well done on your workouts :)

salads are good, but you want to ensure that you are getting enough protein too to maintain your lean muscle mass.

if you have a salad as a meal, make it with a variety of veggies, some grilled chicken, or salmon, and a light dressing made with best quality olive oil and a bit of lemon juice.

a wee bit of chocolate is fine, but try to keep it to an ounce or two a day.

most of all, keep up your positive, can-do attitude Laughing

have you tried "My Fitness Coach" for the Wii?  it really kicks butt! 

i got it for x-mas, and have lost a few pounds, but better than that, i could only do about 5 "girl" pushups when i started, and now i am up to 15 Laughing

the only drawback, is that does not work with the Wii fit board, so you have to enter your weight manually, but it will also keep track of any measurements that you enter for waist, hips, and a couple of others.

this isn't really an answer, but it reminds me of my drive to work friday

it was -3F when i left, and i saw a man jogging down the street, and thought he must be insane, until i stopped at the store, and saw one of the employees outside on a smoking break.  that is truly insane.

cardio, cardio, and more cardio....its the only way to burn fat.  if you want to do crunches, it will give you muscle definition, but it will not "reduce" your waist.

if it is any consolation, we women worry about our waistlines too :)

i have had my wii fit for 7 days now, and have lost 2lbs. just doing the regular wokouts. have you tried the 10 minute hula hoop, or the 10 minute rhythm boxing? both feel like total calorie torchers to me.

i have had lumps appear on both calfs, then go away.  i happened to have one last time i went to the doctor, and she told me it was just harmless fluid build up.  of course, my lumps did not hurt, and always went away in a day or so.

you can use the balance board with Wii Ski...yes, its a seperate game, not the balance game in Wii Fit
