The Lounge Average bra size? May 27 2009

Original Post by _butterscotch:

Okay, to get this straight, the average bra size for a teenage girl from 13-16 is a 34b. A 16-25 and above average bra size is 34c.

I'm almost fifteen and even though I am rather slim and don't weigh that much my boobs are a 34b to a 34c depending on which store I go to. I am constantly worried about my boobs and sometimes want them to be a little bit bigger but however my boyfriend loves them, and says they're perfect. So it proves not all men like big tits! :)

In fact most guys I know go by "more than a handful is a waste", so even if you've got small boobs, don't worry - A guy should like you for your personality, not your boobs.

Well, I always thought my hubby wasn't a boob man (I normally wear 34B) but after I got pregnant and grew to a lovely D cup he couldn't get enough of them. Personally, I can't wait to get back to my smaller size!

But getting back to the original post, I think that the average size would be bigger than that...

Thanks for all the advice ladies! I feel really "in-between" right now. Some days all I think about is another baby in the house and other days I just think to myself, "I can hardly handle one right now!"

I know the time is coming soon, though. Last week I was 10 days late before I got my period and when I got it I have to admit I was a little bit disappointed!

I have to agree with 2tall4me. I'm 5'8" and I weigh 145lbs. I could stand to lose maybe 5lbs but that's it and I'm shorter than you! The most important thing is to stay healthy.

I always ask people why they don't drink because they usually have a very valid reason which I always respect. So, I respect you puinsai for making that decision in your life!

Oh, and I'm proud to say I showed some restraint last night and only drank half the bottle! I decided my sleep was more important.

Great idea. I weigh 145 and 140 is the magic number for me. When I lose those 5 pounds I will be completely satisfied.

I'm 5'8" and pretty muscular so 140 would be the lowest I want to go.

I have always had really good posture. In high school people thought I was stuck up because I held my head high and my back straight. Now people are always surprised when I tell them I am 5'8". They always think I'm a lot taller than that because I have good posture.

But I've never heard that it makes you look thinner...makes sense though. Like cellulitedelight says, it makes my stomach look flatter.

Hi everyone! I'm 5'8" and I weigh 145 right now. My goal weight is between 135-140. I'd be happy with 140 though! I'm pretty muscular so I don't know how much fat I could lose!

BABY. I swear to whoever, if anyone ever calls me "baby", "babe", or anything similar I will wrench a spork into your eye sockets!!

I let Alex get away with "baby cakes" but even he rarely calls me that, and it's usually just to tick me off.

I call him "Cuppy" though.

I hate being called 'babe' too. My hubby never calls me that because he knows. I call my daughter 'babe' and 'baby' but that's because that's what she is!! My husband usually calls me 'sweetness' or 'darling.'

Big *hugs* from me as well. I was also so happy and excited for you when I read your last post. I think it's a really good idea to let your body get back to normal before attempting to lose any more weight. Right now your health (both physical and emotional) is most important. I'll remember you in my prayers.

I was 19 when I got pregnant (married, but it was still an "accidental" pregnancy). I wasn't ready to be pregnant but I had 9 months to prepare. My daughter is now 18 months (her name is Robin) and when she was first born I got a lot of looks because I was a young mom. But most people said things like, "Oh, she is soooo cute!" and I loved it!

I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy. If you have any questions feel free to message me!!

Yeah, my period has never been normal but it has never been this bad either. Last month I went to my doctor and he told me there was nothing I could do, "It's hormones." I think that's his answer for every womanly problem...

Thanks everyone. I'm officially not pregnant. It's kind of a relief but now I'm dealing with killer cramps! The pain has never been this bad...maybe it's because my cycle was so long this time (44 days!).

When I played college basketball, my period was all screwy. I went on the pill a few years ago and no matter how much I work out (which of course isn't nearly as much all these years later) and my period has been really regular. I always recommend trying it since not only as my period exceptionally regular, but my cramps got less painful and I could cope better. Just a thought.

The pill messed me up even more than I normally am...spotting, side effects, etc. I've been off the pill for 5 months now and will never use it again!

but yea, i suppose alot of women on here do do it for their looks. =/

So, you don't want to improve the way you look in any way? That's hard to believe.

Well said hkellick. I don't like to think that women in general wish they were more beautiful, but they do. Even me, and I've got a pretty good self image. I'm happy with my how I look...for the most part. But why would I be counting my calories if I didn't want to change something about myself? I'm mostly doing it to be healthy but I'm also looking to lose some "excess" fat.
