i HATE refined sugar! it's pactically impossible to avoid. i dont even usually think about it. grr. thats ok, like lynn said, so far so good!

wow, good job antika! that takes loads of self control...lol.
i love nut rolls. i definitely left those at home when i moved out...lol.

she probably just lost it because she's so athletic... i lost my period the second track season started, didnt get it back for 6 months because i continued to run every day. then i gained 15 lbs and got it back >.< cruel irony, right? i don't think i'd go so far as to say she has an ed though. she might, but it might just be from all the physical work.

bodywisdom meadia is really good.... yoga complete for every body. it's really good, one of my favorites. it really helps you try and think about body position and if you're doing stuff right. AND it has little options to make the poses harder or easier, depending on what you can do. over 35 workouts.

oye...i have no clue.
BUT, drink TONS of water...i drink over a gallon a day. it really has helped me lose weight like nothing else.
and of course, exercise. the only way you're going to be losing weight eating 2400 calories in a day is by buring possibly over 400, depending on how many calories you burn sitting around doing nothing (usually around 2000)

like katydid22, i LOVE kohls bras! there's a brand called warmers, and they usually have 34d available...push up or not, many colors, and REALLY comfy...and pretty sexy :D
bra sizing can be really weird, especially at vs. 34d is almost the same thing as 36c, except you're a little skinnier with bigger boobs as apposed to the opposite. it's a very small difference, but i've found it really does matter

ug yes. i hate binging so much. i had gotten down to almost my goal weight, then i started picking up binging...i've gained 15 lbs. BUT that's gonna change.

i suggest  the self-help-type book "taming of the chew"...it's funny, sensible, and helps.

ya know, i used to hate it just as much as you do... but after not having it for 6 months, i kinda miss good old tom. (i blame joining the track team...running 3 miles+ every day will tend to do that to you i guess ^.^)

cycling totally opened up my world to weightloss/exercise. like you, i started at 30 minutes or so a night, (eventually upped it to an hour before i joined my high school's track team) and now i've managed to lose over 30 lbs. keep it up!
and someone probably already mentioned this, but the beer isn't the worst thing in the world, but it definitely isn't helping at all. loaded with dead calories that aren't doing anything for your body except hinder you. sounds stupid, but have a glass of juice instead (maybe some naked or odwalla...something healthy) to at least start breaking you of the habit. an occasional beer isn't bad, and i've heard it can be good for you, but if you're trying to lose weight...

just a random little side of information, but if you're going to be drinking wine, you should try to make it red wine...it has antioxidants and can actually be GOOD for you, as apposed to white wine with completely empty calories. of course this isn't very helpful if you don't like red wine, but i thought i'd just throw that out there for ya. good luck!

i am absolutely terrified of gaining back the 30lbs i've lost. especially since i've already gained 4 lbs in the last few weeks...i kinda slipped up. i'm starting to get back into good habits again though.
oatmeal is probably better for you, but not if you're gonna have two bowls of it.

as said before, try weighing yourself in the morning: after you go to the bathroom, before you drink anything.
that way, you'll get more consistent numbers.
i weigh myself every day, and i haven't "cracked" yet, but i'm sure it can't be good either :P
also, eating only breakfast and dinner=BAD
it's best to eat 4-6 times a day, small meals. helps your metabolism out a bunch, and helps you eat less if you control the small portions.

ever since about 6th grade i've been unhappy with my weight.
my sister used to call me twiggy because i was really skinny growing up, but i just loaded on the weight during middle school.
now i'm 18. i started my "diet" (lifestyle change ^_^) in november.
i was at 170, and something just kicked in and i realized i needed to just lose it. now i've been around 140 for about a month (been getting some binge-eating habits i'm afraid...working on killing those), lowest was 133, and i'm hoping to get back down there and stay around 130-125. (i'm 5'8")

1)vanilla strawberry rose
chocolate carmel enchantment (it's chai)
black spiced chai
english breakfast
licorice spice
orange spice
moonlight spiceany kind really...
idk, honestly the list goes on and on...

2) usually nothing, but i'll RARELY/occasionally have almond/soy/regular milk. and i never really put sugar in any more.

...now coffee? whole different story :D

GREAT thread! this totally happens to me all the time, and i really do want to feel as skinny as i've become.

age: 18
height: 5'8"
starting weight: 170
current weight: 137
goal weight: 125-130
(i'm kinda maintaining right now though)

parts i want to tone up:
-inner thighs (gross, anyone?)
-bootay
-stomach/abs
-arms
(haha basically everything i guess.)

and Kumi, please. just because the computer says it's true, doesn't mean it is. we are all very different.

honey, you have NOTHING to be worried about with 100 calories over, though it's still good to watch it a little more carefully...

while eating more is great and all, and could be the solution, that might just be wishful thinking.
try switching up your work out...
one day, run really fast for a few minutes, take a minute break, repeat several times till you're totally worked.
the next day, run at a good pace you feel comfortable with for a really long time.

i know EXACTLY what you mean.
even today the school councilor walked up to me and was like, "wow, you're looking tiny!"
i feel the way you do...when people compliment me, i'm like holy crap, was i seriously that fat? ya, i was.
and of course now a bunch of my friends think i'm anorexic. go figure. i guess they don't realize maybe i was sick of being the fat chick in our group? whatever. but ya, idk. sometimes i love it, sometimes i hate it :)

i second noresolution. you should eat more frequently, that'll really help raise your metabolism.
you could also try drinking green tea...it's supposed to help with that too.
