I do insanity and start week 3 tomorrow. its intense but in a great way. I dont follow the meal plan but I really should. I am sure Id have better results. LoL!

Hey,

I am doing Insanity right now and am on Day 11.  Its one of the hardest programs I have ever done! its craziness as shaun t says! but its, in a crazy insane sense, fun! it moves quick...kicks your butt & sometimes brings you to the floor!

People are already having great results with it that I talk to on the beachbody forum. I have lost a little weight but have weakness in the eating clean sense and actually just started following the guide on week 2.

I can, however, tell I am getting more endurance and power in the little time I have started. Its ridicously amazing!

It is alot  of money but Its a great workout and somethin I will do for along time.

I love it!

Hey all!  Doing great so far this week. I have been kicking butt in the workout dept. and doing pretty ok for eats. I am home for lunch today and ate a low fat/low carb/high fiber sandwhich. It s was pretty yummy! I am not a breakfast foods girlie so everymorning I have a shake with strawberries. It seems to do the trick. It keeps me full up til almost lunch time.

Has anyone heard of Shaun T's insanity that is being released soon? Part of the beachbody prorams, like PX90 and Chalene Extreme. I have done Chalene Extreme and was able to pre oder Insanity, which I am both nervous and excited to start. Its suppose to be well...Insane! I am hoping its the key to finally making my long time goal. I have gotten withing 5-6lbs before but never have gotten there. I am hoping to start it sometime next week and (fingers crossed) 60 days from then I will be sporting a tone and fit and hottie body!

Weigh in in a few days...need to make it count. Already have my workout and dinner planned for later. I seem to do 10x better when I already have it in my head whats goin to happen.

Let us know laurenml how it goes for you.  I was also thinking someone ( I could) wanted to track everyones loss/gain every week as long as everyone is posted by like Sunday or something. Whats everyone think? Do it or lose it???

My weigh in day is Sat morning...alteast Ill behave on friday  heehee!

my motivation is 1) my sisters wedding in sept and 2) everything seemed to be getting tighter on my chub! UGH!

laurenml~ I would love to work outin the morning but like you I hit the snooze until I know I have to get up for work to get ready. I wish I had the self will to do it and get it done for the day. If you figure it out please share!Smile

Hi all~

I am on week 8, week 3 of push. I am working on better eating...It seems like it is always what I am doing.

Today has been really good in that department. I am determined to work really hard and start seeing all my hard work in the exercise dept. to be worth it!

Carmenxox you know I have read through some of your entries and it seems to be you take very offensive when someone accuses you of not eating or how someone can "eat whatever they want and not work at it". You obviously had a ED before...when you weighed 87lbs. And now is just as obsessive with exercise.

The example you so willingly shared explains your life doesnt it?

Well not every girl concerned with their weight ends up with a ED. I surly didnt and focused on being athletic and lifting weights during my cheerleading yrs.

I am sorry you had to go thru that at a teenager but give the girl a break and relax.

 Maybe she wants to work on healthy eating and making it part of her life. Why do you all have to be so effin harsh? This site isnt just about losing weight, its about being healthy also and learning about nutrition and exercise. Maybe she doesnt have support at home and you are being mean and pushing her away. You should be ashame of yourselves! Our children are sooo obsese these days from toddlers to young adults and you are critizing her for caring. I hope she isnt obsessed about it but our epidemic of obsesity is becoming out of control.

I remember one morning when I was 24 that I came home from work (3rd shift), picked up my son and made us breakfast...eggs and sausages and went to bed for a nap.

Woke up with the worse pain I ever felt. (I had two c-sections and never uses painkillers afterwards so I have a high tolerence for pain) I couldnt get comfortable. Finally I broke down and called my mom to see if she had anything I could take. She brought over a vicodin and it did Nothing for me. she left and not long I called her to come pick up my son because I couldnt not be upright long enough to take care of him. She decided to take me to the Immediate care. After a week of tests, 3 trips to the e.r. and pain still there a dr. took the chance and went it. It was laprascopic and it was exactly that...my gallbladder, ridicously filled with gall stones. Surgery was at like 9am and I went home by 4pm the same day. Was off work for a week and then went back full duty to a physical-have to lift up to 100lbs and was fine. Only thing was adjusting to a new eating habits...low fat, no greasy food or I was in the bathroom.

I started push phase today. I really need to go heavier next time. I worked hard but couldve been tougher for sure. after the 1st 30 days I didnt change in weight and only lost around 2.5''...thighs measured bigger then day 1. Anyone else see this? I mean dont get me wrong they are less jiggly. Laughing

I didnt work at the eating as best as I could have until week 4 and plan on keeping it up. I dont restrict myself either but want to stay within calories.

And kaybug---I am gettting better with keeping my abs in but constantly have to remember to and even then it doesnt "look" like I am engaging them. hee hee! Maybe soon itll be different.

I agree...I am tired of looking at the scale...although I really havent and am suppose to weigh in on Sunday and take measurments/pics again. I am sure I am going to be disappointed though because I dont feel any different I dont think. But I'll see I suppose.  

I am sad to see you go but wish tons of luck getting that lean and tone look asap! but happy for you that you are working on it and revamping in a even more postive way! yay!

Hey ladies...Is our little forum dying out? Frown  I am just trucking along...missed more days than I would like this week because I wasnt feeling that great so I had 4 rest days. I did get in all 3 strengthening though. I am feeling better now and so today I am starting out with my interval day later today.

Only a week and I can weigh in and re measure. I am not holding my breath tho because I am sure there wont be much change. But I am going to finish this program! I want to see results. Ugh...eating is a problem. Always! I do so well  til wed/thursday and then I think I get bored and lazy about it. Its almost like I sorta sabotage myself. why??? Like now, I know I am not really hungry but I am just really wanting a hot dog from a nearby resturant.

I need more of a plan...I just printed out a daily amount of food from each food group for different caloric needs. Maybe this is just the thing I need.

You know I am only on week 3 of burn. I also feel like I need to work my abs more and wondered the same...should I do ab burner or extreme abs everyday after my "scheduled" workout? I dont want to get to the lean phase and be disappointed with my flabby belly.

Are you all following the eating plan? I should...I stay in my calories but dont always eat the best.

I started week 3 of burn phase. Its pretty intense but I love it! I always feel like I have worked really hard. I started doing burn it off before cardio this week. (well I only started yesterday and today) but will continue with that because not only do I need to be strong but lose inches...lbs would be nice as well. I am working hard to stay within my calorie range but this is where I find I have the most difficult. Anyone else???

This week has been way better. I remeasure and weigh in on April 6th so we will see.

Hi everyone...where have you all been?? So I started week 3 today of my program. I upped my weights and upped my cardio on my lift days as well. I really am working on the food thing so today was way better.

I gotta get things going here...I am the last bridesmaid in my sister's wedding to order my dress because when I tried some on I learned I have 4 boobs...ugh! Shocking to me too girls! LoL! So I am going to order one and then work hard with eating and ex's just the same. Back Boobs Begone!

Hi all, &  Happy St. Patty's Day!

I hope all it well!

So I started my 2nd week of my program and things are going well. I am taking a different approach for a while...No weigh in or measurments except for my 30 day check ins. I am way too scale obsessive and its hard when you arnt neccesarily loosing due to building muscle.

I do have food issues tho and am TRYING to work on that. Its crazy, but its in my mind that I can have this or that because I just worked out hard. Its conter- acting the whole effort of trying to be lean and fit, not just strong with fat.

So I will be here and plan on chit chatting and up dating weights. I will be making posts, etc. Smile

I decided not to go to the doctor this week and just wait until next because I started that program and its heavy lifting and your muscles tend to retain water after working them like that.

Ive been eating pretty well. I think I am going to try to follow the eating plan...I am just so picky thoFrown  I have been closer in my calorie range so I am happy about that. I still have some things to work on.

I am going to post my weight from my scale in the morning but I expect it to be a little higher but atleast I am expecting it right? LoL

Hey all...I started March 8th. I have done burn circuit 1 & 2 and did burn intervals with extreme abs today. I also followed burn 2 with ab burner. I love it so much already! I love how hard I work and all the sweat too. Smile

Feeling muscle fatigue is great...although tough when you arent quite to the end of the total workout. In the bowler squats I had to stabilize myself due to my shaky Hamstrings. LoL!

I am not following the eating plan although I really should. Is anyone else? I am just trying to stay low fat and low carb...doesnt always work out that way. hee hee

veggie_love hon! there is no way you gained 7lbs. You are in the process of adjusting your calories and so your body is also adjusting. Its holding on to a little more for right now because its say "hey whoa there is a lot of food here that I am not use too!" If you are eating well and you know if you are or not youll soon see it drop back after thing are regulated!

hello all... How is everyone? Good here...weather was great today (mid 50's)and is suppose to be a little better tomorrow (low 60's) and then rain. Better then snow I guess. We have had enough really.

I went to weigh in today. The scale said 142.4lbs so down 1.2. SmileI am sure that it will slow down soon...thats how it goes for me.

Ash, are you going to be off from work soon because of spring break? My son has it the week of the 23rd. I would love to be able to get to go somewhere. Indoor waterpark maybe. Ill have to start looking for deals.

I ordered a program from beachbody that the lady from turbo jam leads call Chalean Extreme. And is a 3 month program with each month focusing on a different aspect of how to strengthening and lean out the body. I recieved it today & am excited to start. So I am going to take a "before" pic & take measurments and follow along. You check your progress every 30 days witha new pic and new measurments. I have so many dvds and I like them all but I get bored of them after a while but I do go back to them every now & then.  I love weight lifting but this is just what I needed...something to lay it out and tell me what to do each workout and when to workout. Its something like New Rules of Lifting for Women (book I have and really love) but a bit more detailed with visuals on tv.

I knew that shrimp fried rice would catch up to me...143 on the scale this morning! It was so yummy so oh well. I also had a bacon cheeseburger last night also with a couple of beers. (I like beer, can you tell?) Hee hee! I dont really expect much of a weight loss this week for check in on thursday but I'll see...could all be made up if I made good choices this week.

I honestly think I am comfortable where I am always fluctuating -low 140's and high 130's- I can eat/drink I what I want without killing myself with exercise. I kindof just to need to tone up my belly more. I want to make my goal and am giving it a honest effort since starting to go to the doctor...just kindof thinking out loud.

I think you can do the virtual model thing at www.mvm.com Ash...I was just looking at that website the other day thinking about doing one for myself. I wish that they did them more by measurements and not by weight alone. But I think I am going to make a model.

I love naps!!! I could nap everyday even if I slept 8 hrs the night before. LoL!And keep those #'s going down...you can do it!  

veggie_love, what are you upping your cals to? Has your exercise increased?

Way to go for being strong and knowing what you will and wont accept in your life from people you love and who are suppose to love you as well....the hardest thing is walking away but its also hard to stay somewhere with someone who wont try understand and stand behind your decisions. I am proud of you!!!  I wish more women were strong!

Ash~ Isnt it funny how much a number can have an effect on you? Turning 26 was mine...I cried the whole day before. Being closer to 30, farther from 21 and not married or finished with college or having the perfect job all played a role in it as well. Well I hope that you can cheer up your girl and get out and have a great time! She sounds like she could really use it. I would totally go out with you ( you know if I lived closer~hee hee!)

I am been really good all week (The scale even said this morning 140.5)and tonight I am being bad...shrimp fried rice and crab ragoon and couple beers for dinner.  Can we say S-O-D-I-U-M???  and alot of it! alot of water weight for me in the morning I am sure. But I rarely eat it and the kiddo and I wanted it so there...HAH!

doing well here, but a bit under the weather~ sore throat but greatfully that is it...for now. My night out was crazy and fun! Last minute I rented a limo to drive us all around. That in return means I vaguely remember certain things..hee hee!  It was about 9 of us, needless to say besides my boyfriend only 1 girl is my friend. Everyone else that came were there for her. It started out kindof cruddy because I was dwelling how much I really dont have any great friends in my life, but within moments I realized that Id rather no friends then the ones that treat you like crap ( I have non-friends that do that enough- hah!) 

I could start a new thread~ have any ideas for it? Or I am ok with it the way it is and someone finds us then so be it uh? Atleast any old members can always stop in and say hi.

I weighed in at 143.5 at the drs. Its funny but oddly mean, right before I left I stepped on the scale here at home with exactly what I would be weighed in there and my scale say 142lbs., so Its crazy how there can be a 1.5lb difference between the two. I know my scale is correct because I have put a dumbbell on it to see how that weighed in and yes a 30lb dumbbell weighs 30lbs on my scale. Maybe the car ride over I gain a little weight???? LoL

Anyway, I hope you both are doing well. I am going to jump in the shower and take something for my throat and also lay around.

hee hee...not necessarily. I think its just so maybe our ultimate goals are within the same weight range. But who knows perhaps yours are too????

Dont fret little Ash!!! you are allowed days to screw up and not dwell on them. it is part of a realistic life.

Be proudthat you make your first goal of 140! And as for your friend Im sure she didnt mean to hurt your feelings but maybe didnt realize how she was saying it to you. Look at you, you are on the way to your next goal~ 128!!!

you'll redeem yourself..youve done it before (we all have at one point or another) and you'll move on.

have a great day (on saturday)!  We are expecting 6-8ins of lovely snow! ugh! tired of it! A bunch of us are suppose to go out satnight and I am hoping that the snow doesnt ruin it for us. Well I am here if you need to vent or chat...HAH!

I have bio-oil but I am not an regular user of it. It happens to be sitting in my bathroom closet. I should get it out. But yay~ let us know how you like it.

I went to the dr today and weighed in at 144- down 5.4lbs from last friday. (w/ around the same type clothing I was wearing before).  

Still 17 from my ultimate goal...
