| Weigh-in for last sunday was 182.2. Gained a little bit, but that's ok. I'm swimming a mile every week now, in addition to taekwondo twice a week. | |||

This is my weigh-in for last week: Weight: 185.5 lbs. I didn't feel well last week, so I didn't exercise a lot. At least my weight didn't go up. |

| I did horrible yesterday. I'm too embarrassed to list what I ate. I had this "it's a holiday" thinking like I needed to celebrate with food. Let the guilt flow! I'm back on track today. Ready for a new year. | |||

Hi Lynn! I don't have MS, but I do have MG (myasthenia gravis). It's a little different, but it is also an autoimmune disorder. I would suggest getting as much Vitamin D as possible (through sunlight or supplements or milk with Vit D added). It is supposed to help with autoimmune disorders (according to Dr. Oz from the Oprah show.) In home walking videos are good because you don't leave home. You don't have to use the bungy cord thing that comes with it. It's also important to stretch. I am fortunate enough to have fought my illness tooth and nail, and can now do taekwondo. I recently found out that I have rheumatoid arthritis as well. I don't have a lot of pain, but instead I have severe fatigue and stiffness. I have to stop and rest quite a bit during my taekwondo class, but that's ok. I just rest and then keep going. I'm also swimming, but if you don't have the means to pay for a health club, that's probably out for you. I get very frustrated at the illness; I know you can relate. And people don't understand. "just get up and do it" is easier said than done. We should form a group for people with muscle diseases or autoimmune diseases. The problems that we deal with are very similar. Sorry, I have no suggestions about sleep. That is not a problem that I have. Would like to add you as a friend if that's ok. Long time on the SSI. My husband's only took 2.5 years. Good luck with that. The good thing is that when you get it, they have to back-pay you! Sara |

| Liosa, could you have alopecia or telogen effluvium? A dermatologist is who you would see for those. Just a thought. I don't know what tests your doctor has done. | |||

| I will be one of your buddies, if you'd like. I'm 42 years old and have 42 more pounds to lose. Several years ago I lost 35 pounds, then a year ago, I found out that I'm diabetic. I don't know if it was rebellion, or what, but since then I have been eating really badly. I've gained most of those pounds back. I joined this website early this week because it's time to get serious again. | |||

| I'm not a massage therapist, but I'm an occupational therapist. Have you tried putting a hot pack on it for 15 minutes prior to rubbing? And you also need to do stretching exercises. | |||

| I'm not on your boat, but I think your boat and my boat are on the same lake. :) I'm already 800+ calories over my daily goal. I just couldn't resist the fried shrimp. Tomorrow I have a doctor's visit, and I'm sure he will be shocked at how much weight I have gained. | |||
