Hi there everyone, I originally joined the bikini club but had to drop out as I became pregnant. Only three months to go now and i'm getting quite a bump! I am very pleased as although 6 months pregnant I have still only gained 6 pounds so far. I lost 7 pounds in the 1st trimester due to morning sickness, but that subsided around 17 weeks and so have been eating a lot better since then. I am trying hard to eat healthily, i'm getting shocking indigestion so that is actually stopping me from splurging on fatty stuff ( so although uncomfortable its probably just as well I have it!) Birthday tomorrow ( happy birthday to all fellow July 19 -ers) and hubby is cooking me a meal but he is taking me away to France for a couple of days next week so i'm really looking forward to that. What are others doing to celebrate their July 19th? Have a great day everyone x |

I don't post here very often, but I lurk daily... I just wanted to say well done Molly, you truly are an inspiration, 85 pounds over 6 months is brilliant girl! I wish I could have seen your doctors face when she saw you.. I have had to put my diet on hold for a while because I am pregnant ( major shock!) but I am still reading this board daily and logging my foods at maintenance to keep track so that I dont go too crazy food wise!! I had lost nearly 40 pounds, and i'm terrified i'll pile it all back on.. |

Hi everyone, I just found out i'm pregnant last week, i'm 5 weeks. I'm 37 and it will be my first baby.It wasn't planned as I have several health problems including a blood clot on the brain and so we weren't gonna start trying until we got a clear MRI and i'd lost more weight, however even though we know it won't be the easiest pregnancy, we are both very happy. What is everyone eating for their calorie intake? maintanance or above? |

Hi All, Well, I had a BIG suprise today, found out that i'm pregnant... bit of a panic as I'm taking warfarin for my thrombosis so had to get medical advice asap, I have now been switched to a different anticoagulant and I will have to inject myself everyday for the term of the pregnancy. I'm still in shock..but happy.. So, no more weight loss for a while, but I will continue to log everything to keep to maintenance cals, and pop in here from time to time.. |

| Evenings are my 'hungry' times too, I try to make sure I keep a few hundred cals back for then and try to snack healthily, fruit, dried fruit, cereals, low fat hummus & veg sticks or fat free crackers etc. Also drink water.. | |||

| I use lentils a lot, so useful to up your fibre, I add them in lot's of things, curries, stews, soups - yummy and filling. | |||

Well done fauker1!! great stuff... I was so happy about the 200lb thing that I forgot to put the stats! Starting Weight: 238lbs - Dec 06 (starting weight this challenge: 204lbs) Weight last week: 201lbs (2/4) Weight this week: 199lbs Loss this week : 2lbs Total loss: 39lbs (5lbs on this challenge) I have been so good today *polishes halo* after dropping the in-laws off at the railway station and taking my lovely hubby to work I got straight on the exercise bike when I got in and done 15 minutes, then made a wonderful lunch of jacket potato with prawns and a huge salad, yummmm. It has been a beautiful day here today, cold and frosty first thing and then blue skies and sunshine all day, so this afternoon I went for a nice walk in the sunshine ofr 30 mins and I really enjoyed it! I used to hate walking on my own as I use a walking stick when I don't have my hubby's arm to hold, but i'm so glad I made the effort. I have just made a lovely chicken broth with yesterdays leftovers which I will have for my dinner. Hope everyone had a fab weekend..

The biggest loser - they show that in the U.K too...I think 10 pounds in a week is totally unrealistic!! and sets people who watch up with unrealistic expectations for when they diet and exercise. They so must be losing muscle too.. as most of us know excess dieting means our body starts to eat muscle for energy... oooo i'm ranting aren't I? LOL It just said on the news about Tornado's in Southern USA... you all okay? |

Pancake day today ...oh how I love pancakes (preferably drizzled with chocolate sauce and covered in whipped cream) *sigh* I can breath a sigh of relief today as i've finally finished and submitted my open university assignment....now i'll just be worrying if i've passed it! Me and and the hubby went to watch a Rugby match in Exeter ( Exeter is the county city of Devon in the south west of England) last night, it was very cold, very windy and very wet.. bbrrrr It took me hours to warm up last night when we got home!! |

Morning all, it's morning in England - so that means weigh time... My weight this morning is *drumroll* 201 and 3/4 lbs A loss of 2 and 1/4 pounds *dances round room* So happy about this as ive been plateau -ing for a few months |

Just had a lovely dinner, a scrummy chicken stir fry, with lots of green yellow and red veggies and free range chicken breast, and I discovered 'blue dragon' oyster and spring onion sauce - 70 cals for the whole packet and virtually fat free (serves two in a stir fry) It was yum! V. pleases cos I managed 40 mins on the bike today instead of my usual 30 mins, roll on the fitness challenge!! I know a lot of you guys are used to snow, but it is fairly rare here in England and it's been snowing today with more forecast for tonight yaaaaayy, I love it!! |

I have been buying a lot of prawns (shrimps to you guys!) lately, they have been on offer half price so I buy bags of them to freeze. They are great in stir frys or curries, and lovely as a filling in a jacket potato with some fat free dressing. Yum.... |

Hi all, Hope it's all going well for everyone.. my lovely husband bought me an exercise bike a fornight ago and I have started a gentle regime, I do 2x15 mins a day with 2 days off a week. It's been ok, i'm feeling better for it. Hopefully the scales eill look better for it too!! Am I the only British one in this group? *waves from across the pond* |

I have some health problems so I can't exercise too madly, but hubby bought me an exercise bike and i've been doing 30 mins a day ( split into two 15's) 6 days a week. Diet wise i'm on 1400 A day, i've already lost 35 lbs, and have around 50 lbs to go... struggling at the moment as I seem to have reached a plateau, but i'm hoping the exercise will help shift the weight again... |

I was on the pill then in November 2006 I was rushed into hospital and they discovered a blood clot on my brain. Over a year on it's still there, and i'm lucky to be alive. The reasons given for the clot? a combination of the pill and being overweight= increased rick of thrombosis. |
