Oooooh ok...I was confused lol.

Daily ice cream would be sweet, however I think I need to get more discipline down first. Staying on track is hard for me unfortunately... trying to lose weight isn't easy that's for sure.

Break up breakfast- no, but I like to get the right portion, 24 of those lil mini wheats is one serving, so I tend to count, because I tend to overeat cereal without even realizing! Although I try not to count out loud my coworkers would look at me funny lol.

My lunch 1 and lunch 2 was indeed one meal, I just split it up because I had L1 at like 12  got full and then had the rest or L2 at like 2:30-3:00.

I have recently discovered Amy's meals. I like a lot of them. I've tried quite a few, the one I had for dinner is great, plus I like the cheese enchilada, the tamale one, there's another enchilada one, two of the bowls (but I don't like those as much as the meals) pretty much if it sounds like Mexican Food, I'm going to eat it!  She has some Asian cuisines too, I haven't tried any of them yet but they sound good. Don't like her pizza pocket thingy..tastes too plain.

I love that you eat ice cream everyday, ur living the dream! Tongue out

Honestly I love GLEE. But in my opinion the Pilot for the show was out of the ballpark amazing! Like genius in every way, so I think I got my hopes up super high, so I felt the 1st real episode that was on last night was a little bit disappointing because it didn't have as much "magic" as the pilot, if that makes any sense. But I love this show with all my heart!! It's a great concept, and I feel like FOX is going in the right direction with this sitcom, because as of late television has took mass reality show explosion that while I have some guilty pleasures overall needs to die a quick death soon! That's another topic completely but I really love this show, and I think it has the potential to be unforgettable classic.

Plus I LOVE the cheerleading Coach, I loved her in 40 year old virgin a few other things, she is a great actress, and this role is custom fit for her, she brings a lot laughs, amazing.

Ok I'm gleeked out now. Cool

Also I'm trying to stay between 1200-1300 and I find it takes some serious planning. I noticed almost half of your calories are liquids, is that satisfying for you? I try to only drink water or low cal drinks because I'd rather eat my calories then drink them to stay satisfied. Just thought I'd pose that question to you.

No I live on long island, NY. There isn't much press about the Freshway opening up over here, I would know, ive been looking!! I'm not sure where you are from but I think it's a new development here in NY, they might start popping up in more locations.

And I totally concur with you guys about getting lost in groceries for hours, I love seeing new products that aren't generally found in the states, a lot of overseas products and stuff are so awesome.

Once it finally opens up (end of sept I think) I'll let you guys know how it is!!Smile

I'm pretty sure you just crush up some chick peas, with a bit of oil added, and garlic and if you want some lemon juice.

You can add any spice you can think of to it's base which is just crushed/pureed chick peas.

I'm pretty sure its spelled "Hummus" btw.

I'm pretty sure that ads are generated based on things one searches for through the internet or facebook. If your teens are searching "diet tips" the ads on the side of the page try to correlate with your teens interest. Ads are everywhere, get an ad blocker or choose not to allow your teen on fb, if you are worried about their health. Free sites need to make money somehow. I think it's great that you want to protect your child but there's much worse out there then ads that ususally get ignored on facebook!

Chrissy-

It surprisingly does tide me over until lunch, and I say surprising because I was not so long ago a chronic overeater. But I make sure whatever cereal I get has decent fiber, b/c if I were eating like trix or coco puffs or something like that it probably wouldn't keep me full enough. Plus mon-friday I am at a desk all dayyy so I'm not very active at all.

Don't get me wrong though, I could totally go for an Egg McMuffin Sandwich hash browns and an OJ mon-friday lol but that would be massively counterproductive to my weight loss. SmileIn any case in the past month or so I've really trained my stomach to anticipate what and also the amount of food it will be getting. As soon as I get to work, im like ding! time for cereal, I know it's kind of repetitive to see my posts as cereal everyday but posting it keeps me honest and accountable. And repition of food keeps my weight loss goals on target, plus I really love cereal.

Sometimes on days that I am hungrier I just have lunch earlier. Lately I'm on a cereal kick but in the past I usually eat oatmeal which is very satisfying.

Today I took off from work so I'm probably going to have multi grain blueberry waffles :)!!

I don't like too many bars because I think they taste kind of dry and what in my head I assume would taste like "cardboard"

That being said, I like Optima Bars, Rich Chocolate Brownie and Cookie Dough. They both have a little bit of dry taste but mostly sweet and delicious.

Snickers Marathon bars taste pretty good as well.

Morey's Brand has a marinated verison that I think masks some of the fishyness. But I do like fish so I'm not sure how helpful I can be. It's tasty for sure though!
