weigh in for 3-14-08 Current weight 147 Good for you Hanshock!!--and nblank15--isn't it amazing how much stronger you get as you exercise more? What seemed so impossible (5 min. on the treadmill) is like nothing now--yea for all of us!!! And miss mullin--at least you are not gaining--drink some more water to toast that fact!! and let's all try to get out in the sunshine next week--it's finally warm enough to walk without freezing your fingers off, but we're supposed to be getting more snow on Wed.......

Last weigh in 2/15 (where have I been???) 157lb weight for 2/28 149 lb It's really hard to remember to check in on Fridays--I need to make a note on my calendar, or something--too bad I can't do it at work. I miss Mandi!! Great going Jennisonamission!! Wow--that is really wonderful!! You got a lot to be proud of--this is really hard work and hard to stick to, so good for you... |

Weigh in for 2/15 current weight 157.1 My boss brought in "treats" his wife made (she's on weight watchers) from a recipe she got on hungrygirl.com (I think) lemony angel food cake things--really good, but 1 was plenty...Thank goodness my sweetie has learned and didn't get me candy for valentine's day--Flowers instead, Yahoo--they're great to look at & I can't wait till the real ones show up outside--Come on, spring!! We have had so much snow this week--snow removal is a major weight loss tool!! And then we lost power because of an ice storm--so I had to get up every 3 hours to fill our little wood stove so the pipes wouldn't freeze...Well, enough about me, how was everyone's week???

Weigh in for 2/08 current weight 159.8 QOTW--Motivation: I mentioned my motivation while talking about my goal weight last week--winning a bet with my sweetie(if I get to 150 by 3/1, she has to come to a two day singing convention with me) and looking good and fitting into real clothes by my neice's wedding in July--and treating myself into a real outfit, not just something I found that fits me at Salvation Army. (It is a great place to find clothes cheap for those in-between times--clothes that fit, but you won't mind passing them on when you lose more weight). I do want to keep a pair of "fat pants" so I can take a before and after pix--I also want to be healthier & live a long time. After losing 40 lbs in the last year & really working at exercising and eating better, I have much more energy and I am stronger than I was. I think better eating/exercies helps the old brain cells, too.....

How did I choose my goal weight?? According to calculations somewhere on this site, I should weigh 102--HA! While I weighed 90lbs when I graduated from high school, it's been a long time since I've been anywhere near that number (try 1/2 of my life). Weigh in for 2/1/08 162 lbs (down 1)

weigh in for 1/25 Current weight: 163 (lost 2 lb) Way to go, girls....I got into jeans this week that I haven't worn for at least 2 years!!!I've got a bet on to lose 13 more lb by 3/1 and I am determined to win. I even went for a long walk in the freezing cold tonight with my dog to make up for not going to the gym today....and I'll hit the gym hard in the morning before work. If I can go at least 3 times a week I feel much better & have more energy. Here's to a new week--see you on Friday, if not before...... |
