I have the trifecta. OCD plus Insomnia plus Anorexia. They're all interelated as you might have guessed and each one causes the other one to get worse. I also have depression. Fun life, I know.

I know some people might not like me posting this and I apologize for any discomfort I may have caused. The one thing I do agree with my friends about is that talking about it helps. Botteling it up for 4 years ever since those memories came flooding back certainly didn't. So I've told that core group of friends. I need to try other people before I tell my parents, or even my therapist. Those things would obviously have to come first before I did anything to this guy. P.S. Thats another thing that worries me, my parents are friends with his parents. |

Seriously? Okay I don't know if this is genuine or not, but I seriously doubt it. Your post screams attenion and I guarantee if you go ask any anorexic person (lncluding me) they weren't thinking "I want to look bone thin and sickly and get weird looks". And seriously, what type of guy has an eating disorder fetish? |

I know how you feel, I'm recovering too. I won't allow myself to look at my BMI or even try to calculate. That was how I charted my success at becoming skinny. So maybe try to not to think of it in terms of BMI, but rather personal health and happiness. |

Original Post by jolie_fille: Ah, Thanks. I've always felt self concious about my eyelashes. They are 3/4 of an inch long I really like it when girls have adorable laughs that make me smile every time I hear them. I like it when they have half smiles (When half your mouth quirks up when you think something is funny but not hilarious). And I like it when they have multiple colors in their eyes. Like Green with flecks of gray, or varying shades from outer edge to center. |

Where to start? When I was only 4 I was molested by the neighbor kid who was 15. This went on for about a month until he moved away. I forgot about it shortly after. Later in life my parents put a lot of pressure on me because I was the first born so I became a perfectionist. My mom is also a control freak. I was skinny until I was eight then I became obese and was called fat my entire young life. I hate change and puberty hit. Being a year older didn't make things better because I was alone. I also wanted to be attractive to girls and get attenion because no one noticed me. I had a great desire to be like everyone else because of being made fun of for everything. Finally my Grandpa died bringing the memory of when I was 4 rushing back. I told one of my only friends and he told people sending me into a cycle of depression. That was in my sixth grade year. Two years later near the end of the eigth grade I watched supersize me in health and I developed food phobias. From there things began cycling out of control. It got really bad in the beginning of freshmen year when the girl I always liked asked me to homecoming because I couldn't possible comprehend someone as ugly as me being with a goddes like her. So I decided to make myself good enough for her. My entire freshmen year becane a nightmare. Sorry about the length. |

-I HAVE NO MUSCLE! For a guy thats really unattractive. -When ever I sit down my butt and back hurt. -I'm so cold and I used to be the guy complaining about how hot it was. -I run out of energy alot. -People won't rest on my shoulders because they poke them. -When people hug me they get disgusted. -Everyone makes sure I eat. (my homecoming date said she would leave if I didn't have a full meal at the restraunt). -People think I'm gay because I talk about health alot. |

All 4. It says so in the criteria. I get to learn to speak Horsinian and I get to learn what a horse wrench does. They should even be making the horse costume for my size right at this very moment. It's mostly to be able to do horse yoga with them so we can learn how horses want the world. I really don't want a horse riding my back, but what are you going to do? Finally we get to ride. I can see it now, falling off the back, getting kicked in the face as I fall, and flying through the barn. Just picture that. Oh how glorious it shall be! |

That person is probably me. I get all A's with nearly no effort. I'm on Student Council and Honor Society. I'm the student that always gets called on to read their papers. I'm athletic and everyone says I should join a sports team, although they aren't my cup of tea. Everyone says that if we had track I would be the star track runner. I'm friends with the entire grade and no one hates me. I do piano and I'm almost an Eagle Scout. My parents appear perfect and funny to everyone. Every year they let me bring people to Cedar Point (Top coaster park in the world.). Last party they threw me a plane flew over and dropped candy. I'm tall and must people say I look good. Despite all of this I think I'm the unhappiest person in my entire grade, maybe even the school. I think of suicide at least once a day and hate myself. Which only makes things worse because invariable I always end of thinking "What right do you have to be sad?". I get fits of depression and neurotic perfectionism. Sometimes I wash my hands to the point that they bleed, not to mention other parts of my body. Just remember, things aren't always as they appear. |

I'm going to get a job at the library and hang out with my friends. Gonna have my sweet 16, so yeah, whoooooo. Going to try to get to whatever parties are held in this tiny unimportant town, so I'll probably party for one hour total. UNLESS people decide to start having fun (Don't count on it). I'll also be reading 2-3 books a week, but that's not at all unusual for me. Going to be spending 5 weeks away from the house. The first thing will be a Military Youth Leadership Camp where I'll finally be a junior coach, so yippe, (I really mean that yipee, honestly no sarcasm. Don't look at me that way. . .) Then its off to Scout Camp which isn't done justice by a yippe, so hip hip hooray (May be a wee bit of sarcasm there, but just a wee.). Then Church Camp. Then Horse Camp. When I heard that I screamed WTF. I don't even like horses, they scare me. They bite peoples hands then kick you in the face and you DIE, FOREVER. But my Mom said it was for free and I was going then I said no and then she said fine. You were going to get a surprise party, but I guess you'll be able to help now. So then somehow it turned out I was going and I had to act like it was a surprise party for everyone but me, so like a reverse surprise party. That confused look on your face is one I carried then, whenever I think about it, and now as I type about it. Happy days :D. Almost forgot Grandma's house for a week!!! Can't forget dear old Grandma now can we. |

I love experience double-edged sword. It just makes so much sense. You think it's hard getting a job? Try living in Michigan where unemployment is rising and adults with thirty years of experience at factories are competing for jobs that students normally get. It's very depressing. Thank god I'm prepared and I've built up a wonderful reputation at the library by volunteering, so when I apply this summber the job is all but guaranteed. Hooray for books, now and forever by best friends. Next stop Barnes and Nobles!!! (I doubt it). |

How much have you lost?: 58 pounds, maybe more. Haven't checked the scale in a good long while unfortunately. Is this the 1st time or a repeat performance?: 1st time. Are you finished?: Nope. How long did it take?: About 5 and a half months. How long have you kept it off?: Since I started. What approach did you use?: I exercise and cut down the amount of calories I eat. I stopped my addicition to pop, but not caffine (Thank god for coffee, diet pop, and tea). I stopped eating all fast foods and junk foods as well.

You're awesome. I have trouble about stuff with my brother as well. And seeing as how I'm in a prank war with some of my friends I'm going to take a few pages from your notebook. Hope you don't mind. :D I do have this to say though. You should never NEVER mess with a persons coffee. That stuff is sacred. Better just to burn his furniture. |

Sorry for dropping in, I just wanted to see what this thread was all about. I intend for this to be my first, and last, time coming to this thread. That being said what age do you think I am knowing I'm under 18? I also wanted to say that I get along pretty well with adults. The only thing I can't talk to them about are intimacy because it's just akward for me. As for any other topic we can go on for hours. - A curious teen. |

I think it depends on how hard. If you felt pain half an hour later go get help. I had a friend who is physically abused my is father. We tried to get him emancipated and to live with his aunt but his head is so wrapped up around this family first mentality that he won't do anything. So unfortunately all we can do is talk with little action. Just last week they kicked him out because he wouldn't go home with his crazy driver brother. Anyway even if it doesn't hurt that much and it really bothers you you should go get help. Good luck. |
