Since we all seem to have a issue with eating snacks and sweet things why don't we make our first competition something like a "Snack Attack". Since Sunday technically starts the new week heres what we can do:

Everyone will select a certain amount calories designated for snacks and desserts ( a reasonable amount) and post that number Sometime Saturday. We will log our snack intake for the week and at the end of the week, on Saturday, the person that was closest or used the lowest amount of their snack attack calories will be allowed to have their Ultimate Snack on Sunday and we can start a new competition then.

I would call a snack and dessert something like chips, cookies, candy, brownies, cake, really buttery popcorn....stuff like that.

And of course you have to come back and tell us what yummy treat you had!!

How does that sound?  Does anyone wanna try?  It will be hard for me...Smile

I love taking photos and looking at them is the best part...until that is I see my stomach bulging out...then I drop them and run as far away as I can.  Up until recently, when I made the commitment to loose my pouch, I was able to say that I just had a baby so I need time to recover and get rid of it...well she just turned one.

We were doing some cleaning and I found pictures of the from high school when I had no belly, and looked skinnier and healthier than all hell. Once I get to that shape again I will love looking at full shots again!!Cool

virgmg007- you are just like me....I said the sweets would be my downfall.   They are the only thing that I go overboard with!!  I started chewing sugar free gum when I have the urge to down a pack of chocolate chip cookie and milk and it has seemed to help.  I have been looking at those 100 calorie pack desserts...they taste good but they may make you crave for more.Well they made me crave for more at least.Smile

lilness- I'm up for  alittle friendly and motivational challenge....what did you have in mind?

Just a rant...how come I always feel like the heaviest one in a group!!  Thats ok...I feel good...for now!!

Sorry, should have explained this better.  You are supposed to do three workouts a week according to their program.  So for each week you will do three workouts, just follow them in order meaning do workout #1 for your first workout of the week and follow in order.

You do have the option to change to fit to your specific needs or what you can handle.

THANKS FOR JOINING!  P.S.  I am worried cause i'm not a runner either but with this you take baby steps, so i'm hoping it will be ok!

I remember once having a eveluation done where they hooked you up to a machine and they could get all types of reading done.  They showed you what % of your body was fat, water density, and just a slew of othe interesting things.  I have not been able to find that anywhere locally?  Any suggestions of what type of establishment would have that?

I just started getting back on track to healthier easting and would like to loose about 30 pounds.

I had my first child last November and was so determined to loose the 15-20 pounds I picked up during pregnancy, however once the baby came and settled into the home, I became so drained from work and taking care of the child that I let myself go.

I started a diet twice before and got distracted by fast foods and sweeets and never returned.  But a year later I am now ready to make the commitment to remove these unwanted pounds and take my body back.  I am a dancer and would like to be able to return to that soon with healthy body. My downfall will be sweets!! 

I need a little motivation and support from people who have the same goals and issues as me...we can motivate each other!!
