My answer for the QotW... For motivation, I say 173.2 - that was my heaviest weight on a scale. I as in shock and everytime I think about skipping a workout or eating fried foods. When I feel comfortable, I think that my wedding will be July 31st and I can't move the date just because I have not reached my goal. I WILL be 127 in Mexico. I WILL have the skinny pictures on the beach and not be ashamed to show everyone. I also tell myself everyday that if I slack off today, I am just adding that day onto the end. I have a goal and I will get there. It is a matter of how long. If I skip today, that is one day farther I am from my goal and being able to eat 2000 calories a day forever! I realize now how easy it is to maintain a 1500 calorie diet with meal planning. |

I do pilates 6 days a week and I love them. I have been doing them off and on for 4 years. I do alternating Windsor Pilates 20-minute spot workouts for Abs/Buns & Thighs. They are great, although I now mute them as it becomes annoying. They are fantastic for, as I put it, putting everything back where it belongs. Whenever I feel like my stomach is starting to protrude, I do my abs workout 3 days a week for a month to feel it go back to normal. Definately a staple for me. My side note is that pilates won't help you lose weight. To lose weight I still do 30-40 minutes alternating cardio/weights. I have done pilates alone and it helps tone but not enough of a calorie burn to lose weight. If you only have 30 minutes, alterate your cardio with the pilates. |

I am getting married July 31, 2008 in Mexico. I need to be down 40lbs by then. I refuse to even look at dresses until I am at least 140lbs. I am 164.2 today and trying to get to 127. I hate the fact that the dresses are sized so much smaller than real sizes! To help me, I have set mini-goals and can lose 1-2 lbs a week and be able to meet my goal. I also have been working out 6 days a week, pilates everyday, alternate cardio/weights with Friday's off to have a beer. I started on 1/1 and need help staying motivated. |

Question for the Week - I work out 6 days a week. I take Fridays off to have a few beers. I alternate 30 - 40 mins of cardio with 30 mins of weights followed by 20 min. pilates video. About 5 hours a week total. |

| I know what you mean. I am 28, 5'3" and 166lbs. My goal is 127, which I think I was when I was 12. I started counting calories on the first and exercising 4 days ago. I have found this site very helpful in keeping motivated. | |||

| My favorite is turkey burgers. Add half a packet of lipton dried onion soup mix and grill. They are fantastic! I also use it for taco salads. Just fry the turkey with taco seasoning and add lettuce, tomato, onion and salsa. I am also a big fan of the turkey italian sausage. I use it in all my italian food meals. | |||
