Hi everyone! I am really trying to make it on here but it has been a struggle lately. I am hoping that summer will help with not having to take the kids to school. I used to do this first thing in the am and plan my day. I have been going to the gym and trying my best to limit the calories I take in but even that has been hard to be consistent. It has been hard to get a routine down with everyone's schedules and trying to build up business but I am working on it. Watching the Biggest Loser finale helped motivate me because I want to finally lose all of my weight so I can eat a normal amount of calories and just to feel good and healthy. :) I haven't weighed myself in a few days but I had gotten back up to 227 but was down to 225 the other day so at least I am moving in the right direction again and hopefully for good.

Jasmine: Congrats on getting into the 180s!

Pattycov: I usually enter each ingredient (I just learned something new and cool from Jasmine) for the most part. Sometimes if I make something like cookies I will look up something similar and see if the calories sound close and select that. Especially if there are a ton of ingredients. But, then you risk going over your calories so I try not to do it too often. sidenote: Cooking Light has great recipes and they include the calorie count, etc with the recipe. :)

Okay, so tomorrow is my weigh in day and I have a field trip to go to so I may not be on tomorrow. But, I will be on Thursday then. I hope. :)

Talk to you soon and keep up the good work

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. I am sorry I have been MIA for the last couple of weeks. I have been so busy trying to do stuff for the school, the business, and the kids I haven't had time to even think about entering calories. I really do need to make the time though because I eat so badly when I am not keeping track of it. I haven't weighed myself recently because I don't want to know what has happened over the last couple of weeks. I will have to weigh on Wednesday though so I better start talking myself into it now. :) I have to go pick up my daughter but I wanted to check in really quick and see how everyone is doing. I hope you are all doing great!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. Good here. It's weigh in day so here goes:

Last week: 223

This week: 222.8

LOL - .02lbs but at least it is in the right direction - especially with Easter candy all over the place. :) I haven't been so great about working out because of business stuff but I have been trying to cut calories at a minimum by 500 and it seems to be helping - just not as fast as I would like so I want to step it up when I officially open my doors. Hopefully, I will be able to create a more regular schedule that way. :) I have to get going.

Jasmine: Congrats on your weight loss!

Keep up the good work everyone!

Hi, I'm here still - I forgot to weigh in yesterday. It's been busy with the business and all. I don't have long to post because we're off to Brady's first t-ball game. But I did want to check in.

Last week: 225.8

This week: 223

Yay! 2.8lbs back in the right direction!

trixie - hang in there - having been a military wife I know how it is to start over and not have anyone around you know. It will get better. I am on facebook let me know how and I will add you :)

Welcome Safina!

Jasmine: I ripped the belt loops on my favorite jeans (a great sign to get back to the gym, huh?) LOL :) We're back at it now so it will get better. I am sorry you are having to go through all of that with the allergies and surgery.

Well, I have to get going but I will try to get back here tomorrow. Talk to you soon - keep up the good work!

I wanted you to know that I am praying for you. Praying that you are able to love yourself and let others in and realize that you are more than a number on a scale and that you deserve just as much happiness and healthiness as the next person. It sounds like you are off to a great start and I will be praying for you!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. Good here. I have been working out at home this week. Sticking to my calories has been tough but I am working on it. Well, it's weigh in day so here goes...

Not sure what last week was but this week I am at 225.8. I can't wait to see that number get lower. :)

Have a great day and keep up the good work!

Hi everyone! I am glad to see you all back and to be back myself. I have been slowly putting weight back on and it needs to stop. I tried putting my new favorite jeans on the other day and it was not pretty. I am so ready to turn that back around. I don't even want to weigh myself but the other day I was at 225 so I have put 16 pounds on since my lowest weight of 209. I am hoping that Spring will help motivate me to get back at it. Although, it's snowing here again today, soon it will actually look like Spring. :) I really got away from calorie counting and with my hubby home and starting a business I have pushed the gym to the side. I have realized though how much better I feel (energy, etc.) when I am exercising and eating right. I am so glad all of you are back and we can help motivate each other.

Hatcher - Sorry to hear about your daughter. I will keep her in my prayers. Also, congrats on the new man! ;)

Jasmine: I am sorry you having to go through so much with your allergies and meds. I will keep you in my prayers as well.

Trixie - Congrats on your move. Glad to see you back here. :)

I will keep my weigh in day as Wednesdays.

Great to see you all here - Good luck today and keep it up!

Hi everyone! Is anyone still out there? Sorry I have been gone so long. My hubby came home and I have been trying to start up a business and I have been so busy. I really do need to figure out a way to get back to what I was doing before because I am way off track. I weighed myself this morning and I was back up to 223! I am so mad at myself for letting myself get back that high. I have been very sporatic about exercising and my eating habits have been horrible. So I am back for good hopefully this time. I really want to get the rest of this weight off. I used to feel comfortable in my clothes and fit and healthy and now I am back to feeling my roll hang over my jeans (ugh!) and I am worried if this keeps up I will have to go back up a size! That would really stink. So, here goes. Back to it. Hopefully with the weather getting warmer I will be more motivated. Wish me luck. :) Hope everyone is doing good.

Lisa: I am a recovering Coca Cola addict and I drink/love Pepsi One and now I don't even like the taste of Coke (I know - it's hard to imagine not liking it anymore). Welcome!

Jasmine: Good to hear you are feeling better.

Hi everyone! I hope everybody is doing good. Sorry, I have been M.I.A.. The holidays were busy and time just flew by. So did the calories unfortunately. But, the kids started back to school this week and I am hoping that will get me back on track. Yesterday was my weigh in day so here goes:

Week before last: 215.6

This week: 216.8

Gain: 1.2 (darn it)

I ate way too many bad things and it caught up with me. So, I will just have to work harder to get it back off. My hubby comes home next week and I am hoping that he will want to get up and go too so I am not tempted to hang out on the couch with him. We'll see. Wish me luck.

Jasmine: Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well. I know you'll be back to it in no time. Hope you are better soon!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everybody in case I don'tget a chance to get online tomorrow. I'd weigh in too but I am hoping I wear off those weekend cookies by tomorrow. :) I ran 6mi yesterday which is my farthest run so I was excited about that and I worked out today for an hour so hopefully it works. :) I have to get going to do more baking. :( Keep up the good work everybody!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing good! Good here - I think that with the exception of being so busy with the holidays I am getting back on track so I feel good. It may not be reflecting on the scale but I just feel better and I have been working out and watching my calories so that must mean something right? Well, today is weigh in day so here goes...

Last week 215.8

This week: 215.6

Loss: 0.2lbs (not much but I will take it - plus my body fat went down a bit and muscle went up so at least it's all moving in the right direction. :)  ).

Jasmine - Way to go! Good work!

Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone! It's weigh in day so here goes:

Last week: 217.8

This Week: 215.8

Loss: 2lbs

I didn't do anything to deserve losing two pounds, but I lucked out and here it is. I thought it might be because I lost muscle and gained fat but my BF percentage went down too. However it worked out, I will take it. I have to get up and get moving again. I have been struggling with the weather being so cold - it makes me want to stay in an hibernate.  Also, my daughter broke her finger and now on top of going to the school three times a day we have physical therapy appointments to add to the mix. But, I am hoping once I get moving I will be able to get back my momentum. I hope everyone is doing good. :) Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a good holiday and is bracing themselves for the upcoming ones. :) Sorry I didn't post yesterday (weigh in day) but I have had the stomach flu and then my son had it so it's not been fun around here. Thanksgiving went good though - we had a nice break between Beau being sick and then me getting sick. Just long enough to eat WAY too much. So, needless to say I gained some weight and then of course managed to lose some of it back (never thought I'd be happy I got the stomach flu). I am finally starting to feel better today but I am having a hard time talking myself into doing my workout. I think it must be the cold weather. It always makes me want to curl up and watch it snow. :) Hopefully I will talk myself into it though. :) Well, enough stalling - here goes:

Last week: 215.8

This week: 217.8

Gain: 2 :(

Not too bad for Thanksgiving I guess but still kind of mad at myself for letting go on T-day. Oh well, back to it, right?

I hope everyone is doing good. Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA - I had a newsletter deadline and I am holding Thanksgiving here this year so I have been getting ready for that. Well, it's weigh in day so here goes:

Last week: 217.2

This week: 215.8

Loss: 1.4

I was hoping for bigger numbers but at least I am going in the right direction and I am gaining muscle and losing body fat. So that is good. :) I plan to work out tomorrow am before My Sis comes down so I won't have to feel so guilty about eating. I am hoping that - and moderation will keep me on track. :)

Jasmine: I know what you mean. I managed to stay in my pants size but it isn't pretty. :) Also, I am just reminded of how it felt to be out of shape and sluggish and all the bad stuff that comes with being out of shape and overweight - like feeling uncomfortable in your own clothes and feeling the rolls. Ugh! Let's not go back there. If we can make it through the holidays, we can do anything right?

Wannabefitter: hope you are still on track and everything is going good. If not, it's okay, it's never too late to get back to it. :)

I hope everything has a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Talk to you soon and keep up the good work!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is getting back on track - I know I am sure trying. :) I managed to run 4 miles yesterday again for the first time since before my hubby came home. My daughter even joined me. She just turned 7 and she really wanted work out clothes for her b-day so she could run with me. I figured it would be okay. I ran with my dad when I was little and she seemed to have a good time. She actually ran 1.8 miles which I thought was pretty good. Then I took her back to the child watch and finished mine. She wants an ipod now too. :) It's nice that she wants to do that and it gives me a way to spend time alone with her since I am usually so wrapped up with taking care of Beau (19 mos.). Okay, I will quit stalling - it's weigh in day for me today. I really had these grand plans to be at 215 by today, but no such luck. Birthday cake didn't help. :( So here goes:

Last week: 219

This week: 217.2

loss: 1.8lbs

My body fat went down and muscle went up so at least everything is heading in the right direction again. :)

I have to get going - dr. appt. I hope everyone is doing great - talk to you soon!

Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone! It looks like it's been a little while since anyone has posted but hopefully we'll get back to it. Sorry for my long absence it got so crazy around here when the kids started school with having to go to the school three times a day and working on the school newsletter and having Beau. It was hard to balance everything so I let CC slide thinking I "had an idea of how much I could eat and stay in my calories" - wrong! Add to that a sinus infection and my hubby coming home for 2 weeks to visit and here I am 10lbs heavier! UGH! I am SO mad at myself for letting that happen. Right before he came home I was all excited for him to see me because I was at my lightest weight since having the kids (209!) and lowest body fat (35.3). So, now I have to get going and work that back off. I got back to my run today and it was tough but I managed 3.38 miles before I had to go pick up my daughter (not that I could have gone much farther anyway - seriously, I was dying!). Oh well, moving forward and hopefully downward. :) Hope to see you guys back here! Keep at it and have a great week!

Hi everyone! Sorry, I have been so busy with back to school and playdates I  forgot to weigh in on Wednesday and almost forgot again today! Well, here goes:

Last week: 212.00

This week: 211.4

Loss: 0.6lbs -

Total since August 2007: 68.6lbs (Come on 70lbs - so close!)

I will take it - at least I am still moving in the right direction. :) Although, I took the kids to Red Robin while school shopping today as a back to school treat so that may change. But, I bought my first pair of size 16 shorts in a long time! They aren't baggy or anything but they aren't uncomfortable either. They are cute too and they were half off - so it was a good day today. :) Yay! I hope everyone is doing good!

Welcome back Trixie! The important thing is that you are continuing on and getting back on track! Keep at it! :)

m_borja: Welcome! We just pick a day we like and (try) to weigh in on the same day every week. Everyone has a different one so go with what is best for you. :) We're here for you - you can do this!

Hope you all have a great weekend! Keep up the good work!

Hi guys! I missed you! I was getting a little lonely. :) I forgot to weigh in yesterday so here goes:

Last week: 213.4

This week: 212.00

Loss: 1.4lbs

Total loss since Aug '07: 68lbs! Yay! Almost to 70 - come on 70 already! :) At least I am heading in the right direction again. Whew!

shayna: I am glad you had a good time on your cruise! Welcome back! A chocolate buffet? I would SO be in trouble! Denver is beautiful. We live just outside of Denver and today I was out with the kids around that twilight time and it was so nice to just watch them play and relax. Tell your Mom congratulations! That is awesome! I did the walk here in Denver and it made me cry to see how many women are affected and therefore the people around them. Good to hear you are back on track - I think you did pretty well for all of that travel and considering the chocolate buffet! :) Thanks for the support!

ka2007: Great job on your loss! Wow! Send a little of that vibe my way please! :)

Keep up the great work guys! Hope you have a great rest of the week!

Where is everyone? Come on girls! Don't give up now - we've all come too far! We got this! I hope everyone is doing okay. Good here. Although apparently my plateau is alive and well. I pulled an all nighter last night working on the newsletter for Ella's school which with me usually involes really bad snacking so I was surprised it wasn't worse. I have been bad - I admit it. I am still working out and even swimming some (but I hope to start being able to go more frequently). Also, Friday, My Sis and I got to have girl's night out because our gym does this parent's nite out thing. We had so much fun! We went to an Improv place and had a yummy dinner. But, I had a margarita and I bet those have a ton of calories. We had appetizers before the show too so I did really bad. Other than those slip-ups I am pretty much back on track though. I have been making a lot of the Cooking Light recipes and I have been trying to visualize the number 210 in my head so I can get past this but so far nada. :) Oh well, it's weigh in day so here goes...

Last week: 212.6

This week: 213.4

Gain: (darn it) 0.08lbs

But, on a positive note I lost 0.2 more percent Body Fat and gained 0.1 percent more muscle. So, at least that's heading in the right direction. :) Well, I really hope everyone is doing good and still working hard. I miss all of you and hope to hear from you soon! Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone! Sorry - I almost forgot to weigh in. Here goes...

Last week: 216

This Week: 212.6

Loss: 3.4lbs! Yay!

Total since August: 67.4

So things seem to be moving in the right direction again, thank goodness! I was starting to get a little frustrated with the yo-yo thing. Hopefully this was the last of it. :) Beau has been running a fever so I wasn't able to swim yesterday or run today but, I stayed here and did the Exercise tv on On Demand thing and I tried Jillian's 30 day shred, level two because level one isn't available anymore. Boy, she is evil (in  good way). I hope I don't drown tomorrow because I can't move my arms. :) I might have to get that video. She makes you work hard! The idea is to get the most out of a 20 minute workout and she is successful. So if anyone is looking for a change in their workout this is a good one! Well, I am beat, so I am going to hit the hay! I hope everyone is doing good! Keep up the good work!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. Good here - it's weigh in day and that is not good, darn it. Oh well, motivation for next week I guess. Well, here are the numbers:

Last week: 214.6

This week: 216 :(

Gain: 1.4lbs

Darn it! I am hoping it's related to that time of the month (pretty please) but I didn't eat so good yesterday (out running around - I am so bad when I eat out) and when I weighed myself yesterday I was at 213 so I am guessing it was more bad habit than monthly occurance. Well, I will just have to work harder this week. I really want to be below 200 before Chris comes home (thinking positively) in August. That would be great - but now I will have to work that much harder. Shoot! :)

jasmine: good job on your loss! Krispy Kremes are the only doughnuts I like. They are SO good! Luckily I have no idea if there is one near here and I hope to keep it that way. It's bad enough that there are two Dairy Queens, two Cold Stones, and three Cinnabons! :/

I hope everyone is doing good. Keep up the good work guys!

Congrats! Way to go! You SHOULD be proud of yourself - you have earned it and I know from experience that it wasn't easy. I have to admit I envy you - I started out at 280 and am trying to get to 152 (128lb loss). I just reached my halfway point and your post is a total inspiration to keep going! Thank you! I love the progression photos. I wish I had done that - but to be honest I didn't want a camera anywhere near me at the time but now I sort of regret that. It would help to remind me not to get back on the wrong track again. I would love to hear more about how you did it too - I can always use more pointers. :) Great job! Way to go!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is doing good - good here. Today is weigh in day so here goes:

Last week: 215.8

This week: 214.6

Loss: 1.2lbs

Total since August: 65.4lbs

I haven't been so good about maintaining my calorie deficit on non-gym days so I am not surprised. I am just so darn hungry on those days which makes !1330 calories difficult to stick to. Oh well, I will just have to keep at it. :)

jasmine: Why is it the tummy is always the last to go, dang it!? You might be right about gaining muscle - keep at it - it will even out. :) Maybe I should demolish our kitchen too - I could use a little help in the willpower dept. right now. :)

Hope everyone has a good day today! Keep up the good work!

Hey everbody! I hope everyone is doing good! Good here! I ran my four miles today and only had to stop once! Yay! I've been a little munchy lately but I am really hoping it's a pms thing and that it will pass (quickly, please). :)

jasmine: Thanks so much! I had a great birthday. They are a little tough when Chris isn't here. But, he is thinking he might be able to come home in Aug (cross your fingers). I found a really good Thai place and had a Thai iced tea. A little dangerous that it is so close by though. :) Then I met my Sis for dinner and had a margerita and it was SO good. :) Yay! You are working so hard on your house - that has got to be burning some major calories. Keep up the good work!

wannabefitter: Welcome back! I was really worried about you! I am glad to hear that you want to get back on track - that is half the battle. It is tough to get going again (it was hard after that week the kids and I were sick) but once you do you will be so proud of yourself and it will all fall in line again for you. You can do it! Kinda like swimming - you just have to jump in because if you think too much about it you will psych yourself out. Go girl! You got this!

Hope everyone has a great day! Keep up the good work!

Last week: 216

This week: 215.8

Loss: 0.2 (but I will take it!)

I am getting back on track finally with my workouts. I still have to walk a couple of times during my run but at least I am back up to 4 miles. Yay. I thought I was going to have to start all over. I am really glad I weighed in already today because it's my birthday and I'm going to Cold Stone and Thai food and I bet tomorrow won't be so pretty! :)

Jasmine: Breathing is much easier, thanks! Yard work = hard work for sure - I bet it will show on Friday!

I hope everyone is doing good! Keep up the great work and have a good day!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing good - good here. Just getting over being sick. It started out as a simple congestion and yuckiness thing and then when all of us started feeling better finally we got a stomack bug. Ugh! It was awful. The good news is that I managed to lose weight without working out because I didn't want to eat. The bad news is that I didn't work out. But, I was back at it today and boy I have to tell you - I sucked! I could barely run a mile much less 4! it was so awful. I could barely breathe. Oh well, I guess I just have to work my way back up to it darn it. Well, it's weigh in day so here goes:

Last week: 217.8

This week: 216 (got down to 214 darn it but when I was able to drink and eat I put those two pounds right back on. Still, happy to have any loss.)

Total since August: 64lbs! I am officially half way there. Oh! Also, I moved from the "Obese" to the "moderately overweight" category - yay - finally!

Jasmine: There is something to be said about maintaining - it's still a lot of work! Hope your allergies are better.

Shayna: Great job on your loss - I hope you will still check in with us even with your new hot self. :) Your summer sounds a lot like mine (only hotter I am sure). We start swim lessons at the end of June and the kids are so excited (but my babies are growing up so fast :(  ). Sorry to hear you were sick as well. I have decided that at least it's good we got it out of the way right off the bat. Now hopefully this will be it for the summer. :)

Have a great day everyone (btw - where is everybody? I am worried about all of us losing focus over the summer - so keep at it. :) We can do it!

Good morning everyone! Sorry I have been MIA - It's been hectic with the last day of school on Fri and I had girls night with my Sis (it was so fun - and I bought a pair of jeans at Old Navy for the first time in I don't know how long - yay!) But, now I am sick (yuck). So, it's weigh in day - here goes:

Last week: 220.8

This week: 217.8

Loss: 3lbs

Total since August: 62.2 (1.8lbs and I am halfway there!)

I am very excited about this - I really thought I was going to gain this week because I only worked out three days last week and ate SO bad all weekend (I didn't even log my calories). I thought it might be that I lost muscle but it went up and BF went down - thank goodness. I am scared to see what happens next week because I haven't been able to work out at all with being sick. We'll see what happens. Maybe I will luck out again. :)

jasmine: Good job on your loss!

ka2007: I am so glad I could help! Good job on getting back on track! I have been watching that too. Obese sounds so awful, I will be so happy not to be in that category anymore. :)

I hope everyone has a good day! Keep up the good work!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is doing good - good here! It's been a little hectic with zoo field trips and getting ready for the end of the school year. Today is weigh in day so here goes:

last week: 222.8

This week: 220.8

Loss: 2lbs (inching ever closer)

Total since August: 59.2 (come on 60!)

I feel pretty good about it. My muscle went up and body fat went down and this weight has always been a struggle for me to get past. So I will just have to keep at it. :) I am up to 45 minutes on my runs and I added another circuit in my weights so I am up to four now. I am hoping that once I can get past the 220 mark officially, things will start really moving again. :)

wannabefitter: Good to hear from you! I was worried. Glad to hear that you are back at it! You can do it! I have always wanted to go there. I hope your hip/back are better.

welcome healthydiet!

jasmine: Thanks! It's kind of fun once you get past the trauma of dragging yourself through the first few runs. :) Great job on holding steady!

trixie: Congrats on getting into the 150s!

ka2007: You'll be back to where you were before you know it. :)

Keep up the good work everyone! Have a great day!
