SW 237 on 1/1/08 Last week 202.5 CW 200.5 (-2) So far this challenge -4.5 LOST 36.5 Pounds! (so far) GW 160 (40.5 more to go) I have been using the Jillian Michaeles book "winning by Losing" for the past month. One of my friends and I have been spending at least 2 hours at the gym 5 days a week. We do 35 min of cardio and then circut train for the next 1-1.5 hours. I've been following the workouts 100% yet I don't seem to see the scale move as much as when I didn't go to the gym at all. I don't get it? I eat healthy, not much processed food, don't really drink, and stick to about 1500-1600 calories a day. I do however feel better and notice that I can lift more that when I started. |

I love the black or green iced tea. I get a iced venti with 3 pumps of classic syrup (insted of 6). So good....and not that high in calories, about 75. I'm not a big fan of the sugar free syrups and stick to black iced coffee or black iced americanos. Sometimes if its nice out I will get Espresso Frappuccino Light, only 110 calories for a grande. They also have some good food choices if your Starbucks has the breakfast sandwiches. The Spinach, Tomato, Feta and egg wrap is only 240 calories with 7 grams of fiber and 13 grams of protien. |

Yeah where did everyone go??? Anyway, I'm still in. Great Job to everyone who has lost! Its exciting when you see the numbers go down (even if just a little bit) each week. weigh in for 4/11 current weight 207.5 last week weight 210 Not my best week...lucky to have lost anything, went out to dinner twice (had chicken fajitas, all of them!) and went out drinking once. I've been going to the gym 4 days a week for an hour or two...thats what saved me. Time to get back on track. Great job everyone!!! |

I was vegan for a while (not any more) and I found Follow Your heart Cheese. I would put it on Pizza (It actully melts) and on vegie burgers ect.. I don't know that I would want to eat it with crackers, but it is very good. It can be hard to find but my local Whole Foods had it. You should definatly check it out. |

| You have to eat at least 1200 calories a day to maintain your body functions. So if your at all active, as in don't have a desk job, or if you work out, you will defiantly need more in-order to avoid losing muscle. If you don't eat enough your body will slow down your metabolism because it thinks you are starving, not very good for losing weight. I lost 30 pounds last year by eating 1200-1600 calories a day, depending on how active I was. I've kept it off by staying active and eating around 1700 calories a day. I still have a ways to go, 60 pounds or so, and I've just gone back to the 1200-1600 range. I think as long as you can stick to it you should be fine. I Make sure to eat lost of veggies, they don't have a lot a calories so you can eat more of them and feel full longer, and of course lean proteins. I also eat a small meal every hour or two and try not to go much longer that that between meals, since eating gives your metabolism a boost. Hope that helps, Good luck with everything :) | |||
