| I have to add that the F5 does come with a chest strap. I use it every day, but since I work out at home I have never used it in a gym setting and can not say if there are any problems with interference. | |||

| Individual foil dinners are fun and easy. You place a chicken breast in center of a large piece of foil. Add chopped veggies (onions, potatoes, mushrooms, whatever you like), a few tablespoons of liquid (wine, water or broth) and seasonings. Seal foil securely so liquid doesn't leak out. Place over hot coals and cook, turning occasionally until done, about 20-30 min. | |||

| For a dessert recipe, I make ladyfinger cookies, only I just use a cookie scoop instead of piping the dough like the recipe says. Then I mash some strawberries with a little sugar or splenda and a little almond flavor. I put a spoonful of the berry mixture in a wine glass and then top with a cookie and add more strawberries, another cookie and top with more strawberries and a dollop of vanilla yogurt. It's best if it can sit in the refrigerator for an hour or so to let the cookies absorb the strawberry juice. It's so yummy and pretty too. Here's the link for the cookies and their nutritional info. http://www.recipezaar.com/23346 | |||

| Have you ever tried Cedar Plank Salmon? Growing up in Washington, fresh salmon was readily available. My dad uses this method and cooks over a campfire. But, you could do it on the grill or in the oven. Cedar planks are available most places they have grilling supplies. Soak cedar plank in water for 2 hours(put a weight of some sort to hold under water). Spray or oil plank with a little olive oil. Lay the salmon skin-side down on plank and season. Top with thin slices of lemon and onion. grill over indirect heat until salmon flakes easily with fork. Serve on plank if desired. Sometimes I use a little dijon mustard and brown sugar, equal amounts and rub on salmon before grilling. | |||

| Foods | Freezing dulce de leche? | Jul 27 2008 17:59 (UTC) |

| I know what you mean. While living in Buenos Aires, I discovered dulce de leche. It is so much better than any of the caramel sauces in the store. I make my own using fat-free condensed milk and I like it with apple slices. I have never tried freezing it. I usually only make it when I have company so I won't eat it all! | |||

| I have an F5 I think. Yours may be different. I know what you mean, there are so many directions, it can be confusing. I just played around with mine to figure it out. When I want to start exercising, I push the button under "start" which is under the time display. Then I think I have to push it a second time for it to actually start measuring. When I am done I push stop and it stores the info for me. The up and down buttons on the side display the different readings. | |||
