liljdoll: OMG, Im obsessed with the Food Network too, I usually watch it before i go to bed...I dont know what it is, but it kinda realxes me...and there's some kick ass ideas on it too.As my new years resolustion I have decided to give up booze for 30 days...it's now been 10 days and Im ready to lose it lol. Its extremely hard and dont advise anyone to do it hahahah. The hardest part is breaking the habbits Ive formed...for instance, I was thinking of cleaning my room, so I immediatly thought " hum, I should pour myslef a glass of wine..." or when I get home from work and immedietly go to the fridge for a beer... I dont know how long it's going to last but hopefully I;ll make the 30 days... great, and today's friday (the worst day for wanting a cold, refreshing beverage) lol. Summer72: Ive done that too except it wasnt brownies, it was a grilled cheese on the stove... thank god my younger more responsible sister was home :) |

Hey guys, I love this forum, I've been wanting to discuss the same topic Im glad someone started it. I have the same problem....booze lol. I do really well except when it comes to the after work and weekend drinks, I dont drink mixed drinks im usually a wine after work and light beers on the weekends. I dont over eat except when Im hungover (usually cheeseburger w/ fries iced tea), now Im getting chunky and my clothes dont fit the same way they used to :(. Does anybody think by working out harder during the week will make up for it on weekends???? |

Nanamoss: It took you 4 years to immigrate here? I have been trying to move to the US for about 3 years now and its damn next to impossible, unless you apply as a student or have some kind of skill. Im in sales in the food Industry, would you know any pointers on how I could do this??? Schnooder: There are many nice parts of Toronto, I would guess you were talking about downtown, King West is pretty trendy, lots of shops, bars, restaurants etc.. try and mapquest wheree you were, that always helps me :) Spuckine: Im in TO too, not happy about this snow :(

I try and stick between 1200-1400 during the week (weeekends are a whole different story). It can be pretty frustrating. Any pointers??? |

Thanks agape1897, I just started this site and am usually at work when Im on it. I dont have pics on this computer yet, but i will soon. Thanks for the tips, their going to come in handy! So I was thinking for this weight loss by Christmas, if we went out and bought a nice peice of clothing (ie) dress, pair of jeans, tighter top whatever we wanted to wear on Christmas or even for New Years and bought it a bit smaller (1 0r maybe even 2 sizes) and that can be our goal outfit. Every so often we come back and let eachother know how its coming along, where its fitting loser, what area we need to work on and that way we can encourage eachother.... Any takers??? |
