1 can of libbys pure pumpkin put in the microwave for about 2-2.5min. Then add some cinnamon and a small bit of stevia or equal. only 140cals and thats a big bowl full.

Fitness Anyone do unconventional exercise? Nov 16 2009
21:55 (UTC)

well I just stay active now. Instead of trying to find something on TV or surfing the internet, I go out for a walk, dance to some music  or do something where I am moving. I live on campus so I walk every where and take the long way around. I take the stairs whenever  I can and always make sure to work the stomach muscles and legs as i walk. I dont count cals anymore and am just maintaining. However I would love to start some strength training exercise program that I can do at home with body weight.

I understand why your asking. One might feel pretty good about themselves but would be interested in knowing how outsideres saw them. Its the same thing with personality. People may always come off being percieved differently.

By the way about 115 maybe, Im not great at guessing anyones weight but my own lol. Anyway you look really slim and good. Hope that helped.

I have always loved the french fries dipped in chocolate. Especially Steak&Shakes fries.

Mmm...when I was a kid at school I used to eat french fries and chocolate chip cookies together. It was so yummy! I love the salty/sweet combo! I am so intriguied to try chocolate covered bacon. My friends think I'm crazy though! LOL!

You'll have to let me know how that is. I myself dont eat meat, but would love to try chocolate with some veggies. A little chocolate and a lot of veggies goes a long way

The Lounge Anyone in their 20s and never had a real relationship?? Sep 21 2009

20 here and no serious bf or anything. I am going to college but would love to move out of my family's house when im done in a year. My brother is 27 and still lives at home with no thought of moving out and he has not dated in years. Therefore i definitely dont consider myself that off. THat jealously you spoke of, well i dont get jealous of just seeing couples together because i know half of those relationships are either not that serious to begin with or will end at some point. However I have never really met anyone who was truly happy and in love so its hard to say.

Fitness Does anyone NOT workout with music? Jun 27 2009

If im at home ill listen to music or watch tv, but if im outside i dont like using my ipod because then i cant hear if someone comes up behind me or something. I know it may sound like im kind of paranoid but the street i have to run on isnt very busy and i just feel to nervous if i cant hear whats going on around me. Thats a big reason why i hate to workout alone but around here its practically impossible to find a workout buddy.

I actually dropped like 15 pounds my freshman year. I lived on campus so there was more walking, more studying, more fruits/veggies, and less junk food. For my sweet fix of the day, i always treated my self to a luna bar.

The Lounge I need to vent about Jon & Kate Jun 24 2009

I have to say that this whole thing with John and Kate really is irritating. I mean they are only human...and so many people expect these sort of shows to show reality whaen in fact..it only shows you what it wants you to see. I think the whole trouble they have been having with the media is something that they totally brought on themselves. I mean when you sign up to have your lives filmed all the time, you better expect them to want all the dirt. they need to ask themselves if the free tummy tuck, hair plugs, trips, vacations etc.......was really worth what it has done to the family.

I know what you mean

I found that eating low calorie foods in high volumes keep me so much more satisified then wasting all those cals on a slice of pizza or krispy kreme donut. I can eat tons of fruits and veggies mixed in with whole grains and Im still able to fit in a treat during the day. My parents try to say that its just b/c i have a fast metabolism. Yea I wish that were true! If that were the case i would eat as many frosted mini wheats as i wanted in huge amounts and not care. Its all about calories and nutrition though. Smile

Weight Loss The "eat less meat" challange! Jun 21 2009
21:49 (UTC)
10

Well Ive been a vegetarian for about 3 years. I dont eat any meat but I have grown up in a family of meat lovers. There was a time where I could put away a huge pepperoni calzone like it was nothing. I definitely think that people should eat what ever makes them feel healthy and happy about themselves. My reasons for not eating meat started as a pure "diet"/health thing then I started realizing the cost benefits. Now it has evolved into an environment and animal rights thing for me. I personally would not challenge someone to be a vegetarian if they were not committed themselves. I do think its a good ideal to try and eat leaner meats if one is doing it for heath reasons. I have known ppl who are fit, feel great about themselves and eat meat all the time. Its really a choice one has to make for themselves.     &nbs p;

apparently it showed a picture of the little gadget that PETA thought Obama should have used in order to capture the fly and then let it go. Honestly who has time for that.

I don't feel that animals should be mistreated but PETA cares more about animals than they do about human beings!

I was already not a fan but they really ticked me off with the whole issue over the Obama's choice of dog that would not aggravate their daughter's allergies. Now they are tripping about a nasty/pesky fly? Give me a break! To me they are no better than some terrorist organizations! I mean throwing paint on people's fur coats, isn't that distruction of personal property?

lol I care about those furry creatures to, but come on the animal is already dead, and you are pouring paint on the only thing thats left of it.

The Lounge am I that fat that I cant find a boyfriend? Jun 18 2009
15:04 (UTC)

I think It all has to do with confidence and how you carry yourself. I always thought that I never had a boyfriend through highschool because I was overweight. And now that I have lost all that extra weight still no relationships. The one thing that has not changed is my own lack of confidence. I am naturally shy and I have a hard time making eye contact. The sad thing is  I would not even know how to tell if someone was interested. Ive talked to a few people who later told me that they always thought I looked angry because my natural expression isnt really a smile. So many of us focus on the outside and forget to fix the inside as well. Its 3 yrs later and this is just now something I am figuring out.

I love these noodles. The only place  I can buy them around here is earth fare. You definitely have to rinse the noodles well and then just put them in some boiling water for just a couple minutes. I top mine off with a little garlic powder and salsa. yummmm

Well I use to eat whatever I wanted and went back for seconds all the time. But the 2 foods that really stick out in my mind were cereal and poptarts. I would eat Huge bowls of frosted mini wheats or eat like 2 packs of the chocolate poptarts at a time. That was 900 cals and these were snacks for me. Im still shocked by how much I use to eat with out even noticing.
