AWE HAVE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME STATS BUT I CAN GUARNTEE IM JUST AS STUBBORN AS YOU ARE HUN BUT HANG IN THERE IM EATTING 2000 right now well for 1.5 days thus far. thanks to arugskin haha

i know i never post im sorry but im so sick with the flu/chest congestion/cough and my throat is killin me and im coughin up mucus nasty... i need tome calorie ideas... and no milk b/c it does NOT help my chest and cough at ALL... i have no appetite for anything and everything i eat tastes "off" and like bleh anyways im eatting a sleeve of saltines b/c they get mushy im my mouth and easy to swallow(and i HATE carbs lol)
so any ideas for non milky/creamy stuff i can eat?!??!?!

And a part of me is also scared of what happens after recovery. Will I keep on gaining? Will I be still obsessed with calories? Will my life ever be normal again?
i 100% agree with this statement!!!!!!!!!!! its like pushing me harder to recover but holds me back at the same time!!!

ok i have the same stats as you except im 22....and did the same **** with the nutritionist telling me to eat 1500-1800 cals a day to gain... if you want to eat that and have to maintain your weight WAY under those numbers you whole life go for it... but i can TELL YOU increasing makes it much better(THANKS TO ARGUSKIN!) ... if you are getting "BLOATED" so you say on 1050 cals your not eatting the right foods im sorry but if you put 2 tblsp of PB on 2 pieces of higher cal bred thats 300 cals and 200 for PB you have 500 cals right there and barely any bloat... go about gaining the right way please its for the better |

that is such a powerful question... when i think about it i consider what control over my life i have and what to veer it towards to make a workable life... - im starting to become OCD on my schoolwork and my job... i WANT to recover, i want friends i want a period i want a family a husband i want my parents to be happy and not worry about me i want to be FREE,,,, all that in a nutshell is wanting to recover but most of all i WANT ME back, it starts with me and being willing and arugskin you do the best job of helping people see that, your a school psychologist correct? i bet you are amazing at your job, you have helped me so much! |

ketosis takes as long to enter as your body takes to burn up the carbs in your body... so like if you carb overload and THEN start atkins it can take a couple days to burn off all the suagr and starch |

people will debate all day about the low carb life... the point of it is eat real food and cut out processed crap food. nothing on the atkins diet is bad for you i know for a fact it works and it preserves muscle. i had no bowel problems you speak of they were in tip top shape i might say, i was healthy i took a multivitamin and could easily run 5 miles a day and lift weights
cutting back fast and going low calrie is how i wound up with AN and am recovering now |

oww i like this lemme in LOVE: Chicken, turkey, ham, tuna steak, shark, CRAB, ALL cheese, cottage cheese, milk, eggs, garlicy things, southwest spiced meat, green beans, zucchini, all squash, pumpkin, anything grilled, burgers, hot dogs(ALL beef or angus beef), BROCCOL!, mushrooms stuffed, GREENS I LOVE GREENS, fried cabbage, pistachios, almonds, cashews haha oh yeah PEANUT BUTTER and pork chops, tomatoes.... pretty much anything from the garden or killed on a farm i LOVE LIKE: wheat wraps, peaches/strawberries/berries, chickpeas, yogurt, bacon sometimes, cream cheese, milk, ice cream, meatballs, sweet potatoes, hummus, toast but im picky, butter, oatmeal.cream of wheat, pizza, pickles, ranch sour cream dip, cinnamon, steak sometimes, granola bars maybe i dunno the last time i had one tho, hmmm gravy HATE: marshmallows(oranything like them), sugary stuff, rice/pasta/pastries, most all baked goods, cakes/desserts, processed crap, flour, starch haha i cant not stand how i feel when i touch unreal food if you cant tell, popcorn, I HATE BAR B QUE THINGS, macadamia nuts, pudding, fries, chips, crackers, poptarts, oranges or any citrusy fruit, ice tea, watermelon, bagels, oysters, scallops, dried fruit, apples(cant stand them after eatting them for 2 yrs straight), FAKE MEAT, immitation food, tofu things whatever it is, soy stuff, beans other than chick peas(i cant take the texture), peas, chili, jambalaya, liver, red beans & rice, poppin johns, greasy food, rich dishes, alfredo sauce, sloppy joes
just came to the conclusion i am a PICKY eatter, haha |

my biggest feeling to happiness comes when im with otehr people. i have a huge desire to make people happy and when others are happy im happy, i like to see people in good moods. i have a strong passion to do for others... maybe not concentrate on yourself so much but go help someone or make someones day a couple times... it makes you feel like a great person! just my 2 cents |

the SAME THINGGGGGGG has been happening to be and ive been actively gaining weight too in recovery!!!!!!! i have no idea what it is i keep my blood sugar in check ALwyas so it doesnt swing around i have no idea...someone on here told me it might be electrolytes or dehydration... maybe check that out? |

k im back... had to altar serve this morning.. well im eatting more thats for sure but i need to start spreading it out during the day... im not eatting the same foods everyday or really repeating things besides like cheese or cottage cheese or the obvious stuff people use most days... i hope im gaining i stopped weight myself but i can see me getting bigger lol some days its not as watery as others i guess thats just digestion and how it works... i have like ED mindset all day i dunno why then at like 10pm im like FU*(@^$@ i need to get these cals in and ya know i was thinking if i would just eat a normal way all day i wouldnt even have to think about it at night nor would i really even have to worry about gaining... i hate allotting blah blah for this time this time this time, and being a mechanical freak... but i dont get hungry and when i crave something then i have it at my next meal and lemme say its ALWAYS CHEESE i can eat cheese all day long lol mozzarella, sharp cheddar melted velveeta i love it all the best choice ive made is not repeating ANY food or meal unless its leftover dinner for lunch(which i use to NEVER DO) it was the hardest thing ive done but the body gets use to processing the SAME food day in and day out and the nutrients arent used as efficiently so if i have eggs with cheese and ham for brekkie one day itll be a BLT the next mornin and if i have a chicken samich of lunch itll be ham and cheese the next day... same with nuts if i do almonds one day ill do pistachios the next... whether i want it or not im trying to have a HUGE variety

New Year's Drink: diet sunkist with melon bacardi!!!!!! Valentine's Day Treat: do roses count!>><<!? or please grill be filet mignon haha St. Patrick's Irish Bread or Stew: uh.... didnt know food was big this day i though it was green beer! Easter Dinner Dish: yummmm HAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM 4th of July American Cuisine: definitely burgers and dogs or anything being grilled that day... strawberries/blueberries to be festive! Halloween Candy: nada but i wish they handed out mixed nuts when i was a kid! Thanksgiving Side Dish: green beans cooked in ham hock(sp?) and butter Christmas Treat: when my brothers are home from war :) annndd.... TURKEY! |

apples... i ate a HUGE apple every single day for like 1.5 yrs when i was anorexic(now recovering) i never want to have to eat one plain again bleh... some other fruits soo anything low fat or fat free most bread/potato/anything starchy plain salads or meals of salad(even tho you can mae em like 1000 cals in a sitting, its still a salad) anything fake or not REAL food |

yes arug i have... and i gota thank YOU for it... you and tuufstuff have been my true motivators,.....as much as i dont post on here i do keep up and read i just work 50+ hours a week AND take 2 college classes to finally get my degree and it is like taking up ALL my time... ill post when i gte back from church this morning but i am still running into the gettin cals in a t night deal and it annoys we cuz i go to bed bloated ANDD wake up bloated which isnt helping with the whole eatting more thing but i have been!!

i second high fat DOES NOT lead to high cholesterol.... it does lower it you need cholesterol to manage cholesterol on the carbs deal... i dont really eat them much at all, but i will however sit down and eat and entire______(insert any animal/nut here) hahaha ill also chow down all ____(insert any veggie) cooked in butter/cheese only usually eat the skin if i have to eat a potato with ketchup... dont really eat much bread unless again i have to and dont do rice/pasta junk its not real food to me
ps- i prolly wasnt much help on the "you need them" but if you eat up the other stuff a lot you really dont |

well it was ammmmazingly tasty guys haha i got the steamed platter with baked potato and broccolli with cheese the shrimp was YUMMY, the crabs were DELICIOUS, and the steamed oysters... ehhh take em or leave em at least i can say ive tried em! and i got 1/2 of my brothers crab cake(we traded shrimp for some of his crab cake) then i found out i SHOULD have got the crab cakes they were soooooo goood.... but all in all its a YUMMY place! haha sounds like i wrote a review.... oh and the "steamed broccolli with cheese" it was RAW brocolli with cheese haha it was crunchy! |
