I drink a glass of water before eating and drink a cup of green tea during the meal ~ .. both no calories and filling remember to always have green in half your plate.. thats fiber ~ it will expand and not digest and make you feel full |

Me too I love food~ once i reached my goal weight .. of 135 and then 132 .. i started eating like no tomorrow~ drinking, and dancing and all that.... but guess what I have gained 10lbs and I am not happy~ im at 142 as of this morning and i feel chunky in my size 8pants~ i even bought size 6 clothes in the summer coming down from a size 16/18~ that said I am finally back on track and im hoping to stay on it and motivated like I did a year ago~ |

Hi !!! I cant believe its almost a year for you..... I just realized yesterday its a year for me too~ This time I am going to take it slow and healthier...its definitely hard to get back on once you fall off and I know deep down I know exactly what i need to do to reach my goal~ ... i have a different motivation now~ Im sooooo happy to still see you here cause i stopped logging and signing in for a while now~ ttys ~ and lets welcome the journey in our second year !!! -Mariam |

I definitely did!!! had regular breakfast, no lunch, two coronas, a bottle of wine a hamburger, tons of chips.... on friday had a bowl of cereal a banana and thai dinner lol plus chicken breast ice cream and cake saturday lol then on sunday i had regular breakfast, a meal from wendy's and chinese food for dinner sooooo in total according to scale i gained 9lbs~ ... they will be gone by midweek... im 140 now~ [= |

I work out 30/40 minutes on thee treadmill 3 times or so a week so its not everyday ... definitely not the morning after I go to a club or hang out w/ friends... so ive let go...a little just recently well for the past two months and getting back on the wagon now.. my motivation now is that my hubby is deployed doing his own training so i feel connected a bit working out on the same days he does... in this office I dont shake anyone's hand.....especially during the cold months... i might carry something home but normally if it went well I will shake the applicant's hand at the end of the interview. |

dating: either you like him/her or you dont... walk away if you dont... dont invest in nonsense family: strange creatures.... but will be there when the going gets tough .. they will judge and will be there for you regardless puberty: .... this too shall pass [= and will get better lol problems: dont let it over whelm you - think about - find a solution - and make it work for you.. if not then let it go - not worth your precious time and energy work: sucks [= but its money that pays your bills - do it 100% - every day .. day in day out~ ... show up on time and dont let your personal life interfere w/ the set schedule unless its a major catastrophe [= friends: some are true some are not - all including you will look out for number 1 ... if you can do the favor do it - if not- try to find out who it can do it - but remember if you can do it and dont do it...hmmm karma is a b*tch sex: can be fun protected - make sure you are being satisfied - if not walk away.. dont waste your time or energy~... remember look out for number 1 -- making love on the other hand is very precious to share w/ a loved one~ sexuality: explore it all - you only live once - but once is enough if you live it whole heartedly |

ive been on this for 8 months.... and i do not talk much about it.... and people do not react unless interested will ask what am i doing but again will just not be interested when I say .. water, walking and counting calories you have to be on this day in day out until you get the hang of portion size and all that... but boring and annoying I do understand.. I try to be well rounded on all topics and will talk about it if asked... |

...... best advice given to me back in February was to start jogging.. since I started in Nov. i had only walked on the treadmill then i jogged... 2 mins walked 2 mins jogged... now I do a program on the treadmill for 40 mins that goes higher incline, lower speed or vice versa.. its very good and I can feel it once im done... "according" to the treadmill ... when I used to manually do it.. i would burn like 300 in 30 give or take.. now I burn 500 cals in 40 give or take again... now whether or not those calculations are correct... idk~.. but i lost the weight steadily up until March where I started maintaining.. still logging my food... eating my bmr and above.. so the weight has only fluctuated between 132 and 137... which is not bad at all ~ try incorporating the jogging like sharz96 says.. so far its worked for me~ |

I love cake and cookies ... so go figure... Ive put splenda in my green tea and drink water I have a banana several times a week, yogurt, raisins, hard candy, dole fruit cups, and yes, I give into cake.. I just love cake If there is cookies around.. I just have a few and let it be... I also have fiber one cereal w/ honey clusters, see my trend.. huge sweet tooth lol |

personally I wish I had taken measurements since the beginning. So do that.. measure and see how you do in a few weeks or two... I measure monthly... remember the scale is not the do all be all or vice versa [= but I do believe even if the scale is not going down but your clothes feel looser then you are definitely tightening up the muscles .. sometimes people look smaller than they weigh but its because its muscle.. not fat... a pound of muscle is better looking than a pound of fat

look out for number one = you and you will understand..... i have a friend who we both started out w/ calorie count .. and she wanted me to log in her food wanted me to buy all the healthy stuff now blames me for not losing weight.... b/c i didnt get her a treadmill or the low cal foods... so basically look out for number one~ go out and do the friends stuff but steer clear of calorie subjects... thats what we are here for! |

it goes both ways just because you are skinny and get to eat whatever does not mean you are healthy.. and vice versa.. ok... its very hard to make healthy choices to snack on or a meal... especially w/ bbq's and get togethers.. but you have to only decide for yourself... aint no one else going to wake up the next day retaining water but you... so think about that (ok i just gave myself my own 2 cents of advice) gotta love forums!! |

ive been kinda maintaning for 3 months~ and i log in all the foods ... rude awakening when I go over my bmr .... so i start again in the next snack or meal .... thats pretty much it~.... start w/ the next meal like today i did not get on the treadmill....had a lot to do this past weekend... preferred sleep over getting up now I know I'd feel better had i gotten up at 4:30am but it was already 5:40am when I opened my eyes a second time~... so it was too late... i got up got my workout clothes and socks for tomorrow...~! |

when i first started i set very small goals of 10lbs each.. after a few months I did 5lbs goals.. now I have a 10lbs one... smaller goals are easier to visualize.... good luck and keep us updated~ |
