Hey everyone, I just wanted to apologize to everyone for being so neglectful this month. I had no idea how much work the new house would be nor did I expect things to get so busy at work. I have just been very swamped with everything - which meant the list didn't get updated as often as normal. Anyway, on that note, I wanted to let you all know that I'm probably not going to run the group again - at least not in the same way.... I will keep the thread going but I will probably only update the main post weekly - is that ok with the group?? |

3150 / 10500 ETA - I'm "hearing" lots of frustrations out there... We still have 12 days left! Even if you think you know you won't make your goal, push it (in a healthy way, of course) to see where you end up. At the very least you can see use that number to see if the scale matches your calculations and to help you plan for next month. eat4health - I just went through the same thing (as you can see with my numbers). I took some time to think about my goals for the rest of the year in terms of my weight, and wrote those goals in my journal. That gave me some more steam for the challenge. Sometimes I lose focus on the big picture and taking the time to re-focis helps. |

Alright everyone... Apparently people are upset over bending the rules regarding me accepting weigh-in on days outside the Tues-Thurs window. No more exceptions will be included in the results. Weights will be accepted from 12:01 am on Tuesday to 11:59 pm on Thursday. The times posted on your post will be used as a time stamp. |

lory45, am254, wildntaken, and deirdrereilly - I apologize for missing your Week 5 weights. I missed them because I usually just look at my posted results from last week and forward. I will update the numbers tonight! Again, I am very sorry. dewdropflower has dropped out of this challenge over my mistake. On a related note, I will not be doing this challenge again. It takes far too much time and with our new house, summer and life in general, I do not have the time to run it properly and mistakes like this are made. So, if anyone else would like to take over, please let meknow and I can send my excel document to them. Again sorry to all! |

1688 / 10500 ETA - Thanks for the helpful thoughts brivb10 & cbussiere. I remembered today that we used to have little wash basin type things that we used for camping when I was young. I looked for them at Target - surprise they were there. So, now my kitchen sink is useable... just have to dump the water in the bathtub. Hopefully we'll get a plumber out to unclog the drain this weekend! |

I'm finally back and the list finally updated! Welcome to all the newcomers! cbussiere - that's an amazing day. Congrats to you! You deserve it :) I fell of the wagon a little bit. By little bit I mean I justified eating crap by telling myself the following (1) moving burned a lot of calories, I can eat whatever I want, (2) we don't have a workable kitchen sink yet, I can't cook anything at home because there's no place to wash the dishes, and (3) I haven't had a chance to get groceries yet - no fruits, veggies or healthy treats around. SO, I haven't been paying attention and I am hoping it doesn't show up on the scale (here's to hoping moving really DID burn a lot of calories!). Anyway, with all of you as witnesses, I will jump back in tomorrow by getting groceries ASAP in the morning and planning ahead like usual (if that means washing dishes in the bathroom sink for the time being so be it!).
