| ahhh im back! ive been gone for WAY too long, thanks to my stupid computer crashing AGAIN! hopefully itll stay alive and kickin from now on! i was so bummed that i couldn't come on here and post my progress and see everyone elses! well anyway, ive kept on track and lost some weight and i hope everyone else has too! hopefully i havent been kicked out of the club or anything, and ill be on her regularly, providing my comp stays ok. alright ttyl piggies! | |||

| hey my fellow pigs!!! im finnnnnally back. geez. my computer crashed and my dad had to get a new hard drive or something. but since i havent been online in FOREVER, i kept track of my weight on paper. anyway, just wanted to say i didnt leave the club and now im back for good :) hope everyone had happy holidays! | |||

lots of good ideas! yah i think you should just go ahead with the new thread moody, i like 7 little pigs. and the idea with the weigh ins is a good one too. maybe some days we could decide to park further back in the parking lot, so we have to walk a little bit longer, to wherever our destination is (school, work, etc) . even if there are open spots in front park in the back of the lot, because even a little extra walking can make a difference!i think im going to start going hardcore diet/exercise on thursday, once my finals/school semester is over. for me, i know that if i wait till after the holidays, i will just get out of control foodwise, so i need to put myself in check before it gets to that. but i completely understand people with busy schedules wanting to wait till afterwards. i already told my mom not to put any candy in my christmas stocking. haha. because otherwise i eat about 6000 calories of candy in one day. |

haha good idea, if they dont fit ill keep them anyway, and hope theyll fit next year. yah scales are kind of a rip off, one time i got an expensive one that was supposed to measure bmi and all that junk too, but it was totally wrong and never really worked. now i just have the kind with the little pointer thing that moves. colleen-i agree that getting new music on the ipod helps alot! sadly i dont think ill exercise today, but good luck with yours! and teener, at least you were productive today! :) plus wrapping presents is always kind of exciting since it means the holidays are almost here! |

| so anyone have any exciting plans for the holidays?? im going home and i cant wait! i also will probably go snowboarding, which is fun and burns a lot of calories so thats exciting....although, im not sure ill fit into my snowboarding pants from last winter! eek. i better check that out. | |||

My favorites are: Cant see my feet club P.I.G. butterballs I'm from a small-ish town in orange county (southern cali), but right now im at school in central cali. however, socal will always be home. Hmmm, Im fat because i LOVE carbs and chocolate. I can honestly say i work out plenty, and i know if i ate less i would be good to go. so my problem is solely with food choices. |

| im a member of the single club too. im 22 and have yet to go on a date/have any sort of relationship. pretty sad. the worst part is im not even picky at all, looks really dont matter much to me, but literally no one has ever shown any interest any me or asked me out. i mean ive had drunk guys hit on me, but thats it. even when i wasnt overweight guys never talked to me. the good thing is though, since ive never had a bf, im not too sad about it, since i dont what its like to have one. the main thing that bugs me i think is that my friends and family all pity me for not having a bf. and i dont want their pity! | |||

hi! I've been looking for a group like this to help keep me accountable. Im 22, in college and a bio major chem minor. Im 5'7 and 174. I dont have a job, but my classes take up almost all of my time. I have mitral valve prolapse, which really only affects me if i have caffeine or am working out intensely. Last time i went to the doctor he said i should lose weight because i guess my cholesterol levels were semi-high for someone my age. So anyway, i want to lose weight to get healthy and help my heart and lower my cholesterol. Short goal: lose at least 5 pounds by the time spring semester starts. Long goal: Complete an olympic length triathlon by the end of summer, and keep off the weight, because my pattern is to drop a lot of weight and then gain it all back in a few months. |

| Id like to lose about 35 to 40 pounds, and be in good enough shape to complete an olympic length triathlon. i really just want to have muscle and be super toned and in shape. also, i ride my bike a lot and its kind of embarassing to wear spandex! what about you? thatd be awesome to have a weight loss buddy :) | |||

| oh, and also if you live anywhere near where they have the subaru womens tri, i would recommend doing that one. thats the one i did, and it was women only, and it was a very supportive environment for first-timers. | |||

| hi! i just did my first sprint triathlon in october and im planning on trying to do an olympic length one this summer. however, i am and was overweight when i did my tri ,and i still finished with a decent time. the thing that shocked me the most though, was that even though i trained all the time i didnt lose much weight. since tri training is so intense, a lot of times you work out in an anaerobic state, which is why you gain endurance but fail to lose weight. however i still felt a lot healthier after training, even though my weight didnt change much. also, its important to eat enough carbs when youre training, which also hinders weight loss. i would also recommend drinking something like propel or smart water while training, since you lose a lot of important ions when you sweat. i dont really have much advice on training, except to keep up with it even when you dont want to, because even taking a week off hurts. anyway, good luck with your training!! | |||

| I've done the same thing, twice. Lost a bunch of weight, felt great, but then i went back to eating too much and gained it all back. every time i lost weight i told myself i'd never get fat again, because being in shape felt so good. im determined to have this be the last time im overweight. every time i want something sweet or unhealthy (like right now) i make myself think about it for at least 15 minutes. in my head i think how good it would taste, but then how miserable i feel being fat. eating is momentary happiness, while being healthy makes you feel better a lot longer. | |||

| hummus is amazing! they have a really good variety of hummus at Trader Joe's. my favorite is making a veggie wrap with hummus, instead of dressing or mayo. | |||
