hey platinumbutterfly why do you think if you have scras you would look ugly. You look good if you are happy from inside so try to be happy and healthy you would look good.. Even the fat body or a bad skin is not as bad as a negative thought. PLease try to be happy and you would look the best... |

i would join. my current routine: Mon: step class : 60 mins or some mondays i take off Tue: Strength endurance 60 mins + shadow boxing 45 mins + 15 mins abs Wed; Turbo boxing - 60 mins + weight training 60 mins Thurs: steps - 60 mins Fri - Any cardio 30 mins + weight training 30 mins or sometimes off when i workout on mondays. Sat - Turbo bocing 60 mins + pilates 60 mins Sun - steps 30 mins + weight training 45 mins. I take a day or two off depending upon my work schedule. Any comments are welcomed.

will give u an indian recipe.easy to make too. add some oil to a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds,add turmeric powder, chopped onion about half, after onion is translucent add tomato, add salt, pepper. u cud also add 1 tbspn shredded ginger for that extra flavour. then add lentil and also add about double the water (1/2 cup lentil : 1 cup water) and presure cook for about 15 minutes and you are done... check if it is cooked properly,if not boil it for some time and add water if required. |

Thanks for the answer and the motivation. Yah I guess I will over work myself if i start working out in the mornings too, but I am atleast planning to do some yoga in the morning for 15-20 mins, which will help too. My diet looks like : breakfast : cantaloupe/1-2 toasts with a little butter+1/2 cup coffee with 2 % reduced fat milk/sometimes oatmeal Lunch: some soup/sprouted muung ( am a vegetarian)/salad/whatever veggie I cook for my husband I get it sometimes. Snack: yogurt+strawberries+handful of cheerios then i go to gym workout for 2 hrs then come back and eat toast or watermelon/banana or any fruit as a snack. Dinner: omelette with veggies/stir fry veggies/soup with brown rice. PLease let me know if you think it is too much..

thanks, I know I am sounding like a jerk. But thanks for replying.Actually I end up over eating carbs each day and hence the ques abt less crabs supplement. Yah I guess I have always runied my metabolism as I always used to diet and eat less... People aroind me lost much more than this in the same time and hence i got worried.... I will keep in mind you said and thanks for your replies, they helped me quite a lot!!

wow..thanks so much for all the info. I do a mix of cardio and weights. Monday: Dancer's workout for 30 mins (which works the booty), then abs for 15 mins and then stair master for about 25-30 mins and then some light weights for about 15 mins and I walk down home which is like a walk for 25-30 mins. Tuesday: S.E.T (which is like both steps/weights lots of squats+cardio) for 60 mins+abs 15 mins+shadow boxing (which includes boxing+ athletic training like jumping rope+push ups etc) - 45 mins. Wednesday: Turbo kickbocing - 60 mins + power sculpt(which is mainly weights and lunges/squats/steps) 60 mins Thursday: Steps 60 mins+abs 15 mins+any cardio - 45 mins. Friday: cardio 30 mins+weights 30 mins+ abs/pilates 30 mins Sat:core workout 60 mins+cardio + light weights/abs - 60 mins Sun:dancer's workout 30 mins+steps 30 mins+weight lifting 60 mins. My routine revolves around this...Not exactly the same everyday but yah similar to this with a break on fridays on most of the weeks. I try to do stairmaster whenever I have time and if I am not tired after the workout on weekdays. ANd you are right I am a female but 28yrs and 5"1. PLease tell me if this routine is ok or it needs to be modified and also let me know which brand of protein powder is good and has less carbd and less calories. I am really desperate to loose weight and look good. And i have a slow weight loss.I started working out in december (not regularly tho!! and not with this plan and till date I have just lost 19lbs). Thanks so much for replying... I eat about 1300-1400 calories everyday..Not sure if is is enuf..I am 5"1' CW: 158 Lbs and current GW: 138 Lbs And another ques I have is Can ie at egg whites everyday??And also I am a vegetarian so not many options left.I make myself some lentil soup. And you know I realised I gained weight with peanut butter. |

and gains are ok too..atleast we all are trying hard. the other day i gained 2 lbs and i was upset so i thought I am not eating enuf and I started eating more and the next day I saw thr was a 2lb loss. I think it is just about the inches u loose... |

Hey, I know it is too late, but I want to join too.It seems to be so motivating to be with people who have the same goal. My CW: 158 lbs My GW: 138lbs in 10 weeks. I have always been on the heavier side but not nemore and like someone in this discussion said ' you achieve what you mind believes..' and I know we all can do it!!!! Thanks guys!! B+ive is my blood group, so I try to be positive all the time...

bravo!!! u look awesome guy!! u r such an inspiration..i have to loose about 30 lbs to get to my goal weight and i have lost 17lbs since december 2007 which is so slow compared to yours...but now i think i can also do it....the only bad habbit i have is chocolates, which I am going to quit from today seeing your post and will reach to my goal weight too... thanks!!! |
