It is MT (Melinda) I have not weighed in since 1/28/08. I was ready to give up and I got an email that I was added as a friend. So I logged in to take a look. Wow, I am so proud of all of you. I have been re-motivated to get back on board. Thanks for sharing and welcome to all of those that have joined since 1/28. I am nervous about weighing I know I have gained but I promise to weigh in on Monday. Being a stay at home mom by day and a college student at night I eat way to much fast food. I have picked up sweet tea and sodas again. I will have to get back on track with the water. I have continued to exercise some even though I was not counting calories. I was weighing everyday and that was a emotional roller coaster for me. I am only going to weigh on Mondays this time. Another thing I did wrong was reward myself with food when I had a good weight lose. I started out with a small portion. Thinking that it would be okay and I could handle it but that was my food addiction decieving me. I am a food addict I can not stop with a small portion. Sure I can hold out for a while but if I give in a little it always leads to a lot in the near future. I most find other ways to reward myself and I most learn to plan my meals. Wow, I am usally the wordy. Thanks to all and good luck on Monday's weigh in. |

It's Monday. I made a lot of bad decisions this week when it came to food but I did get in all the exercise I had planed so I still saw the scales drop. I am very thankful for that!! I have been weighing everyday I think I am going to stop that it is a roller coaster ride. My weight varies by up to two pounds from one day to the next. I may have to invest in some new scales. Starting weight: 237 Last week: 231 This week: 229 Total: 8 lbs. MT |

Hello everybody, I have been using my snacks to get in my fruits and veggies. I like the dole fruit cups or other fresh fruit. I also like to snack on butter snap pretzels they are yummy. They are Snyder's brand and they have a little more flavor than regular pretzels. Start weight 237 Last week 234 This week 231 Yeah!! I am happy with my progress. I did walk three times last week and went to the gym this morning. I am looking forward to seeing how everyone else has done. This site is such a motivation for me. Good Luck to ALL! |

Starting weight/date: 237.5 lbs 12/31/07 Weiged today 1/1/07: 236 lbs Age: 37 I need support. I am the heaviest I have been and seem to be getting more depressed about it each day. I use to love to exercise but since the increase in my weight it is painful and that just makes me furious with myself and makes it hard to stay motivated. another challenge is I don't eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Looking forward to sharing this experience with people who can relate to the challenge I am facing. All things are possible. MRT |
