I find this a way better snack than 3-days-old pre-packed sandwiches from the vending machine they eat. I also like that they come in glass containers, which I recycle :) |

| I mix up stretching exercises with yoga at home. Footbag (learning tricks) helped improve my flexibility and balance years back. I also stretch every pause at college (it looks weird, but it feels great) and then at home at least once a day for about 30 minutes, plus before and after any exercise. | |||

I also don't like people liking my looks, except for my boyfriend. For some odd reason I was never comfortable flirting and all my relationships and one-night-stands were either a really fast decision without any romantic overture or evolved from a friendship. I can't stand if someone is trying to dance with me and avoid all possible situations where other people would flirt (I must look so boring!). Should someone I know start to show signs of wishing to be more than just friends with me, I tend to start avoiding them.. My boyfriend always tells me if someone's hitting on me, but I don't even really see that. I just think they're talking to me because they need advice or stare at me because I'm wearing mismatched clothes or whatever. But my boyfriend says he knows what they really want, since he's a man, haha :) He also claims that by the time I notice someone is flirting with me, they must already be madly in love with me (that's from his personal experience :)). On the other hand I can't just go around and talk about my bf all the time to show people (of whom 99% I think don't find me anything special anyway) that I'm already taken. And the important thing is how I see my body, not everyone else. I know I want better abs and that my boobs will probably be A cup then and that my boyfriend would prefer me to stay the way I am, but it's about how I feel because of myself, not anyone else. |

Did the blood tests include blood coagulation tests? Or perhaps you're lacking vitamin K? The doctors discovered this at me by accident and my case is hereditary (missing a blood factor, similar as with haemophilia). I'm also very active and always covered in bruises. I also get regular nose bleeds, sometimes in my sleep, other times in class or on my bike. Do you experience those as well? Do you ever bleed from your gums? Would you say you bleed longer than others if you accidentaly cut yourself? |

- meat - eggs - celery - cauliflower (love broccoli, though) - mayonnaise - french salad - brussels sprouts - food that is artificially colored with bright colors you know aren't natural (pink, green, blue beverages) - big shrimp tails - the oily brown sauce in chinese food in restaurants here (it's like soy sauce with the viscosity of an egg-white) - jelly - coconut and mango in asian food When I was in elementary school, I spent a lot of time at a friend's house where they used a coconut toilet refresher. Ever since I associate coconut with faeces and almost become sick if I smell the exactly same smell. |

I don't like gyms at all, the air, bacteria, sweat of so many unknown people... brr. I like exercising alone, except my bike trips into the unknown. I cycle daily and run almost every day and when the weather permits it, I go hiking, play badminton outside, rollerskate and kick hacky-sack. I hate the awful air we have in my city in the winter, though. Thick fog all the time and all the city pollution are terrible. I normally run across some field at the brink of the city where are no cars, but the air is still bad since my city is located in a hollow |

I don't really care if someone eats meat or not (my boyfriend does, for example). But the mass-production of excessive amounts of livestock that doesn't even all get eaten is wrong. It just follows the popular trend that there always has to be more than we actually need. And those, who defend the opinion that global warming is natural and good, I'm sure you'd speak otherwise when natural disasters as a consequence of climate changes would wipe away your hometown. I hope I don't sound rude, but English isn't my native language. |

Original Post by bpisciot: I'm one of those people. I hate cars and I dislike our public transport. I use a city bike to get around the town (the old one even had a basket, very handy) and a mountain bike for pleasure trips into the nature. If you take the morning/afternoon traffic into account, I actually get to college faster than I would with public transport and faster than even with a car since you can't really park in the city or it's ridiculously expensive. I always hated gyms, they give me the impression of a fungus and bacteria-filled cans full of sweaty people.. Didn't mean to offend anyone, sorry, but I'm almost scared of them. That's why I either do exercise at home (yoga, karate, hulla hoop, stepper, weights, rope jumping) or jog, ride my bike or play footbag. I alternate these as I feel. I like home exercising because it's inexpensive and you can do it any time of the day without having to get through traffic to the gym and back. Footbag is a really fun sport. You get your whole body moving and you can do it in company or alone, working on all sorts of tricks. You also basically have no expenses with it. I started running a few months ago, knowing I won't be able to ride bike in the nature when the days are so short, but I can always run in the evening. Some energic music does it and I always take a different path so I don't become bored too easily. |

| I could call my diet consisting of snacks - provided a meal is defined by containing more than just one sort of food. But I simply have a slice of tofu and 40 minutes later I'm chewing on some vegetables and 20 minutes from then on I'm munching on almonds.. It's just so much easier for me to wash just one plate and not cook anything complicated (I really dislike cooking! I don't cook vegetables at all, I just heat them It's just a bit annoying to have to wash my teeth so much. |

| The Lounge | at what age did you begin to feel old? | Dec 30 2007 15:32 (UTC) |
36 |
I felt old when I stopped going to techno parties and then went once when I was 20 and everyone was 15. (I'm 21 now and I was 15 when I started to go to techno parties a lot). But normally.. I still feel 15. Irresponsible and still don't have my life-plans sorted out.. And I look more like 16, too (but I've looked 16 ever since I was 13, hehe). If I'll look (and feel) 25 when I'll actually be 40, that will be great! |

| Weight Loss | How is everyone doing with holiday gain? | Dec 30 2007 15:05 (UTC) |

I gained about 4 pounds in the last 2 weeks, or so the scale tells me. I had a cold and almost didn't move for a week, ew. When I calculated, how much I ate daily, I felt pretty bad, so stopped logging it. Now I added it for previous days and it's not even much. So I'm guessing it's all just water weight |
