You can avoid the lactose by using the powder and lactose-free milk or soy or rice milk. |

I keep some of those 110 calorie packs of cookies in the house in case I need to satisfy a sweet tooth. I also have the sugar free Jell-o pudding cups which are only 60 cals each. They help as well when I need some chocolate. Of course, I love have large bowls of steamed veggies. One bowl usually doesn't even come close to 100 cals. |

I found, last month, that a few days before TOM, I was 4 pounds heavier. But after TOM, those four pounds disappeared and I lost 2 more. I use pamprin mostly for the pain relief but it also works for water retention. I like it. |

Hi everyone. I am a female, turning 32 this week. I started faithfully doing CC on 1/27/08 at 230 lbs. I am 5'6"-ish and I am currenly at 216. My goal is to get to 150 lbs by the end of the year. At that time, I will reevaluate my weight loss goals with my doctor to see if I should weight less. I have a medium frame and good muscle density as well. 150 may be where I should be. I have a treadmill at home which is good as it helps to keep me exercising regularly and I also go to the YMCA to do some weight training as well as use other cardio machines. The change in my diet has been exciting and I still eat some bad foods just not that frequently and as long as I stay in my calorie goal which is 1000-1200 a day. I can't wait to get under 200. That will be my first real success. I have been over 200 lbs for at least the last 6-7 years. I have done harder things, I am a veteran and I did not always weigh this much; however, I have always battled my weight problem. I am sure it is/was because my eating habits were very poor. I am reinventing my relationship with food. I don't look at it as something that will just taste good. I look at it as a source of energy and nutrients that my body needs to be healthy. And since I have done so, I am probably eating the best I have in my entire life. Another thing I do is try to stay away from processed foods and only eat foods that don't have other ingredients. For example, I eat meat, vegetables, nuts, fruits, etc. and very little pre-pared foods. This really helps. |

| I have put myself on a 1500 calorie-a-day plan. I too am finding it hard to meet the entire 1500 calories but I know it is because I am eating healthier foods that have less calories. More veggies in mass quantities, lean meats and healthier snacks. | |||

| I felt hungry today aroung lunch time because I had only eaten about 300 calories by 1 p.m. I have been noticing the difference if I don't eat things periodically throughout the day. I am off to the gym and when I get home I am endulging in a big juicy chicken breast and some zucchini and squash. mmmmm | |||

| I fill my cart with the more healthy foods for me and my daughter and the rest is full of junk that my husband requires. That is embarassing! I always feel like I have to explain to the cashier why I have a large amount of fresh veggies along side Ho Ho's. :) | |||
