Maybe your like me, there is something emotional tied to it. I have been binging for almost 2 weeks, and when I say binging, I mean eating so much junk food, I literally get sick.

Started 2 weeks ago, and last night, I think I found the answer to why. My parents have decided to move from my home in IL to Germany for a job position....

When my friend asked me yesterday how my mom was...I just busted out in tears and ran for my car. Thats when it popped in my head, I found out about it 2 weeks ago...Im a depressed binger.

It stops today. Breakfast today is cottage cheese, oatmeal and an apple.

Lunch is a pizza lean pocket and some soup.

Dinner is salad and chicken breast with my grandparents.

Good luck to everyone else, I'm keeping to this non-binging life.

I bought a box of Kinder Country chocolate at the grocery store yesterday because they come in individual candybars with only 130 calories in each. And actually they have an A- grade on CC because there's milk and grains in them.

Anyway, since they're so "good" for you (or at least not as horrible as other candy bars), I figured I would buy a box to satisfy my chocolate craving every once in a while.

Yeah, and now the whole box is gone a day later. oops.

Ever happen to anyone else with your weakness food?

The benefit: Now you know that and it's also out of the house now, isn't it?

Always look at the good side and move on.

Your immaturity always is entertainment enough for me. Congratulations, you have a picture of BOOKS BEHIND YOU! LOL. So, I'm going to go home and take a picture of a couple hundred dollar bills and say I'm rich.

Keep trying to talk "smart," not only is it make for entertaining reads on my mini-breaks, but I can tell you are getting very angry and frustrated over this.

The funniest part is I AGREE with you about no one actually needing milk, what so ever, but unfortunately, you are so cocky I wouldn't give you the time of day to think you are right ;] Enjoy.

Of those autoimmune diseases studied in relation to nutrition (MS, diabetes type I and II, Parkinson's, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's, Colitis, etc.), the consumption of animal-based foods -- especially cow's milk -- is associated with greater disease risk. Consumption of cow's milk was found to be as good of a predictor of MS as latitude.

Americans consume more cow's milk and its products per person than most populations in the world. So Americans should have wonderfully strong bones, right? Unfortunately not. A recent study showed that American women aged fifty and older have one of the highest rates of hip fractures in the world. The only countries with higher rates are in Europe and in the south Pacific (Austrialia and New Zealand) where they consume even more milk than the United States. What's going on?

Those countries that use the most cow's milk and its products also have the highest fracture rates and the worste bone health. Under healthy conditions, the body uses an activated form of vitamin D, calcitriol, to adjust how much calcium it absorbs from food and how much it excretes and distributes in the bone. Calcitriol is considered a hormone; when more calcium is needed, it enhances calcium absorption and restricts calcium excretion. If too much calcium is consumed over a long period of time, the body may lose its ability to regulate calcitriol, permanently or temporarily disrupting the regulation of calcium absorption and excretion. Animal protein and excessive amounts of calcium increase the risk of osteoporosis. Milk is the only food that is rich in both of these nutrients.

Dairy intake is "one of the most consistent dietary predictors for prostate cancer in the published literature," and those who consume the most dairy have double to quadruple the risk. That is according to a 2001 Harvard review of research into the subject.

Casein (the protein in cow's milk) has been shown in animal studies to be an extremely potent cancer promoter.

This is why its pointless to have discussions like this on the internet, BECAUSE it is the INTERNET. You can find anyones opinion on here to prove your own theories so no one will ever win till an actual CREDIBLE source is used. Which won't happen.

My skin has cleared up and I rarely get blemishes. The scars on my face don't show at all anymore (don't know why, not complaining, either). My hair is stronger and less fluffy. My fingernails don't chip off at the tips and I rarely get those little white calcium spots. And, my favourite, my vision has improved. Not much, and probably pure coincidence, but I have some peripheral vision in my left eye now.

Alot of the same changes Ive noticed. I haven't had any type of pimple in almost 2 years when I use to have really bad acne.

Also, believe it or not, most of my bright red or purple stretch marks are almost completely gone, finally after 2 years of weight loss. I really never thought they would go away.

Don't avoid milk. The proven benefits to everyone from moms to body lifters has been shown time and time again.

It helps build and repair muscle better then anything because of the slow releasing amino acid in it

Aids in weight loss

Good cholestrol

Hi everyone

I tried to post this before but my internet was messing up, so I dont think it went through..

I am trying to get off my weight loss plan and ease myself to maintaining, but im having a hard time...I am about 110 pounds (Im short though) and I think Im happy where Im at, then I start taking pics and finding things wrong

ever since I lost weight I notice my sides go out much more than I ever noticed, and although my boyfriend tells me its my hips and he considers me "hourglass" shape I cannot help but think they're just love-handles and he's trying to be nice. I cant figure out if I need to lose some more weight and see if that helps or what...

Any advice would help! I posted one of the pics I took as my default so you could see what I was looking at.

Thank you!

Consider yourself lucky. Thats exactly how my hips look...except im a guy. A guy with an hourglass figure = retarded.

Foods How BIG is your breakfast? Mar 28 2008
02:12 (UTC)
19

I tested the whole breakfast theory a few months ago, hence the rant thread I made awhile back. For a month, I ate ATLEAST 550 calories for breakfast, and as high as 800. I ended that month with a 11 pound loss. Next month I did a breakfast of 350 or less, usually consisted of a scrambled egg some toast and some type of cereal. Anyways, lost 2 pounds for the month and I was always tired and ended up skipping some lifting sessions. Trust me, you may feel like you wasted your entire day so early...but in all reality, you won't need to snack until later in the day and on top of that, you should have a ton more energy. Happy eating.

Weight Loss why is it so stinkin easy to gain weight, but SO HARD to take it off? Mar 28 2008

Original Post by slappysong:

You guessed it, I'm a yo-yo-er. I am 5'1" and currently weigh about 127 lbs, an increase of my weight about 4 months ago, 117. My history has been filled with weight ups and downs, where I've ranged anywhere from 117-163. The problem is that when I reach a "comfortable" weight (where I think I look okay and feel pretty fit), I start to get lazy and eat whatever I want and work out less.

I started my "lifestyle re-adjustment" 3 days ago, where I've been eating under 1500 calories and working out about 2 hours a day, and I feel tired, faint and hungry. I know I just have to go over this initial hump to get used to the new lifestyle change, but it is a sad realization for me to realize that I have to maintain this lifestyle.

I guess this post is more of a venting session than anything. Thanks for reading, any words of encouragement are definitely appreciated!!

Unfortunately, Im eating around 2600-3500 a day and I can't seem to stop losing weight ;[ My new job has been running around like a lunatic and I completely blame that.
