Hey guys, internet has been down! for the 17-19 i guessed a daily deficit of 500 calories and exercise = 30 mins every day so probably a total of 24 points? is this okay?

internet was down since the 14th! so i couldn't count calories, but i ate the same so probably an estimate of a 500calorie deficit from the 15-19.. and thirty minutes of exercise every day, so for the 15th and the 16th probably 16 points?

I'll post 17-19 in the thread for week 4!

Most people here seem to be heavily into the classics. While I've read a lot of Charles Dickens, Emily Bronte, Shakespeare, George Eliot, Harper Lee (well I've read her only book, but lots of times) and the like, nowadays I'd more readily pick up a Don Delillo than anything else. He's the author that makes me think 'Nah, people can't really right like that, no-one is that clever.'

Having said that, the best two speeches in fiction that I've read are Atticus' speech at Tom Robinson's trial, and (of course) - 'Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears' - Antony's speech in Caesar.

For light reading I like Tom Holt and Christopher Brookmyre. I have a few Terry Pratchet books (courtesy of an Aunt that's been sending them to me since year 4), which is great for reading when you don't feel like thinking haha.

As for poetry, Dover Beach by Matthew Arnold.

Hey guys, I've studied in the British system before (half year 10, 11, then started A levels but had to move back to Aus). I found this all confusing at first too when people told me that between Highschool and Uni there was this thing called college haha. Helped me to just think of British college as 'year 12 and 13.'

I have the opposite problem, for a few days before my period and during it I have to force myself to eat and half the time I throw it up again anyway, NOT intentionally by the way, just because of the pain of the cramps. Pretty much all I can stomach for about a week is soup.

Luckily I only have to go through it once every 4 months (under doctor's instructions) - otherwise I'm bedridden for 3 or 4 days every month.

Question about chest measurement: some things say to measure just below your boobs, others say at the fullest part (which I always took to be the bust measurement?) just want to make sure I'm measuring right!
