my recipe:

 

Canned Chickpeas

Tahini

garlic

salt

lemon juice (a lot! it always works well with any legume dish, try also to use it in a red lentils soup)

olive oil

ground cumin

tabasco sauce

parsley (a lot!)

 

put all in a food processor with some warm water and blend until smooth.

I think I'll have it for dinner tonight, yummy!

Tahini is a sesame seeds paste used in many recipes from middle east and north africa, where the use of seeds and legumes is very large (i.e. falafel are fantastic!). I Italy we can only find it in ethnic stores or organic health food stores.

Or you can ask her if she knows anyone that has lost all that huge amount of weight very fast and is keeping it down after months/years, in good health.

I am sure she doesn't.

Or if she does then I am sure we all want to meet that person!Laughing

I am afraid I am the only girl in Italy having Oatmeal for breakfast! It's so not-italian! Anyway I love it with banana and cinnamon or half a teaspoon of cocoa powder and sugar. I use soy milk.

I have tried to buy PB once but it finished too soon Embarassed so I try to resist to that kind of food simply by not buying it...

glad to go below 160! Now I have to go below 70kg.

Guys I am doing pretty well and now I am 70.5 kgs = 155.424300 pounds.

I must say I am almost there!Cool

Now my BMI is 27.5 and I am classified as Slightly Overweight! I couldn't be happier... well sort of... I would be happier if I was 12 punds lighter eating a full bag of chips every day Tongue out

I have headaches when my blood pression goes a little lower than usual, so a single espresso coffee usually helps.

I am between being vegan and vegetarian (not sure which is the direction, tho Foot in mouth) and I usually eat:

Yakult bottle, Porridge Oats with soy milk, 1/2 banana and a little cinnamon and coffee for breakfast.

for Lunch pasta or rice with tomato sauce or vegetables a little olive oil, a big salad, a fruit

For dinner a soup made with beans or chickpeas or lentils, sometimes eggs, always steamed or grilled vegetables as side dish, slice of bread.

mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack is usually fresh fruit or a yogurt.

This is when I try to lose weight. There's a lot of vegetarian junk food out there, so beware!

 Bluekitti9 what do you mean for Orzo? In Italian has a specific meaning (barley) and it's a cereal that we use as rice substitute, just for a change. We also use the dried/ground version in the moka machine and it makes a lovely coffee alternative.

My grocery store list: water, bananas, tomatoes, zucchini (courgettes), apples, yakult, canned beans (of any kind, including chickpeas), soy milk, black rice,...

I am in between beeing vegan and vegetarian, so any other vegetable/fruit of the season will make my day.

I love hummus. I do it myself.

If you want to try it put in the food processor

chickpeas (from the can are ok)

1 lemon juice

1 Tsp oil (extra vergin olive oil)

parsley

1 clove garlic

tabasco sauce (to taste)

salt and pepper

0.5 tsp ground cumin

warm water

blend until very smooth, very high in proteins!

I have been a serious smoker for 18 years and stopped when I became very afraid for my health. My doctor had this power...

From the picture and your comments seems you are a person that cares very much to her body, perhaps you like to dress up, use makeup and perfume... well think about this: smoke SMELLS BAD! Sounds stupid but this is one of the things that keep me from starting again.
