I think this post is great. I was following my calories very carefully, even writing them down at home more than here and was not loing weight. I was fluctuating up and down daily with water weight, but that was it. The last few days I went off the diet...a little....I still tried to make healthy choices, but I had a meal and a snack everyday that were way more calories than normal, and voila, I lost a pound a day, 3 days in a row.....I think this site is great.....but for me anyway....it was more about making a concious effort to move my body, and stop eating junk all the time....and it's working better for me. I got to caught up in being so strict on my cal intake, and I felt tired all the time, AND I was getting nowhere.
Weight Loss Women... Would you stay with a guy if he wanted you to lose weight? Jan 20 2008

I get what your saying totally. It's one thing for your husband to say yeah you have gained weight and you would look great if you lost it, but I think your pretty hot the way you are....than to actually request for you to lose it. I didn't hear his tone though....sometimes guys are re-re's and they say things and they have no idea why they did it other than their brain was malfunctioning. If it's something you have been on again off again for a long time, maybe he was just sick of saying..."no no hunny your beautiful they way you are.." ? Or maybe he's just an ass...After 6 years together you know in your heart when something is a problem. I have been with my hubby for 6 years and married for 5. Trust me, the second my husband says or does anything, I know if it's a big deal and it's something I can get over, or if it's something I'll harbor forever. If you do feel like something is seriously flawed in your marriage...figure it out before you do bring a baby into it.

I've been on and off my meds for about 14 years 112mcg now. I think as long as your dosage is correct and you take your meds everyday you should be fine. I still get my dosage checked every year and when they change it, every month for 3 months to make sure everything is regulating. Make sure you have it checked though. Lots of things can affect your own , babies, weight loss or gain, age.

Wow. We are in the SAME boat. I have two boys, 17 months apart and the youngest is turning two next week. The sad thing is I lost all my pregnancy weight within the first 6 weeks with both of my kids. I was gestational diabetic so I didn't really gain much but water weight and breastfeeding knocked the last bit off. I'm also 5'0" And 137. I'm a total apple shape though so all my weight is in my middle, and my boobs are quite large so I seem soo top heavy.  I really want to lose the excess weight but I'm also concerned with the tummy issues. And so far I have been dieting and excercising like a champ. But no weight loss. I'm also having a hard time eating the right calories. It's either too many or too less.
