Hey Jasmine! My daughter is doing well. Thanks! She had surgery in OCT and is still in therapy. She plays volleyball and she tore her ACL. Well when they did the MRI they found out she had NO ACL!!!! So she had to have a graph from her hamstring which is taking her longer to heal. The good thing is that she is exercising with me so it keeps me motivated! I know it's hard to stay focused and get motivated but you can do it!! Lost 5.4lbs so far!!! Yeah!! |

Ok ladies, I am back after...... let's just say it's been too long. I originally started this and fell off the radar. So Sorry!!! Updates: And not all good. 1. I stopped exercising and eating well and have 15 more pounds to show for it. (Bad news) 2. I got divorced. (Good news) 3. My daughter tore her ACL (Bad news) 4. I have a new boyfriend (GREAT NEWS!!) I am hoping that this chain gets moving again. I see alot of people have joined and hoping some of the originals are still here. I have updated my journal and have made several lifestyle changes. THERE IS NO DIETING!!!!!!! Only eating healthy and exercising more!! I have limited my calories to 1400 a day and for the last 4 days have accomplished that. I purchased the Firm WAVE and love it!! For those ladies who don't have a lot of time to exercise ( like me) it is a great asset!! 30 minutes and you work the whole body plus cardio! It's fun too!!! Starting weight was 188.8 Current weight is 184.4 Goal weight is 135. Keep talking ladies!! |

At first the low calorie was very hard!!!!! But I have stocked my freezer with Lean Cuisines!!! I am also trying to eat a lot more protein, but am still lacking on that one. Right now I am only at 762 calories and that was my breakfast, snack and lunch!! Of course, I think part of it is that I only had a smoothie for breakfast. Drinking the water is really helping (Gosh I sound like a broken record!! Water, Water, Water...). It also helps that I really like salads. I will make one the night before for work so I have no excuses for not eating right! As far as the show last night, I agree with Jillian, if the $$ was so important than go back home and go back to work!!! I think the yellow team should have gone home cause the guy was really arrogant about getting to eat!!!! I am also trying to give myself one free meal a week where i can eat something I have been craving and not totally depriving myself. (LOVE MEXICAN!!) Keep up the good work!!! |

Welcome Bama, lajaraco, and jasmine!!! Pick one day a week to weigh-in and post like you see everyone else doing. Miller lost 5 pounds! How great!!!! Anyone watch the Biggest Loser last night? Very shocking!! Usually everyone loses alot in the first week and the second week is a bit slower, but on average these guys were only losing 1 or 2 lbs!!!!!!! And that is with professional trainers!!! So keep in mind that it is not always a continuous loss! Wanna, I weigh myself everyday and everynight. At first I thought I was being obsessive, but I am really curious to see how certain foods affect me and the lack of exercise. This morning I had gained a pound after exercising last night and meeting my calorie intake (1350)! Keep it up everybody!!! |

| current weigh in (1/8/07 tues) 176 last weigh in (1/1/07 tues) 178 total weight loss 2 lbs. Sorry I have been out of the loop. My laptop crashed on me during the weekend and I have spent all day yesterday trying to get it back up and running. Emm great job on the weight loss! Spoiled, You lost weight and quit smoking!!! Great job! Sky...WOW!!! 6.2! You are awesome! PGNC, don't discouraged! you LOST WEIGHT!!!!!!! Everyone is different so don't compare, just keep looking at the numbers going down!!!! To all the new ladies WELCOME!!!!! Don't forget to drink your water!!!! Sometimes when I think I am having a sweet craving, I go and get me a glass of water and realize I was just thirsty!!! Emm and sky are in!! Check back throught the posts for weigh in instructions!! I have added you as buddies and please do the same for me. Kids have kept me busy the last couple of days so I have not been on here like I wanted. We have a huge wrestling match tomorrow and there is always so much junk food at the concession stands! Yuck!!! I am going to take a bag of snacks to tie me over. I have found one of my biggest problems is serving portions. I have been measuring everything out according to the labels and I was shocked at how much I was over estimating!! I like to eat granola cereal and I know it is full of carbs, but it is so good!!! Anyway, I used to pour it in the bowl add milk and eat! I found out that I was eating four sometimes five servings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder my butt is huge!!!!!!!!! So ladies, read those labels and measure your portions!!!! |

irlmonet and cmiller7 welcome!!!!! I think all of us agree that we need as much support as we can get!! I have added both of you as buddies and feel free to do the same with me!!! Look back on a couple of the messages for weighing in weekly. You pick one day of the week!! BTW Ladies, I am going to keep track of the day you put on there so you have to stick to it!! Of course, I need you to make me stick to it as well!! Miller, where is your husband deploying to? I was in the Army for 12 years and was deployed to Iraq for one year. Best thing of that was that I lost so much weight there!!! Of course, when I came back to the states I put on 40 lbs!!! I had to eat all that fast food that I was missing over there! Totally regretting it now!! Managed to stay on the treadmill for 31 minutes today and met my calorie goal!! WOO HOO!!

Good Morning Ladies!!! I am so glad that all of you have joined in this thread! Okay, everyone needs to pick a day of the week that they will do their weekly weigh-in. Whatever day you want. On the message, please put your last weigh-in, your current weigh-in and total weight lost so far! This will be a real quick way for us to be able to be accountable to each other for our progress!! I started on Tuesday, so that will be my weigh-in day. It will look like this... While working out today I was watching the Biggest Loser marathon and I was so motivated by the people on there. All of these people had so much to lose and did it while they were away from their families!! It kept me going on the treadmill! Cardio for 20 minutes and strength training for 30 minutes! Tomorrow will be the tough day as I know I will be so sore from today!! I hope everyone strats the day and Year off by sticking to your goals!! Let us know!!
