The running is much harder than I anticipated.  I fell and sprained my ankle on the first day.  So I skipped the second(Wed) and continued on the third (Friday).  I am going to do the "first week" for at least one more week until I can complete all the running cycles.  I also try to do some weights either at home or at the fitness center at work a couple times a week.

I should add that the picture in my profile is of me and my brother.  It's what my goal is....to look like that again and do the physical activities that I used to do.

Hi there!  I looked into the couch to5k thing this weekend.  Tomorrow is my first day.  I used to run ALL the time (7-8 miles 5 days a week). Former military so I didn't have much choice.  Then when I got out, I totally quit running all together.  I've started and stopped many times.  I think the problem was I tried to do too much too soon, burned out and just quit.  This program looks like a really good way to ease back into running.

I really appreciate the idea.   Thanks!!

I like your way of thinking.  I'll definitely try the Diet Swiss Miss.

I just started on this, and it has really helped me notice how many calories I consume every day without even thinking about it.  It also gave me a calorie target to aim for.
