Thanks to everyone who's been thinking about me.  Girls, I know I must sound crazy with the gym hours, but up until just recently, I've had TONS of energy to burn, and it's been fun!  Tuesday night (night of the "sicky" gym session), I ended up getting what seemed to  be some flu symptoms, which were replaced by a sinus infection.  I am confident that neither are a result of the extra exercise, however (been around sickly people, and been real weepy right before bed).  I went for my most fav class, Zumba, on Wednesday morning, but I haven't been back to the Y at all today.  I plan to go just on Friday evening for an hour (Zumba again), but only if my face doesn't feel like imploding.  In fact, I'm skipping the gym all together, and heading straight to the dr by noon tomorrow, if it affects my sleep again tonight.

Sorry I haven't replied individually, but I'm going to head to bed (only 1 hr of shut eye last night).

Ok, so Tuesdays now scare the crap outta me!  All because of 4 free group training sessions for the month of November.  Yesterday was my 2nd one, so I'm halfway done.  We did squats and biceps the first time, abs and shoulders this time, along with 2 10 min. HIIT sessions on the elliptical or treadmill.  Might have done too much, because I got physically sick when I got home.  Today my abs are crazy, but I made it through the 1 hr. Zumba class this morning, despite everything.  I need more rest and less stress.

Ok, so I just spent a GARGANTUAN amount on a (one, uno, singular) pair of exercise pants, but I <3 them!  Check out lululemon.com!  They are reversible, so I guess I could technically say that they are 2 pairs.  At least that's what I'm telling my husband.  Innocent  I've been at the gym for at least an hour (2 or 3 hrs some days) every gosh darn day, and I still have no loss to report.  I'm eating ok.  Need more veggies (which is retarded for a near vegetarian to say, but I just don't eat enough of them), more fruit, and less fat.  My favorite breakfast (or lunch) lately is an egg over easy w/an extra egg white with 2 pieces of wheat berry bread and butter.  My other morning meal is Quaker Oatmeal (the extra fiber kind in Cinnamon Swirl) w/a 1/4 cup of extra oats and a cup of blueberries.  Either of these keep me full ALLLLL morning long, and sometimes I don't even remember it's time to eat lunch til my 3 yr old reminds me.  Try these if you're feeling hungry before noontime!

Hey, everyone.  I'm just checking in.  Nothing to report, really.  I've been gymming it lately.  No change in weight yet (2+ weeks).  I know it's coming.  I can see my legs are already more shapely :)  Waistline and hips need to catch up!  Have a productive day, everyone!

dalma- Other than being addicted to food, another of my idiosyncrasies is being cheap and not wanting to "waste" food...  I wish there were someone that would eat the other side of my plate for me.  Maybe the only way is to make sure I don't eat those things more than once every couple of weeks.

kathleen- I'm usually really corny, but sometimes I shock myself with a real ripper :)  Edible negative calories should be invented!

akasha- I think I must be slow...  What did you mean by "Heavy Snacksover"?

So the only thing imperfect in my day was that there was no gLee on tonight :(  Stupid baseball! xD  Went to spin and zumba this morning, then the duck park, painted pumpkins w/my son, lunch and nap for both of us, zumba again in the pm, and Thai pineapple fried rice for dinner!  My final burn for the day was 1620.  I love exercise that doesn't feel like exercise :)

I know the count has to be off (maybe dramatically), but I tried my best to log what I ate today (including the donut at the "Mom's group" and authentic huevos rancheros for lunch...  I love you Mexican Cuisine <3).  Get this...  If the absolutely outstanding and sweet co-worker of mine Innocent hadn't brought me the surprise ice blended mocha w/whip, I would have burned nearly 1,000 cals today!  I thought for SURE I'd be over maintenance, but even if the numbers are way wack, I at least broke even (CC says I burned nearly 600).  Thank you Sketchers Shape-Ups and Debbie Siebers (Slim in 6 dvd)!  Tomorrow I am going to hit at least 2 group exercise classes at the Y (one of them being Zumba, possibly Spin for the 2nd or maybe a 2nd dose of Zumba).  Tomorrow is going to be an AWE-ZUM day!  I'm also planning to bring my son to the duck park aaaaand watch gLee tomorrow evening!  I'm giddy just thinking about it all LaughingWinkTongue out

iwill and dalma-  Thank you gals for trying to help me kick the habit of noshing on the South of the border scintillations.  I'm just weak in the knees and over the moon...  Maybe just once every 2 weeks???  Can we just be food w/benefits???

EDIT:  Asia!  Thank you for sharing your wedding pics Kiss  You look soooo Happy!  Beautiful!  Lovey-dovey!

I'm going to skip responding to each post this time around.  I have just a tiny bit of time before work, but I just gotta say this...  Grrrr!  I'm frustrated that I didn't get to the Y today.  Well I take that back; I got there but had to turn right back around, because I was unaware that the babysitting was closed between noon and 4 pm.  I'm feeling sore from yesterday's 1 hr of Zumba, 45 mins. weights and 15 mins. walking.  I NEEDED to be there today!  Hopefully I've still got some motivation to exercise after I'm off @ 9:30, though it'll have to be something at home, cuz the gym closes @ 10.  I even planned to get a workout in today and ate what I wanted at lunch (huevos rancheros w/freshly made chips).  I'm soooooo crabby from not working out Yell  P.S.  Does anyone have a good break up line for me and my love on the side (aka Mexican food)?

elfkittie- You are doing an amazing job!  Already lost 46 lbs this year?  You still have 2 more full months to do a little more damage to your old silhouette!  Keep pushing yourself at the gym and you'll be so glad you did =)

embalmer- I'm so irritated someone would do that to you!  Grrrr!  I am glad you're ok though.  I hope things get back to normal real soon.

iwill- I'm glad I'm back too.  Thanks Kiss  Wish I had some advice for you in the eyebrow department, but I have nothin...  Maybe go to the salon and ask what you should do?

dalma- I admire your confidence, though at the size you are right now, you fit in everywhere (and in everything)!  I don't blame you for not buying though; boutiques are outrageously priced!

I went to the Y this morning for another spin class.  I wasn't quite able to keep up with everyone, but I did my best.  Guess it would have helped if I had eaten breakfast or been out of bed for more than 20 minutes before the class started too Embarassed  Ah well, I "done good"!  I logged my breakfast, thinkin about good choices for lunch and dinner.  Now I'm getting ready for a 6 hour (standing) shift... strappin on the Shape Ups!  Cycling + 6 hours standing =1,446 burned, according to CC.  Have a great day everyone!

allydan- I thought my line was so witty, I used it on a FB post.  I'm a nerd!

dalma- Good to see you.

kate- Some good old fashioned butt kicking is what we all need!  Yours came in the form of a stair master, mine from my weight room orientation at the Y today.  Phew, I'm spent!  I'm going back later for a dance class too :)  Yeah for classes at the gym!  I hope you're feeling better.

elfkittie- I'm proud of you for being down a jean size!  That's a wonderful feeling :)  Sounds like packing your gym stuff in the morning is what's going to work for you.  I wish you all the best.

allydan- We're looking forward to pictures of whatever it is that you choose.

akasha- Happy Anniversary <3

iwill- I'm happy the scale is beginning to cooperate!

allydan- It's great that you don't have as much ground to cover in recapturing goal as you thought!  Get that muscle and those 8's back!

Grrr!  I wish I could UNEAT something!  Lunch was going well until I finished off the Tuscan Tomato & Basil Bisque.  Who invented soup with 330 cals and 22 g of fat per cup!  Insane!  On a positive note, I survived my very first spin class!  I'm pretending the burning sensation in my groin is it's special way of thanking me. shapie- Getting good rest is also key to being healthy, just don't make sleeping in a habit!  That's an order! :)

dalma- Your post may be just as much for me as it is for you, because now you've got me motivated and believing that I can be down to my old low by t-day.  I will NOT be sitting at the dinner table in a size 14!

everyone-  I'm in love with Zumba classes!  I've completed my 3 day trial at the YMCA, and I'm going back today to become a member.  I think I might also inquire about the "boot camp" they're advertising for.  I need all the help and motivation I can get!  Today I'll participate in the "Pump & Pedal" class.  It's 1/2 hr of cycling and 1/2 hr of weights.  Still on my "To Do" list, get back on track with counting calories.  I will go log my breakfast right now!

kathleen- I love the Shape-Up shoes.  I wear them at my retail job, doing errands, and practically any time I leave the house.  Secretly I like them because they give me a ton of extra height too :)  Way to go with meeting your goals of walking & yoga on Sunday.

boots- Thanks; it's good to be back!  I'm glad you're feeling better.  Great job on your walk (4.7 mi)!

karinad- I've over done it with the jogging before too.  When you do something like that, remember to stretch CONSTANTLY.  Thanks for complimenting my son's pics too :)

watchme- We love you just the way you are.  We also know that you love yourself enough to make a change.  Hugs!

shapie- Glad to hear you're over the bug.  Don't let the wedding stuff bug you too much either ;)  And I agree, "Boys are stupid...throw rocks at them." --At least the ones that are grown up and should know better!

akasha- Yeah, sounds like everyone is feeling better!

akela- I'm so happy for you!  Congrats, married lady :)  You're allowed to "honeymoon" from the counting, but not for too long!

dalma- Hey babe!  I've missed you :)  Woman, you passed me up!  You're down to 10/12, and I'm back at 12/14!  You look amazing!

fayny- Great to hear from you!  Let's both be back on track :)  Yeah to feeling AMAZING!

allydan- It's great to see familiar faces on here.  Let's do it up OLD SCHOOL!  Once you find that spirit, you'll be knockin the calories down!

meester- It is easier when you have to cook for just yourself, isn't it!?!  *Virtual carrot toast*  And WOAH, 42 lbs since July, that's SMOKIN!  You're my new idol!

shapie-  Ooooh!  Invent that cleaning by thinking about it thing for me too, ok?

fallon-  Hi!  School stress...  I don't miss it; sorry you're going through it.  Rock the costumes with a killer attitude :)

allydan-  Logging the calories is half the battle.  I've been ignoring them, which is why I'm not having a whole lot of success, I'm sure!

akela-  Sorry Aunt Flo and the scale have you stressed out.

katie- I'm sorry you haven't gotten the healthy high feeling yet, but I'm confident that it will come as long as you stick with it :)

kate- We haven't met yet, but I sure sympathize with you.  Sounds like you've been dragged through it.  I'm glad you're at least starting to feel better.

And now me...  Shoot, I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow, cuz I ran out of time writing this long arse response!!!  Guess that'll teach me to leave the CC room for more than a day or 2!  LOL!  Smiles and hang in there everyone :)

karinad- You're off to a great start!  30 minutes is a very respectable walk/jog :)

katie- I've been there too...  Thinking you're just holding at the same weight, then trying something on and getting the fierce reality.  Cooking for yourself is going to help a lot.  Even if you make the same sorts of things as you'd eat out, it's still going to have waaaaay less calories and fat.  Try to get as many colors on your plate as possible.  You're on your way!

iwilldoit- Thanks!  So how are you doing lately?

I'm in for a long haul at work today... 8 hours on my feet (w/my feet in the Shape Up shoes), plus heaving boxes, stretching and reaching.  It'll feel like a workout, I'm sure!  Tomorrow I'm planning another session at the Y (Zumba time)!  Maybe I'll do a double session and go back in the evening for a Cardio Sculpt class.  We'll see :)

watchme- Hopefully work will lighten up a bit so you can focus on you :)

akela- Sorry about your rough day yesterday.  I hope you're surrounded by grace and peace on Saturday.

iwilldoit- Even if you're not quite back to exercising regularly, every bit of the tennis and weight training were positive steps for your muscles, mind, and emotional well being.  You'll get back to the daily soon enough.  And to make you feel better, I find it hard to do well on both fronts right away, after taking a break.  I'm starting with the exercise and cutting back on the eating out.  The Shape-Ups are holding up pretty well.  I forget I'm burning extra calories when I wear them, because they're truly quite comfy.

shapie- Hope the tea and soup are your cure-all.  Don't work yourself too hard on the wedding stuff.

boots- Hope you feel better soon.

telaed- Great job for not gaining with your family's eating influences!  Way cool about your new clothes :)

meestermama- 8 miles is a huge accomplishment!  Be careful of your knees and feet, though.

So I went to Trader Joe's today and bought the ingredients for an Indian dinner at home.  Felt good to know the calorie content in the masala, lentils, and naan I ate.  Not too bad either!  I also went to the local Y and got a 3 day pass.  I did an hour of stairstepping and treadmill this morning and went back for a Zumba class this evening.  My son enjoyed himself in the child care center.  This might just work out and get me working out!

Oh yea, and I got the "Shape Up" shoes by Skechers.  I wore them for a 7 hr shift the very first day.  I felt it a LOT the next day!  I try to wear them doing errands and to work (usually 4 hrs on my feet).  They're supposed to simulate walking in sand, and they work the back of your legs/butt.  I'm going to try them for a full on walk sometime soon, maybe tonight?

Thanks for welcoming me back, ana, elfkittie, and iwill.

iwilldoit- We can save each other!  I think I might be in worse shape though. Undecided  Sounds like you have gotten yourself back on track, but I'm still in neutral.

akasha- I don't want to be just a "lurker", but it's incredibly hard for me to get going this time...  Any suggestions?

boots- Speaking of suggestions, I liked your advice about fixing just 1 meal for today.  I already messed up the first 2, and I work during the 3rd.  Argggh! Yell  Maybe tomorrow, huh?

akela- I've missed you too.  Wowww, I can't believe how fast time flies!  You're going to be a married woman within 24 hours!

Hi to all the girls I haven't met yet.  If any of you would like to "friend" me, I'd be more than happy to keep up with you.

I really want to join the Y (or any gym w/childcare), but the only way I can afford that is to cut out the eating out (replace $80 a month for membership cost).  I'm not too sure I can do that cold turkey!  Wish you (any/all of you) lived here; we could be workout buddies!  On a positive note, my husband bought the Wii Fit Plus.  I'm having fun unlocking all the new games and levels, but it just doesn't burn enough calories.  Besides, for every game I play, I have to take a break and let my 3 1/2 yr old play 2!  He's such a Wii/computer hog (just like his daddy)!

watchme- I'm flattered :)  Hope you're feeling more content with your decision making process.

kathleen- Happy Belated Birthday!  Yes, I have had BBQ Chicken (Bacon) Pizza, back when I ate meat, and I lurved it!  I seriously wanted to jump the Papa John's delivery guy (not his bones, but for the goodies in his thermo bag) whenever he showed up at my door with the goods!  *licks lips*  Great job making a food shopping list.  I really ought to do that too.  Not only would it save me from getting the new things that just look too interesting NOT to try, but it would save me money too!  And I look forward to reading up on all yall's successes and stories too.  *hug back*  Sorry to hear about your cold.  I'm sending healthy juju vibes your way so you can enjoy your swimming things :)

msn- My chunkiness is distributed all over as well (lower tummy is especially bad though), and you're right, dropping 5 is not as noticable as if it came from just one area.  But hey, I'm going to be slimmer everywhere, so I guess I can't complain!  Thanks for the reminder to get the tape measure back out!  That's on the to-do's for tomorrow morning :)  Dog walking and hula hooping are wonderful exercises!  I hope the scale minds you on Wednesday!  Darn!  I thought I was in the clear for avoiding swine flu, since I don't eat meat!  Lol!

muppet- You do look pretty @ -30!  *wink*  Keep on keepin on :)  When I'm stuck on a certain weight range, I just look at it as practicing for when I just have to maintain!  I'm sorry you're feeling uneasy about job situations.  I hope you get some peace of mind, quick!  Mmmmm sleeeeeep!  Even as a young child, my mom told me that I ALWAYS needed more sleep than the average person.  I WISH I could cash in on some extra winks!  Alas, my son wakes up around 6:30 or 7 :(

shapie- How's your "detox" going?  I felt so good after mine, and I didn't crave the junk I had previously been getting stupid on.  I'm contemplating doing just fruits and veggies (w/tons of water) once a week.  Thanks for the grats on my loss.  I agree that a podcast must include sexy man voice ;)  Having your sis home sounds like it's going to be a real motivator for you!  Have fun with the fitness stuff and the cake decorating course!  I wish my sister was close by :( *tear*

jelly- You're doing awesome if you're tracking calories and getting a little walking in!  Looking forward to "seeing" you more regularly on the boards :)

scrletbgnias-  A new month alwasy seems like a clean slate to me!  I'm also looking forward to May.  I hope work eases up for you a bit.  You're missed here!  How's that work interest treating you, by the way?  *wink wink nudge nudge*

akasha- It might be more challenging to learn a new instrument after childhood, but it's definitely not impossible!  My late Grandma Aho learned to play the piano (as well as paint) when she was in her 60's.  She got quite good at both (I have about a dozen of her paintings that would probably sell for a few hundred a piece.).  Way to go on the 19.5 km biking!  It makes me so sad that my bike was stolen a few years back.  I hope your burn is getting better.  Aloe, aloe, aloe!  You were absolutely missed, but some of us (msn) are better at relaying their feelings than others (me).  LOL!

abby- I don't think I've officially greeted you yet!  Welcome to the group!  Isn't it sick how guys can just think about getting healthy and they drop?  Grrr!  You'll be rejoicing those first 5 real soon!  I feel uncomfortable about my weight around my husband's mother.  She's not super small by any means, but her first comment to me after seeing her for the 2nd time was, "My you've put on!"  Thank God I don't see her regularly, as she lives outside the country!  My advice to being around people like that is to keep reminding yourself that you're taking steps towards improving your health.

boots- Stay strong!  I think you've made an awesome decision to take on the 2nd job.  Yes, it will be tough at times, but I think you've got the moxy to pull it off!  I'm rootin for you!

amy- More options in clothing was one of my motivators to lose too.  We're looking forward to your upcoming post of buying your new _____ brand jeans!  My end goal is flexible, but I did arrive at the number based on my BMI being right in the middle of the "healthy" range.  I am comfortable with changing it once I reach the 160-150 mark if I feel "good" at that weight.  I'm not aiming for being anything less than a size 8.  I'm happy to hear you're on your way with the therapy.  The first visit is always the hardest.

bowman- Hey, woman!  How's the trainer/gym w/your hubby?

qtpie- You and hubby might need to think about scheduling computer time, cuz we miss you!  Haha!  Regular counting makes me want the unhealthy stuff less, because I just get too shocked by the caloric factors and what it does to my eat meter :)

iwill- There she is; that beautiful friend of mine!  I wish I had a nerdy bike.  Yours sounds really cute :)  I have a really hard time running when my TOM rolls around too.  Sorry your cycle is so wonky right now.  That's a bummer!  Mine regularly throws a wrench in the plans, and I'm taking BC!

I am on the fence about something, and I need some talking into...  We got this flyer in the mail the other day about a fundraising race.  There's 3 options for participating: 1 mi family fun run, 5k, and 10k.  I really want to do at least the 5k, but I'm really nervous.  This would be the 1st "race" I've ever been in.  I mean I've walked a 5k race before, but never went in with the intention of running/jogging the whole thing.  I'm even contemplating signing up for the 10k, but I don't know if it'll be more than I can handle by June 6th.  Running outside is nothing like running on a treadmill.  Granted, the flyer maps out the race and describes the course as being flat, so maybe the 5k will be comfortable for me.  I kind of want to push myself though.  I can do 5 mi on the treadmill in an hour, but I'd have to up it by about 2 mi just to be safe and confident doing 6.2 outdoors.  What do you all think?

I've been having quite low calorie days, but I KNOW I have to go to the kitchen and find something to eat.  It's 8 pm, and I'm only @ 947 for the day.

amy- I've been on CC for over a year (started 1/2/08).  I religiously counted for probably a good 9 months, and then stopped logging.  I still averaged and counted in my head, but didn't put it into the log.  Now I'm logging again, and trying to be verrrrrry good.

Thanks to everyone who jumped up and down with me!  Grats to amy, and iwill for their losses too :)

Can someone plese jump up and down with me and go "Wheeee!"?  I did not believe my eyese when I stepped on the scale this morning, but after several double-checks, I am at 174.8!  I've only been back to hard-core counting for 5 days.  I knew it worked well for me before, but I don't remember it working THIS well for me!!!  To add to my amazement, I haven't done any exercising what-so-ever these past 5 days.  I'm sooooo giddy!

I promise to catch up to the posts shortly.  Read everything, and am hoping to respond soon :)

My girls!  I ate pizza tonight too!  Try this one on for size...  I ate the WHOLE thing!  Hahaha!  It was one of the new Thin & Crispy Personal Pizzas from Red Baron.  300 delicioius calories!  Had it with the ripest, reddest, hugest strawberries, and a small salad.  The Thin & Crispys come 2 in a package, so I'm really looking forward to another dinner of pizza sometime in the near future.  Day 3 of serious calorie counting, and I clocked in @ 1244!

akasha- Great job on the wing swap at KFC!  You definitely earned your dinner out with the strength training and cardio :)

msn- We never appreciate what we have until it's gone, so it seems.  Although, I think your most current pics are very beautiful too!  Sorry you're feeling ill today.  Hope your tummy recovers quickly.  The C25K is the Couch to 5k running program.  It's 9 weeks of gradual walk/jog combos that build you up to running 5k non-stop.  These gals (jump on board) are going to CONQUER it!  I did it, but only went through week 7, stopped jogging altogether, then picked it back up and can do 5 mi in an hour.

qt- We're all going to look back at pictures of ourselves NOW, in 30 years from now and say, "Hey I was gorgeous when I was young!"

shapie- "Hi!" (waves)  I was in band and choir too :)  Played percussion in band and sang alto in choir.

amy- We all know it, so you might as well accept your hotness right now!  This world is coming to an end...  KFC sells grilled chicken!?!  Hope your TOM gets more tolerable.

reddy- Don't get too hard on yourself for pregnancy weight.  Not gaining enough weight during pregnancy can be detrimental to two people.  You are committed to getting back (and beyond) to the weight you started out at, and you're awesome in my book!

akela- I'm glad you're feeling better.  Don't apologize for sharing with us.  We are all here for each other.

lurkers- I've been missing the familiar posters (you all know who you are).  Hopefully your busy lives will settle down some so that we don't become strangers!

all- I've been back to counting calories for the last 3 days, and I have to tell you, I'm going to rock out these last 30ish pounds!  Here's what I've had already today (1:14 pm here)...  A packet of High Fiber Cinnamon Swirl Oatmeal, cooked w/an additional 1/4 c of regular oats and 1/2 c frozen blueberries for breakfast; 3 egg whites, 1 c cooked cauliflower, 1/3 c cherry tomatoes, and 1 c creamed spinach for lunch; and Sunchips for a snack!  I'm at 796 so far, and I'm really hoping to get on the treadmill tonight.

I watched a movie w/my husband last night instead of exercising, but I think it was a really good choice.  We saw "Fireproof."  I highly recommend it to anyone going through a rough patch in your relationship.  Some of the acting is very good, but I quickly got over that.

Can anyone tell me why my chin is breaking out sooooo much?  I feel like a teenager!  I need remedies, QUICK!

Red Baron makes a new lower calorie personal pizza.  It's 300 cals for 1 of the 2 in the box.  Check out Red Baron Singles Thin & Crispy!  They're individually wrapped, so it's not hard to cook only 1 serving at a time (microwaveable or oven).

muppet- I'm sorry you've got to handle so many things at once.  It makes even the simplest of things harder sometimes.  Sending recovery vibes to your dad, and big deep breath vibes to you.  BTW, I have 5 Zone bars that I think are GROSS!  I almost want to throw them away!  They're the dark chocolate strawberry.  If you don't think it's weird to pm me your address, I'll totally send them to you!

akasha- Thanks for the grats, but yesterday was seriously my first day back at the healthy stuff after a realllllly long time of face stuffing.  Results were AMAZING though!  I'm back down to my lowest CC weight!  That was just over a 5 lb drop overnight!  Now I just have to keep my head on straight and not celebrate with take out!  About your dilemma...  I would eat something very light with a huuuuge glass of water if you're hungry.  Grab raw veggies!  Or if you're truly hungry after that, then eat an open faced sandwich w/o mayo or cheese, and cut it down to 1 piece of KFC.

akela- Do a day of veggies, fruit, and water like I did!  I'm sure it'll do wonders for any water you might be retaining from eating out.

ally- We look forward to hearing more from you when you're not sooo busy!  Miss ya!

ana- Having hungry days is so frustrating!  I know you'll make better choices tomorrow.

qt and msn- I'm totally jealous of your ability to connect in person!  Have fun and think about us :)

Hi back, watchme (and all the current posters and lurkers)!  I've done well today, and I just had to toot my own horn for my calorie estimating abilities.  I ate nothing (not a thing) besides fruit and veggies alllll day today (like every 2 hours).  Here's what I put in...  banana, an all-fruit smoothie from Jamba Juice, baby carrots, green grapes, mango, pear, broccoli, avocado, and cherry tomatoes.  That's 10 fruits & veggies (counted smoothie as 2)!  My guesstimate was 1350, but I just wanted to know for SURE, and the real number came out to 1313!  How cool is that!?!  Too bad I didn't do any exercise to speak of today, but I did drink nearly 100 oz of h2o!  I'm trying to "flush" the system out and rethink what it means to be full/satisfied.  Wish me luck!  I'm going to have other food groups tomorrow, but try to keep the servings of good things still really high.

jelly- Welcome back, and of course I remember you!  I'm so inspired by you.  All that you've overcome, and now you're back on track with the healthy lifestyle!

reddy- Soooo happy for you and your new family!  I immediately went to check your profile for pics, but you're probably just soooo busy getting into your groove.  Welcome back, and welcome little princess (very cute story about the cake, btw)!

amy- Thanks for asking.  My friend is at least home now.  She went home yesterday afternoon.  I went to visit her there, and just sort of left the lines of communication open if she needed to talk about anything.  She blames herself- not taking good enough care of her body, not going to the dr regularly or taking prenatal vitamins regulary, being too angry and stressed with things going on in her life during the pregnancy...  I wish there were some way to get her to stop thinking those things.  She had preclampsia for goodness sake!  It was a medical condition, and no fault of hers!  She still had the crib up...  Her breast milk is in and creating physical as well as emotional pain...  She doesn't want to take pain killers anymore...  She says she has no appetite...  Keep the prayers coming.  I plan to visit again tomorrow and bring her some sort of food that she just CAN'T turn down (We both really like boba tea/bubble tea.)!
