Original Post by shuva02: Thanks, I know im so confused as to what my calorie intake should be. My analysis told me i should only consume 1500 calories per day but i know that breast feeding moms should be consuming at least 500 extra calories per day, to support their milk supply, but im not sure whether or not consuming those 500 extra calories per day will allow me to still lose weight. I have an appt. with my ob/gyn this month, im going to ask her if she has any suggestions, then i will get back to everyone. |

Hello Im also the mother of a breastfed baby who is 5 months old, and i still have 10 pounds to go. I also would like to talk to other moms who are in the same boat. Its hard trying to diet while still consuming enough calories to support your milk supply. |
