thanks for the reply. btw i am definitely NOT underweight (lol) and have never been underweight my entire LIFE...i just love food too much. I was just worried that all my running would lead to a slower metabolism and then weight gain...but since it sounds like it's gonna be ok, i will just continue with what im doing. Thanks! |

| meh. It sounds like all i can really do is tighten/consolidate my butt but not make my bones actually go IN...oh well, at least now I have a good excuse if someone comments on my hip size...im BIG-BONED :) | |||

thanks for all your replies guys, i think im going to try those exercises but I'm just afraid that it'll make my already big butt even bigger...my hips tend to be big BOTH ways, but worth a try Thanks! |

| absolutely NOT! You'd be surprised how much energy it takes just to keep a young, teenage body just functioning! I mean, think about it, your body has to heat you, run your all your organs, and a whole bunch of other stuff...not to mention you prolly have a high metabolism b/c you're so young and you're body is still growing. Besides everything you ate is super healthy and good for you anyways. I wouldn't be worried at all, it seems that you've got the eating healthy/appropriate amount thing down! | |||

meh I don't mind sharing that stuff... I'm 18, 5'9, and 161 pounds bust: 36 waist: 29 hips: 40 I just feel like my hip BONES are the problem and idk if that's something that I can fix...just cause its actual BONE and not FAT that I can shed...or maybe I should just make my butt flatter...idk somehow/someway I just want to look smaller in that area |

| I've tried it but it really isn't worth the money b/c it's not like you can just stop dieting and exercising...so at the end of the day you still need to work to lose weight.. :( | |||

| I'm 18, female, 5'9, and around 160 right now and I eat 1400-1500 cals a day, run 30 miles a week, bike 18 miles a week, and do resistance training 4 hours a week. I'm trying to lose another 20 pounds so that's why it may seem a little much... | |||

hey i'm 18 5'9 small frame and the last time I weighed myself (1 week ago) I was 170 (10 pounds down!!) so...i was wondering if i could join b/c i'm pretty sure im at least in the high 160's by now. My goal is to be 140 (maybe 130...we'll see) by the end of March 2008. I'd love lots of support also so plz me nice to me!! lol ok thanks. |

| I measure b/c I worry about eating too much and plus if I was to eyeball (which I suck at) I would probably be more lenient about adding extra...so yeah....I measure EVERYTHING. | |||

GAH! Who needs 'em...If i were you I wouldn't need any acknowledgment from anyone because....I mean 41 pounds!! thats a LOT! i would be so proud of myself that I wouldn't need anyone to say I how good looked, because I KNOW that I would be looking good...ya know what I'm saying? Anyways, even if they didn't mention it im positive they noticed. 41 pounds is a lot of weight to lose and it's hard not to notice that it's missing from a person...so keep up the good work and dont get discouraged!! |

| OMG. I understand COMPLETELY. I used to figure skate so I have a lot of muscle and I freak out b/c the scale says that I weight 170 (im 5'9) but my friends/people I know do NOT believe me when I say that. When I ask them how much they think I weigh they always put me in the 140-150 range...grrr it's frustrating b/c i want to be able to say "yeah...i weigh 140, etc...." but my weight is always so much higher...i hate it. | |||

This isn't my main reason but it's an uncommon one... I want to be able eat dinners at restaurants (like cheesecake factory) that have HUGE portions and not look like a fatty. Even if I don't eat the whole dish I feel like people are watching me and seeing if I'm going to eat the whole thing...paranoid much? lol...anyways, I'm always jealous of those girls that are able to order their food and not look like a pig... |

| I JUST started dieting/exercising about week ago and I've lost 10 pounds since...I am 5'9, small frame and I USED to weigh 180 (170 now yay!) but anyways I've been eating around 1440 calories a day and try not to eat less that 1350 a day. I am trying get down to 140 by the end of April. I'm kind of worried about the rapid weight loss but I really am eating healthy things and I don't feel starved/weak at all during the day. | |||

| Hey!! I'm 5'9 and I've recently decided to lose weight. The lowest I've ever been was 112...but that was when I was around 5'4. Hehe i've grown a lot since then. I am now 180 and I am working on losing 40 pounds by the end of April....although I would LOVE to be 130 but i don't know if that's possible for me w/o looking like i'm starving. | |||
