Thanks again everyone for your responses! My mother has made my appointment for April 30th with my family Doc. Hes been my doc since i was a little girl, we think he can refer me, or send me in the right direction. Im really freaking out about the appointment, terrified, not wanting to go. But this is my only chance to get better, im not changing on my own. So i thank you all again, and i will keep you posted.

There are days i wanna beat this damn thing up and throw it away, and then it seems like the next day i cant dare to battle it. This is my life though and i deserve the best for me!

Wow! Im so overwhelmed with all the support here! Thank you everyone! So i guess the definite answer im getting is that i do need to seek professional help for this. Last night while my hubby and i were at the basketball game i just started thinking those positive thoughts like i want to stop this, i wanna change, my body cant take it anymore. but then the bad voices come in saying oh you look great, lose 5 more pounds and you'll look amazing, and then we can stop. But i cant listen to him anymore. I want my life back.

SO do i research an eating disorder specialist? I thought id have to go through my regular family doctor first to be diagnosed?

Were a lot of you like me? Like you had those good voices that would tell u " lets get better" and then you have bad ones that tell you "no!"

Im terrified of upping my cals. i know a lot of you keep saying i should, but im so scared to. I know if i do ill gain. IDK its so tough. Thank you everyone for all your quick responses it really does mean a lot!

Thank you all so much for your quick responces! It really means a lot. So would you all suggest I go see a doctor? or should I just wait it out a little and maybe my thoughts will get better? Thats where i think the ED is tricking me, telling me im fine and i dont need to see a doctor. That a doctor will think im fine.

Im so scared of upping my cals. I dont want to see the numbers on the scale go up. I want them to go down. I keep saying once i hit 100 ill quit but ive been saying that since 118. I hate this, I really do. I want this stupid thing out of my life, I wish i would have never gotten in this deep. Im scared

Rainbow - Thank you for the quick responce. The thing is, Ill get in these momments, moods where im like ok thats it i cant take this anymore, i need to change, this is unhealthy, and ill tell myself ill change tomorrow or ill try next week and I never do. Im terrified to up my cals anymore bc im scared of gaining. Thats where the negative voices take over.

Thats what my husband keeps telling me he says " you always say your going to try, your going to change, but when? you never do?" and hes right. Thats why i think i need to see a doctor to give me a push.

I bought a book called: Life Without ED and it was great, but not inspirational enough??

Ive been counting grapes as 1/2 cup = 50 cals. 1 cup = 100 cals. Ive been doing this for about 8 months

I weigh myself 3 times in 10 min in the a.m. Just to make sure i get the right number. Sometimes after i work out saturday a.m i weigh myself again just to see the diff. I weigh every day. I cant imagine only weighing in once a week. I would do the same thing if my hubby did that. lol. Its just the fear we have of consuming those bad cals.

My mother works for Disney so we go for free all the time. I always bring 100 cal packs, or kashi bars. I always order off the kids menus - chicken salad with grapes - carrots. They have a fruit stand at MGM studios. and at some of those little carts with ice cream they actually have veggies with ranch dip and pickles. Oh and they also have sugar free candy. you just have to look. But deff. bring your own snacks into the park. You'll save a lot of $$$ too!

Moke2 I almost feel like Im reading my own story. I dont have any children, but I am married and I feel exactly the same as you. Im trying to understand my problem myself, Im still trying to open up more to my husband about it, then hopefully he will push me to go to the doctor. He knows this is a problem but we try to avoid talking about it. But u and i both need to talk to our family and seek medical help. We've developed this terrible disease thats not just going to go away. Its going to take time and understanding that a doctor can provide. I wish you nothing but the best, and dont feel alone Im right there with ya.

KUKK i was wondering the same thing today. I dont eat more than one a day. Only in the a.m for breakfast. but ive always wondered if it would be bad to eat more than one and if its bad to eat one late in the day??

WRM & JEN thanks for the quick replys. Im going to run the path i usually run 2xs. The second time maybe slow it down a lil if i feel exerted. When i run i push myself pretty hard i think. Im thinkin 3mph??? Thanks again everyone. Last question - so would you think that what im doing is considered a decent workout for the days i dont jazz. I also do crunches and core workouts for about 30 mins everyday on top of all this. Is the running good from your point of view? Or just a meesely work out?

OMG! i didnt think that was that fast lol i guess it is lol. I guess what im aiming for is a decent workout for the days i dont have jazz. I want to make sure 1.5-2 miles is concidered a descent workout. I feel great after i run, yes im breathing pretty hard - I feel good but then i look at the clock and realize god i only worked out for 13mins?? I guess i could try doing another lap around with a mix of running and walking? Do u think thats a descent work out??

How many cals would u say im burning running the 1.5 miles in 13min?? I plugged it once and it said like 143 cals is that right???

Gosh Im so relieved to hear all of you feel the same. Its like if we go out to dinner I order a small salad or soup but with all the cals from that i could of had my cereal or oatmeal with fruit and veggies ya know?

Deflepfan I totally hear you. I am realizing this is a problem. We are becoming afraid of foods? Even if they are in our cals for the day we are scared to eat them?Its so frustrating.

TINI I USE to eat the xtra thin veggie from pizza hut bc my hubby would beg for me to eat a pizza with him. that was the only kind i would eat bc it was 170 a slice. I love pizza but now i wont eat it anymore. He asked if we could order pizza the other night and i said no bc i just cant stop thinkin its a bad food. I use to eat it why not anymore?? I hate this. If you ever do treat yourself to somethingone day let me know!

Im trying to stop myself but i cant get over my obsession with food cals. I hope when i hit 115 I stop. Like most of you say what diff will it make? Idk hopefully my mindset will change by then.

Its becoming too much ya know? Like I wish when i wake up one morning and my hubby wants to go out for breakfast that i could be like ok lets go! but I always go and look up the cals on the pc and if theres nothing healthy/ in my cals I tell him no lets just stay home and i eat my usual. I think I freak if I read something has more than 300 cals too. I automatically put it back??

Im glad to hear im not the only one that thinks this way. Well I stay around 1200 cals. The only time I up them is when I hit a plateu. which seems to have happened a lot lately. I was stuck at 126, then 122, then 118. So i upped to 1300, 1350. It scared me. So when I went up like that one day I would cut back down to 1200 to level it out. The weights coming off so slowly now.

I know the Reeses arnt a lot of cals it just that im scared to eat them. I feel if i do thats bad. That I cheeted. How did u break this habbit?? Should I be concerned or is this how most dieters think?? I just want to be able to eat stuff like I use to sometimes. But i cant!

Thanks for the quick reply. JULES i know hear what your saying. When I started dieting I was at 141 and I was a happier person. My 1st goal was 130, then 125, then 120. I always laughed in craziness that I could reach 118. As of this a.m Im 116.5 and Im still aiming for 115. Like in my bio i hope i stop at that.

Anyways, I guess im being to strict to hard on myself. I feel like if i eat those bad foods i will have failed - lost the battle. Do you feel the same?? Eating those bad foods.

 Anishak how often do u treat yourself?? and to what? I dream of eating reeses pieces cups -  they are my dream lol. My hubby always tells me to grab some but like i said i just freak out. Im eating a bad food.

This is so frustrating - whens it going to stop!!!???

I agree BLM. Today I got so frustrated at my hubby. He was like " oh im going to chick fila" do you want anything Cry I was thinking you s.o.b of course i do but i cant! Then he has the nerve to call me while he's eating it to make sure I didnt need anything from the house!

I always get jelous of him and my friends when we go out and they look at the menu for 2 mins and know what they want. I have to pull out my cal sheets and add up anything i want. Its so hard to sit there and watch people enjot that stuff I wish I could have.

Yes they are sooo good! I ate some at the movie theatre the other night. it's like 400 cals for the whole bag so be careful, but yes they are yummy.

I use to eat oatmeal every night but then switched to plain cheerios. which do u think is better??? I hate cottage cheese. I love nuts so i have to stay away from them or ill eat the whole can lol.

I've been weighing myself everyday forever! Its a bad habbit i guess. I freak out if i dont do it.

I've never even tried a protein shake? So those Kashi and South Beach bars arn't enough protein? Grill chicken sounds good - i too like it cold. Could you suggest a good brand? My hubby bought a pre-packed set once and the whole breast was only 150 cals. i cant remember which brand it was??

Ive heard eating a lot of cals after working out is good, but like i said earlier it just sounds scary eating that much bf bed. Even though I always do about 15 min of crunches, core exercises bf bed.

I feel so much better reading all these post and knowing Im not alone. Its so hard to be around my friends and family anymore when going out to eat, to a theme park, to the movies, anywhere bc food always comes up. I have to paln ahead what am I going to bring so im still eating with them, but then i look crazy bc i bring an apple to snack on.

My husband always begs me and says this year will you eat normal. It makes me so upset we cant go out to eat anywhere new. Only safe places I know the calories counts. Its not fair to him. I feel awful.

I too graze the grocery store for hours looking at food I wish I could eat. Reading the back of everything and leaving with the same foods like last time, never anything new.

I get mad at food like all of you, like i get so pissed when my husband or people around me are eating things I only wish I could eat. How come they can eat all that and not feel one bit of regret? Why cant I? Its not just not fair.

Like I said I have issues with food. I know I should probably be eating more than 1200 cals but Im not as bad as girls with eds. Anyway back to the question I dont know why but i feel like too much protein will make me gain weight? and I want to lose it. U have a protein shake at night?? C that would scare me that in the a.m it would show on the scale. So what about my plateu - how can i get over it again. Seems like i stay at a weight for almost a month, then lose 1 - 2 pounds and get stuck again. I even upped my cals to 1250-1300 then to 1500 one day and saw no change???

Thanks for the fast responce. I dont eat red meat. I eat a South Beach or Kashi protein bar every morning. And for lunch I always try to have something like a turkey sand, chik noodle soup, or a lean pocket. I dont want to eat too much protein. I think the south beach or kashi bars in the a.m are enough???

What are some good protein snacks?? I have food issues I get really down on myself if i go over 1200-1250 cals. Really sad. I keep plateuing in my weight also. You have any clue y??? Or any suggestions???
