bean soup! and side salad with salsa as your dressing. i get it everytime!!! (I'm vegetarian, but it's also lowest in cals!)

 

ps. on the salad, they usually put avocados, which are good for you, but in moderate amounts =)

yea ive pretty much read the entire thread too.

 

so i tried this last night for the very first time...and i woke up this morning to dewy skin w/ no new breakouts!! =) very exciting.  of course im not 100% sure about it yet cuz ive only done it once but ill keep you guys updated if you want!!

i've been told that if you have a high fiber diet and don't drink enough water then the fiber actually adds to the problem.

i have somewhat of a tooth fettish...i like my teeth verrryy WHITE!! 

 

rembrandt whitening strips are the BEST. the best. crest whitening sticks don't work

the rembrandt ones are for 7 days, use 30 min. once a day..and voila!! super white teeth. i swear by these.

well healthybmi you hit the nail right on the head! im already having a love affair with dark chocolate...

 

question...do you think having a cheat day once a week is helpful? i've only recently started giving myself one and i think it actually is helping... because the day after my cheat day im like "omg...i have to be soo good today!" and that mentality lasts a couple of days, and by the time im getting off track...its time for another cheat day! 

 

jw...i actually think i look pretty good, except my upper thighs are still carrying an extra half inch and its bothering me...my body is holding on to those last few pounds for dear life..damn it!

ah omg we are the same!

im 19 and 5'5" and last november i was 150 and started losing about 2lbs/week by restricting my calories to 1300 (1500 on exercise days).  its important to also workout though...i started working out about 5xweek and it boosted my metabolism without a doubt.  

 

i just made sure i didn't go over 1500 cals per day and that i had at least a 500 cal deficit.  im now at 130! just like you i want to get to 125.  you can do it!! if i can, then you can =)

oh ok well i live in texas and only some of their entrees are listed with calories so i googled it (dietfacts.com i think is what came up) and it said 900 something w/o chicken and 1220 with..? 

maybe that's wrong though i don't know

ok well i didn't think it was thatttt bad.. i know the cheese and walnuts and stuff aren't great but come on 1220 cals?! thats ridiculous! it had balsamic vinaigrette dressing...i've always thought that the oil-based dressings were much better than the creamy ones? 

 

i guess i'm not as calorie-savy as you people but i don't know i just found this shocking.

well... since we have the same exact stats (!!) i would definitively take it as a compliment.  My parents have noticed my weight loss, but that's about it, or at least no one else is telling me they've noticed that i've lost weight.  

people are noticing that you look better, have more confidence, and feel good about yourself.  who wouldn't be jealous of that?

i LOVE HB of Oats!!! im addicted too.  

use skim milk for sure..

another thing that's really good and keeps you full is HB of Oats mixed with Dannon coffee yogurt-- i know this sounds disgusting, but you cant say anything until you try it!! (my roommate thought it sounded gross until i made her try it; now she eats it for breakfast every day)

just to give you a little variety..and keep you full!! =)

im also 5'6", 19, and i starting weight was 150-152.  

im now at 137ish and hoping to be down to 125...but i also found it difficult to eat my calorie max of about 1500..i would eat practically nothing all day and think i did really well..and then at night i would be starved and just eat and eat.  what is your recommended calorie limit? its good to eat up to your limit, along with working out, and you'll give yourself a nice deficit for the day.  

also, after you start working out for a while, your metabolism with most likely speed up.  i know mine did, and now i cant get through the day without a decent amount of calories.  

the first month or two is usually hard to get your body start losing weight, but you'll eventually start having the lbs melt off of you as long as you give yourself a good calorie deficit!

yea i do that-- i run 1.5 minutes on the tredmill at high intensity, then walk for 2 min, then repeat.  i do this for about 30 minutes..and though it makes me sweat a TON, i really think it's helped me to lose weight.

id like to have an answer to that too! ive heard that a lot of times, by the end of people's weight-loss journey, more and more "bad" foods start to creep into their diet, thus preventing the loss of the last 4-5lbs.  but i dont think this is true for everybody..?
