I am going today after work :) Yesterday I was there for an hour and I am SORE today.. I did some of the Nautilus equipment on my arms and now I am hurting! so, I am thinking it will just be a treadmill and bike day!! Keep me posted on how things are.. I need to get back on track with my eating!! UGH |

WOO HOO!! Congrats :) I was beginning to wonder if there was still anyone around :) I just joined a new gym and they FINALLY opened last week. So I have gone 4 times with yesterday kicking my butt!! I am so sore today but ready to go back :) I have about 25-30 pounds to lose.. Its going to be a tough process, but I am ready to start again. I was in a bad place after my surgery but now am finally ready to get back on track! So if any newbies are reading this or anyone that joined before.. Let's roll!!! =)

Surgery went ok, I suppose :) I ended up getting some sort of infection and was out of work for about a month and a half.. But I am all better now :) So thats what matters. 139 IS great!! I wish I was there :) It sounds like you have the right mindset for sure! You do have to live a little. I am not doing as well as I should be.. I am not snacking and eating 3 meals.. I know I lose more when I eat constantly for some reason. I think I am going to edit the post and see if anyone else wants to join us :) |

Hey there! I am here :) haha! I weighed in at 173 yesterday morning. So I have lost 10 pounds since my surgery in October. I want to lose more! =) Its been hard to eat healthy I will tell you that.. But somehow I have still managed to lose weight! I wonder if anyone IS still here?? |

WTG Nicole!! Thats awesome! Your moms dinner sounds REALLLLLLLLY yummy! I dont log my calories all the time here either. I use this group to help me focus :) Tiki-- What is the name of the gym? We have one in this area called Planet Fitness that offers the same deal. The only problem is now its totally overcrowded and you always have to wait for a machine :( BUT its a great price.. I go there too :)

Happy Monday Ladies :0 (Is there such a thing???) LOL! :) I have been out of the loop this weekend I guess. I havent even had a chance to read all the new posts.. but I will get to those hopefully later today. I did see where Amber wants to join.. The group is closed, BUT I say we should let her join :) Anyway, here is my weigh in for today: sw:183 lw:181 cw:179 I CAN NOT believe I have lost 2 pounds! I thought I was really bad last week!!! I have no menu plans for today except for dinner.. 2 pork chops, 2 red potatoes and some broccoli.. Nothing too exciting. I have a doctors appointment at 10am for my pre-op appointment and not so sure if I am coming back to work :) Anyway, I hope everyone had a great weekend and have a GREAT day today! I will go ahead and start posting the new weights now! |

Hey Ladies! I hope everyone is doing well. I went to the Dr yesterday and found out that I DO have to have surgery. So now I am stressing. Yesterday after the Dr, I was feeling REALLY stressed and I went and got a pepperoni pizza and ate FOUR pieces!! It was my lunch and dinner though because it made me super nauseous! Now, I am worried that I am going to get off track -- Stress for me = bad food and/or not eating enough. Any ideas to help me stay on track??? I have no idea what my menu is for today yet. NO pizza though :)

I have no idea what they are going to say, I dont know if they will want to remove it or not, but I am thinking that it has been there for quite some time and thats not normal! I want to say a BIG congrats on everyone here. I think we definetly help motivate each other. I have GOT to get back on track this week. I give everyone kudos for still being here 2 weeks later :) I have a 20 pound goal for next month.. Is it doable?? I doubt it, but in early to mid-October a soldier that I have a "crush" on is coming home. I need 20 pounds gone!! HELP.. LOL

Happy Monday everyone! I was out of town this weekend.. It seems I have missed alot. I can totally sympathize with the lay off situation, I was out of a job from February 07 until November 07! It was tough, and I am STILL playing catch up with bills. Times may get tough, but you WILL get through it, I promise you that! I have NOT been doing good with my calorie counting. It is that TOM for me. Tomorrow I go in for an ultrasound for a very large cyst on my ovary that has been there since November 07. So, I am a bit stressed about that too. Anywho.. the weigh in. I lost nothing, but I didnt gain either. So I suppose thats a plus. Sw: 183 Lw: 181 Cw: 181 I have decided I will post weights in the FIRST message. I will do that tomorrow for sure! I hope everyone has a great Monday and I am hoping I can check back in later today. I am at work and I think I am going to be slammed! Good Luck with your weigh ins!

Hey everyone.. Sorry I have not around the past couple of days. Its been a stressball world for me :) NOT doing good watching what I eat, well yesterday really. I think its ALMOST that TOM, and I am getting sick. So I think that this week is shot for me. BUT that doesnt mean that I am going to screw up what I eat the rest of the weekend. I havent had a chance to post the weights, but I think I am going to wait until next Tuesday. I am going to close the group on Saturday, that way It will just be us regulars and I will start posting the weight. For now, I need to get to work and HOPEFULLY have a chance to get back on later and reply to any posts :) Heres my log for today: Mini Bagel with Peanut butter.... Soup.. Bananas, Yogurt.. Almonds.. Cheese Stick... salad and chicken.

Hey Ladies! I have been a bad bad girl today. Its been a stressful couple of days at work!! I havent been drinking my water today like I should be. I am only on my 2nd bottle. AND for lunch, I had soup and a bag of doritos (one of the 99 cent bags).. Someone on here had me craving them!!! :) I do have the list of members and their weightloss. Please give me your opinion on where or IF you want me to post. I was thinking about editing the very first post and entering the info in there? Or would you all just rather it be posted as we go? Or not at all posted :) Let me know and I hope everyone is doing better than I am today!!

Good Morning! Happy Monday =) Red-- don't feel embarrassed because your mom said something about you counting calories. I agree with Tiki 100% on that! I know how you feel though. Tiki- Tell me how those doritos were because they sure sound good!!!! =) Its ok to have cheat days. Mine was Saturday and I made a plate of nachos and a slice of cake. But I wanted something super bad and come to find out the nachos I made weren't :) They just had some shredded cheese, tomatos and scallions on them and they were darn good! Ok on to my weigh in: Sw: 183 Cw: 181 Gw: 143 So, two pounds down since I started. Not too shabby :) But regardless, even if I didn't lose 2 pounds, I think I would have still been happy. I feel SO much better just eating healthier :) Except for today.. I have been super nausesous since last night and have NO idea why. So needless to say, I am thinking my menu is not going to look so good today. I am not sure what I can stomach. I am thinking a mini toasted bagel for breakfast and soup for lunch. Just super light things. Anywho, good luck with everyone's weigh in today and no matter what the scale says, remember, you are getting HEALTHIER!!!! And thats a start! I'll check back in later.. Sunday evening :) I hope everyone is enjoying the last of their weekend. Just a reminder that tomorrow is our first weigh in. I am excited. I know that even IF I haven't lost anyweight.. I do already feel better. Not putting all of that bad food in my body for the past week has really helped me feel better! Tomorrow at some point, I will get a list of everyone's names and update the first post with weigh in info. Good Morning/Afternoon everyone :) I JUST woke up and its 145 in the afternoon!!! Thats crazy. I never sleep this long and i didnt even do anything last night! Oh well.. Guess my body needed it :) I have no idea what my menu will be today.. Since its so late,I will probably have a weird eating schedule for today. AND today is my cheat day. Happy Friday Everyone!!! Thanks for the info Tiki! So, I wanted to share a "new" food that I came across yesterday. For anyone who has a sweet tooth that won't quit, try Blue Diamond Natural VANILLA Bean or Cinnamon Almonds! Oh YUM!!!! I tried them both yesterday and they totally satisfied my need to snack and my need for sweets. I promise you that you will love them :) My menu is quite boring today as well, the same as the rest of the week. BUT for dinner I am having Chicken Marinara with a big salad. I am hoping that by posting the menus or just something good from our menus that we give others ideas. I am always looking for new low cal and low fat snacks :) Ok, first weigh in on Monday. I think I will leave the group open for another week and see if anyone else wants to join. Yay :) Thanks again to everyone for keeping me motivated!! I was bad last night.. 1627 cals :( All for an extra pork chop!

Ok, so I am REALLY hungry.. Is anyone else having this problem?? I am sitting here at work thinking about food.. Luckily I have lots of low cal/low fat foods here. Let me post what I have had so far to eat: Oatmeal Banana Tuna no mayo Soup Carrots Almonds and Cheese Orange I have been drinking water since 8am, with the exception of some iced tea at lunch. Just wondering you all have any ideas? Or maybe I am just bored at work? :) |

Good Morning everyone :) It's almost Friday.. Yay!!!! :) So, I was thinking that since our first weigh in is Monday that I will close the group on Sunday evening sometime? What do you all think? OR should we keep it open and let anyone who wants to join in can do so? Let me know. Well here is my menu for today.. I think :) It could change a bit Breakfast: Weight Control Oatmeal and a Banana Lunch: Vegetable Beef Soup (or another type of soup) Raspberries Dinner: Baked Pork Chops (1-2) salad with gorgonzola cheese and blueberry pomegranate dressing applesauce Snacks: Almonds with cheese carrots Banana I havent figured out the calories yet, but I am sure its under my 1400.. redsee.. I really do think that they do help. I may be wrong though. Within 3 weeks of taking them, I had lost belly inches as well as inches off of my thighs (according to the woman at the weight loss clinic that is) :) I am going to try them again and see how it works out. I'll keep everyone posted. |

Momofjj.. Well in the past I had GREAT results with the Omega's. I lost inches (in high numbers) as well as weight. Inches more than weight though. From what I understand they do help with inches. The ones I take are from a weight loss clinic I had joined back in March and they have no taste. I take 3 of each Omega-3 and Omega-6. When I did calorie count about a year ago, I got super frustrated. I wasn't losing and I was excercising 5 times a week about an hour a day. So I feel you on that. BUT I think that sometimes we may not be eating enough per day to lose. That can happen. I know with me I am trying to find super low calorie foods.. Lots of veggies and fruits for me. So thats why I am also taking a multivitamin just in case I am not getting enough for my daily intake. I think as long as we stick with it will see results! Hope that helps :) |

Yummy sounding menus for today!! :) Here is mine: Breakfast - Whole Wheat Mini Bagel with Peanut Butter Lunch - 1/2 Chicken tortilla with peppers, onions, tomatos, light chese Dinner - 1/2 Steak with Squash, onions and a salad Snacks: Yogurt, Banana, A few almonds and maybe something else :) I am also starting to take Omega 3 and 6 pills along with a multi-vitamin. I have had luck with the Omega's before.. So we shall see! Hope everyone has a great day |

Ok, well I ended up doing the chicken quesadilla with a Diet Coke. I ate half the quesadilla and brought the other back to work with me. So I figure I am way over my calories, but we will see. I will probably just have a light dinner tonight. everyone's menu looks good today :) Any good dinner ideas?? I want something different to make for tomorrow night. Taybird -- You could always have a cookie as an indulgent snack one day :) Follow it with a glass of water or 2 :)

Welcome to everyone that is signing up today :) Here's my menu as of right now: Breakfast: 1 package oatmeal - Weight Control 1 Breyers Peaches and Cream Yogurt Lunch has me in a dilemma! We are taking to of the ladies from the office to lunch at a place called the Purple Cow. Its a hamburger joint known for great milkshakes! I have no idea what to get. I know that they have HUGE portions of everything. I checked out their salad menu, but really, a salad at a burger joint?? :) Most of their salads have fried chicken strips and no low fat dressings. I was thinking about a chicken quesadilla instead. What do you all think? Or should I go for a burger with no fries? Help!!!!!! =) |
