| its going to hurt. youve obviously used food in the past to cover up things in your life that you werent happy with. taking away that medivcine allows the pain to come back. its an addiction. But you CAN be 225. i KNow it :) Do it, and im sure that you will be able to forgive yourself for the past. there is nothing like the present. we are all here for you. | |||

| been there done that until i realized even if i chew and spit junk food instead of having lunch, i wasnt losing weight, i was actually gaining. i researched iut on the internet because i really wasnt swalloeing any of it. i learned that since i was chewing such sugary foods, my gums still absorbed all of the sugar! so its been hard, but ihavent done it in quite a while now. stop while you can, thats my advice :) | |||

| i am 20 years old 150 lbs 5'6". when i was younger i was a healthy 128 lbs. I went through some hard times and ended up wighing 100lbs. i dropped the weight very quickly. i stopped eating completly. my body has been through alot. Anorexia, bulemia, and depression. Ever since that dramatic weight loss, my metablolism has never been the same. i feel as though if i eat a drop of fat it just clings to me. Im just warning you that you dont want to get where i am. Its been 5 years since my eating disorder and im still healing from it! i started restricting calories because i wanted control. my parents were very restrictive of me and i wasnt allowed to do much besides sports and school. And through the ed i had control... at least i thought i did. im not saying that you have one.... but you are traveling down a path that will continue to get darker and darker. so ask yourself if there is something in your life that isnt under your control. i.e. a boyfriend, parents divorce... it could even be the little things (dont overlook the cause). good luck. we are all here for you when you need it :) | |||

i mix: nf milk, cottage chees, yogurt, and crushed pinapple and freeze it. maybe add some splenda to taste. its delicious!

thank you everyone for the help. I actually noticed that when i add nonfat mil to my food log this site also reccomends to me to drink 2%. i just havent in so long so i tried it yesterday and it tastes like melted whipping cream. ewwww!! i think i will just try to cut back a little and also split half and half with soy and nonft regular. sounds good to mix it up anyway! I also started to drink the fat free noi sugar added hot chocolate. it only has 25 calories perpack and i inly use a couple tbls (instead of a whole cup) of milk and the rest is water. As you can tell im addicted to hot stuff. its just that its so cold here and i want something to keep me warm and get rid of those cold munchies that i get! Thanks again |

| i would love to join all of you in this goal of losing about 15 lbs! im 5'6'' 150lbs. always been athletic, but have had eating disorders in the past and struggle alot with food. The stresss of school and not liking the way i look has been hard for me. I dread going home on my school breaks because i just feel ugly. I would love to stay motivated and thats why i just signed up. This will be a hard journey, but i know the end will be rewarding! STAY STRONG! | |||
