Still plugging!  Went to 171 from 173 and that's with my cereal snacks.  Of course those cereal snacks probably keep me from starvation mode :-)

Dee -

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals now and so simple!  I take 1/2 cup of Dannon Lite & Fit Vanilla (40 cals), add 1/2 cup of South Beach Diet or Kashi Go Lean for crunch and put it in a bowl with some fruit, perhaps 1/2 mango (70 Cals) or blueberries or strawberries.  Less than 200 cals total and I love it.  Much simpler than when I was in the habit of making omelets when I was following Atkins.  Atkins was great, but it didn't take long before I regained the weight!

Right now for a mid-morning snack I am eating cherries as they are evidently in season.  They are on 4 cals each, so I can eat quite a few.

Good luck!

I was almost wondering the same thing.  Over 50?!?! Don't I wish!  How about over 60!  You're right, the older we get, the harder the weight loss.  However, I have lost a total of 12 lbs and only have 47 to go.  Its even more important since the doctor put me on high blood pressure meds and I want to get off of that.  I'm very lazy and am just waiting for cooler weather (its over 100 every day) to start walking again.

Great idea to give even more incentive.  I also gave in to ribs on Sunday but had a grilled chicken quarter rather than a t-bone on Saturday.  Still, today I am at 172, I lost 2 lbs last week.  Yeah!!!
