Okay, so I gave it a shot last night. It didn't pick up my heart rate during my laps. I guess that'll be the only time I won't be using it. So much for that. |

Agreed. Currently, I'm trying to exercise Damage Control. Driving past the fast food places and sucking it up so that I can eat what I have at home. Drinking more water. I'm glad I found this thread. I was a bit lost at to how much more Burn calories I needed past my Eat calories to make progress. Thank you, thank you, thank you all for clearing up that confusion. Now, I need to go kiss my Polar F11 and tell it that I won't neglect it anymore. This is all so exciting :) |

Hi Pod! I've pretty much maintained at 152-153 this week, and hope to get to my goal weight of 110lbs (my weight before child). Aunt Flo decided to stop in this week, so water retention maybe the cause of just hanging out in this weight range.
I hope your foot heals up! |

I finally acquired a Polar F11 sometime in November/December 2007.
I'm going to pop in one of the DVD's tonight for Tae Bo and see how I do.
That's a great idea, leilanilau!!! |

Carie, I'm such a putz...excuse my reply in not responding to your's My stats are: 4'11 and original weight 2 weeks ago was 165 Ultimate goal is to go to body before son...110lbs. I'm just excited to be out of my 160-165 range. He's 5...walks, talks, and all that jazz...there's no more excuse. Free day....oooh...thinking about going to the Vietnamese Pho house for a big bowl of pho minus the meat and the veggie eggrolls (so good) The weekend after...omg, who knows, the possibilities are endless, maybe some tantalizing 4 cheese macaroni or cuban food!
ETA - For everyone that is doing the BFL plan, are you using the calorie count max that you have listed or just around it? I'm given 1250 a day....now a way to find a happy medium within it all.

I hope that foodlist can help. I'm on the way to the Co-op by my office to get some seitan and tempeh for my protein. :) Cheers to using the program!!! 1. Day 1 (again for me) of BFL 2. Week 2 of using CC with a 10lb loss and maintaining so far :) 3. Week 2 of transitioning into an lacto-ovo veg way of life. |

Hi All! I finally made it into the 150 club!!! Right now, I'm fluctuating between 155 - 159lbs. It's probably not a great idea that I weigh myself every other morning. I'm just stoked to be out from the 160-165lb range that I've been living with for the past 5 years.

Could I ask for that same pm as well? Half the time, I'm not sure if I'm trying to have the bottom bigger number surpass the small number that keeps changing on my burn meter.

That scares me a bit. I haven't used my polar f11 just yet...if at all, since my DH gave it to me as a birthday gift. I'll double check the manual again, and may get the livechat with the polar csr. It would be more than ideal if it could function in the pool as well. |

From the Polar rep: Alberto: Thank you for chatting with Polar Customer Support. How may I help you today? Me: can I use the chest strap and the f11 while doing laps in the pool? Alberto: yes. It is water proof and water resistance. Me: just so I'm absolutely clear...I can wear the chest strap in the gym pool and not worry about cooking myself? Alberto: yes. Me: okay, that's good to know. Alberto: I use it for swimming. Alberto: it works just fine. Me: Excellent. |

Just an fyi for those that are interested...through the 24hr fitness website you can get the body bugg for 249.00 that's with no expected gym sign up. I would do it, but I already got my polar f11 in the mail last week :) |

I can't recall which member here does it...but I thought it was brilliant. Take a photo of everything you put in your mouth for the day by using your cell phone camera (if you have one) or just a small digital camera. It was something that made me stop and think. |

You could plan in advanced with a Lean cuisine and dessert. Just an idea for a busy-body. If you get hungry later in the evening, usually decaf green tea or white tea helps with a warm full feeling...that and I keep my idle hands busy to stay away from my mouth. Luckily on Tuesday night's I've been watching the Biggest Loser and it helps me stay motivated for a few days or so. **side note - a light salad with some fresh lemon juice and mint/parsely could help as well**

| I'm somewhat just starting this and trying to balance it with using this website. I don't really use the supplements that are emphasized, but I do like the convenience of a different brand's light version protein shake. Here's to a new way of eating :) Cheers. |

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
