Hi everyone, new and old! I'm feeling really good today. I have made it to the gym the past 4 out of 6 days! I am very proud, because those of you who know me know that I am not very motivated when it comes to exercise ;) I am eating right, and I am determined to get in shape and look great! I'm trying to stay more focused on how I look and feel rather than the scale, which is very difficult for me. I think I need to find a challenge thread to join. some of them have worked for me in the past. I hope everyone is doing well and being healthy!! |

Wow Wendy! I would Looooove to see size again! Right now I am 176.5. I went back on my diet strictly and it is workin, but I need a new scale, I don't think mine is right :( I have a friend from work who moved in with us. She is originally from England. I'm gonna hook her up on here, I was tellin her all a bout it. I hope everyone is doin well, we are plannin on joinin the Y next wk.

Great job newlook!!! I am gonna join the Y next month. The guy at the front desk told me he thought they were gonna have a no sign up fee promotion! That'll save me $90! I am feeling mostly better. Still coughing though. It is freakin rediculous! PMSing bad and feel like a blob! Holding steady at around 177/178. I am hoping that once my period comes it will start to come off. I started yesterday trying to do at least situps/ pushups/ and squats daily. That should help some. Keep up the good work ladies! You motivate me!!!!! |

Hey guys! Sorry I've been gone. I have had wicked bronchitis for 2 weeks and nooooo energy!!! My weight has gone back up a little 177.5 :( but at least it's under 180. I'm hopin to start doin some exercise when my cough is gone and I have more energy. Looks like you guys are doin pretty good! Keep it up! |

Hey all! Checkin in. Sorry didn't weigh in last wk. My computer is actin funky and I have to use hubbys laptop now. I have been on/off track. Went to a wedding and a party this weekend, but I didn't do too bad. I walked a mile yesterday! I know that doesn't seem like much, but it is a good start compared to sitting my butt on the couch! Hope everyone else is having a good week. I will weigh in on Fri for better or worse!! |

Hi new people! You are always welcome no matter what your weight. A few of us got out of the 80's awhile ago but still hang around for support!! Betsy- That's funny, that is my name too! Welcome Angel! We all can certainly relate! I was 190ish last summer and my last wt. was 175. I really want to be 145 ultimately. I do real well eating, but I am not really an exercise person, but I am trying to get motivated! Today I did 30min of a "Bollywood" workout. I thought it would keep me interested if it was fun. It did, but made me realize just how out of shape I am! I used to do taped workouts and barely broke a sweat! I'm going to try to do something for 30min at least 3 times this week. That is my goal! Wow canuck! I can't imagine running that much...great job! Welcome back Wendy! That is awesome you are in the 50's! I would kill to be there! Newlook- hang in there, I know what it is like to be uber unmotivated to exercise (which is almost every day) I just realized that I have to in order to get where I want to be....like it or not. My body builder friend says it takes 6 weeks to develop a habit, so if I can at least do 3 days a week for 6 weeks, maybe it will stick! |

Jun09 Don't give up! We have all been there! I will write more this weekend to tell you about my weight loss saga. I hear ya about the accountablility and motivation! That is my issue too. Ok...back on track as of yesterday, and weighing every day. I know I can get obsessive about the scale, but I think my weight was better when I was weighing every day than the month I didn't . I've been off track for a month and it's time to get back into the groove of things! I did some small workout things yesterday (arms, situps) and am going to try to do this daily. I find that if I don't do it every day, I start slackin. So I will do it EVERY day. Also, to keep me honest, I am going to start weighing in here every Friday. Anyone who would like to join me with that is welcome to! I find that when I am kept accountable by other people here I do better because I don't want to be embarrased! Hey...whatever works right? I will be back Friday for my weigh in...anyone with me? |

Ok...I decided on a weekly weigh in here for all to see to keep me honest and on track! It worked well for me when I was in the challenges before, but the most recent challenge groups I was in really didn't motivate me like the old ones I was in. I'm with ya canuck! I have been waaaay off track. I have't (purposely) gotten on the scale in about a month. To be honest, I am afraid to. I need to come back on here religiously like I did before. It really did help when I was consistant with it! |

I'm gonna try to do some gardening. I am trying to not leave the house, we live near a speedway and it is Nascar weekend! Ackkkk! It's like a snow storm, you get all of your supplies ahead of time and hunker down until it is over LOL! I am going to start out trying to walk consistantly and go from there. I have very low motivation so I will have to build up slowly. I also need to go back to my daily situps, leg work and arm work. That was helping alot for awhile. Maybe I will get back on the Total Gym. I just need to do SOMETHING, I have come so far and I really don't want to back slide. I don't have a specific goal as far as weight number, I just want my "gills" on my back to go away at this point! That will probably happen somewhere around the 50's. At that point I will be getting a "tramp stamp"!!!! BTW, the hubby is the one who gave me LadyElizabeth, I usually go by Betsy |

I'm with you fifth! I really need to get back on track starting Monday! I am 5'3.5" and 169.5 at this point. I started where you are in August last year. I am kinda stuck where I am, but I plan to start exercising and really getting back on track! |

I had issues this week too, I didn't even weigh myself! I am also at TTOM, so that doesn't help at all! I will try really hard to get on the scale and be honest next wk!

Welcome Jasmine! Great job getting out of the 90's! Yay newlook! I am sick and am soooo off my diet! I hate it, but that is just the way it is. I am hoping to feel better by Friday. There is alot of outside yardwork etc that I want to do on my day off! Plus, maybe that will burn some of my non diet eating off of me! |

SW: 167.5 LW: 166.5 CW: 166.5 GW 6/5: 155 Dammit! I have been eating well too! I have been having some bathroom issues though. I'm trying to use Benefiber every day to straighten that out, but it hasn't seemed to have done that yet. I know I need to exercise, and I am trying to walk more. My pedometer broke, so there goes that plan. I have been trying to do situps etc. but I really, really need to do some cardio. I am feeling very discouraged and don't think there is any way I am going to meet my goal for this challenge :( |

Sorry I didn't weigh in last week! I was havin some issues....lets just leave it at that! SW: 167.5 LW: 168 CW: 166.5 GW 6/5: 155 Yay! Goin back down! I have suuuuch a hard time getting exercise in, but I started using a pedometer and have been trying to get AT LEAST 10000 steps in a day. It seems to be helping alot! Some days are better than others but it isn't too bad to just get extra steps in at work or going back upstairs for something that I would usually be too lazy to get, in order to get in the extra steps! Hope everyone had a successful week! |

Ok....well I guess I am first to go, SW: 167.5 LW: 169 CW: 168 GW 6/5: 155 Still not thrilled with it, but it's going back down at least. I am in my "PMS" week, and have also been having a tough time eating occasionally. My husband usually makes sure I have what I need for my diet (he's not working, so he goes shopping, does cooking etc) but he has been sick this week and will say he's going to buy/cook something I need but then feels really bad an hasn't been able to. In spite of that I lost one of my gained pounds! That is good at least. I usually take the weekends off, but being as I am working this weekend I think I will get a jump on the week and just diet. Hope everyone had a good week! |

Sounds to me like you have irritable bowel syndrome. You should go to your doctor. There are medicines and diet regemins (sp?) that can help! |

Hi all!! I am not doing too well. I have gotten off of my eating schedule and it has screwed me all up! I gained like 4 pounds!!! I realize alot of it is sodium related but I am disgusted! At this point CC is saying I won't hit my goal till Sept. 20! I really wanted to get there sometime in the summer so I can get my tattoo/reward :( My calf has been really hurting me for some reason. I went to the doctor and had some tests done to make sure it's not a blood clot or something. Now that I know it's not, I need to seriously get up and get moving! If nothing else, because that scared the crap out of me and I want to make sure that my circulation stays good. Maybe if I manage to do this, the weight will come off/ stay off better. |

I know that I have eaten way more salt than normal, and I am a bit blocked up, but it shouldn't be THAT much!! 3.5, really???? Time to buckle back down and eat right.
