     black coffee with sugar-free syrup, orange juice with protein powder

L: romaine lettuce with tuna, cucumbers, tomatos, and honey mustard dressing

     small apple

D: Pesto soup(with beens & veggies). dinner roll

S: Life cereal with unsweetened silk

kodou - I will definitely have to go grocery shopping now. Now I can eat soy pizza with my family when they are eating normal pizza. Amy's stuff sounds perfect for school lunches as well. and wow, i never even though of eating tofu dessert! sounds intriguing. I will make sure to keep a watch on my iron.

There is a vegan restaurant around here that's AMAZING, so I will have to visit there more often.

omg. we are like the same person.

we both don't eat dairy and don't eat most meat. We both have trouble with finding a "normal" diet. I've restricted alot in the past, but then started binging(purging as well). So for the last month I haven't been able to find the balance. If I was hungry I would either eat nothing or binge. I've been trying to find the medium for a LONG time. Now that I've been eating only healthy foods, I don't  crave sugary crap, thus I don't binge or feel guilty for eating(Thank god!). 

After being on the extreme sides for a long time, it feels MARVELOUS to eat normal portions(instead of lettuce or like 10 cookies, lol).

wow. we are SO similar!

peacelovehominy - thanks for the info! I will definitely have to buy some boca burgers. I like tofu too, but i didn't realize it was that good for me. I will have to find some fun ways to cook it.

katergater - i agree completely, not eating dairy is the best feeling ever. I mean doesn't it seem a little wierd that adults are drinking milk meant for baby cows? I don't think humans were meant to drink milk(except when they are babies of course).

Last time I asked my mom to buy silk for me, she wouldn't because she said it was bad for me(i think something about hormones). Are there any ways of convincing her otherwise? 

I think we have spinach, so maybe I will go make a spinach salad............mmmmm

S: part of Apple Pie Larabar

D: hot cooked oatmeal with 1/2 apple, 3 hard boiled egg whites, romain lettuce(plain)

i lost 15lbs and went from size 6 to 4, but some of my size 4 pants are a little large, so maybe in 5lbs i will be a 2!

pilates is the best for toning. that's why alot of dancers(like myself), do pilates. because it creates lean, elongates muscles while burning fat so that the muscles don't bulk up.

try planning what you will eat the day before. that usually helps me stay more on track. don't try to completely deprive yourself of junk food. instead allot yourself a certain amount of calories to spend on sweets & other crap.

don't restrict your calories too much all at once either. try eating 2300cals tomorow, 2100 the next, 1900 the next, etc until you are back to normal.

don't be too hard on yourself, i've been exactly were you are now.(i recently ate 2500+ cals a day for a week). Luckily i'm  on the track back to normal.

breakfast: oatmeal with berries & organic lowfat milk, sugar-free cinnamon dolce americano

snack: sf hazelnut black tea, sf vanilla black tea(i work at starbucks and was having fun with sf syrups, lol)

lunch: romain lettuce with tomato, peppers, olives, mushrooms, and tiny dolop of dressing. honeydew. tall sf gingerbread frappuccino light(only 85calories!).

snack: 1/2larabar

dinner:oil popped popcorn, iced passion tea sweetened with splenda, fudge - my mom forced it on me =(

I'm glad there are so many other tall people. all my friends are short & tiny(like little pixies), so it makes me feel like a hugo-giant.

yeah! that's me too. I'm underweight by BMI standards(5'10" 121lbs), but ALL of my fat is in my butt and upper thighs. People think i'm really skinny and that i wear a size 2, but i actually wear a size 4/6. my upper body is really tiny though. I have trouble finding bras that fit because i have normal boobs, but i have a small torso width(not every store carries a 32C).

i eat most of my calories at dinner time. I've found that if i eat alot throughout the day, it only makes me hungrier. i try to always eat some breakfast, but my lunch is usually quite small.

i sometimes eat cereal for every meal. i often eat cereal at night. no, it will not harm your progress(unless you binge on it). If you are really that worried, then eat it dry, that way it takes longer to eat, and there's no calories from milk.

well i wouldn't really call myself a vegetarian, but i avoid all meat except for tuna and sushi(on occasion i might eat turkey). this is why:

1. fish is low cal as compared to a fatty calorific steak.

2. i don't really like the taste of chicken, ham, beef etc, but i really love tuna 

3.  tuna is good for you, why not eat it?
