Firstly, well done on losing weight - it sounds like you have now found your ideal weight compared to your height! I'm about your height, although weighing a bit more, I am slender and classed as "healthy" so I dont think you need to lose more. You don't say how you feel unhappy?,Accepting yourself doesn't just have to do with weight, maybe it has just been a focus of yours as it was a visible one? With the little information you have given I'd say there might be something else that stopping you from feeling good about yourself.

alwhite04, I've been trying to add new routines to my gym sessions, like spinning and using the cross trainer's programmes to variate the intensity, but could probably up it a notch. i tend not to run, i've got weak joints due to hyper mobility even if i much prefer running to cross trainer. for how long to you sprint / jog for? how long is your session overall? |

I'll try to up my calories, my bf will be glad about that! Sned, I too feel like that. I insist that I'm not on a diet - I've just tried to focus on a way of healthy living and getting rid of my [former] bad habits. |

had my measurements taken when I started out - I should get that checked now and keep doing it especially now the weight is slowing down. I do get my muscle % / water % and all that measured so do see that it is going up even when weight is not going down as much as I'd like... At least a pound a week would be good but it has just stopped... :( |

Asked my trainer who told me to do pilates or spinning so morrighu,, seems like that is the way forward. I havent' done pilates but find yoga to be a bit boring, but will give it a go. Some say that having a day off a week help? I guess that is similar to a diet meal buster? Today, I have had porridge for breakfast (didn't have any nuts but normally add some), an apple as a snack, chicken strips (200g) with a salad of mixed leafs, cougettes, yellow pepper and tomatos for lunch. Sprinkled with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Later I'll have another apple, and for dinner I'm off to a restaurant but will order something healthy, fish with veggies, no bread, no dessert. Probably have a drink or two as it is my boyfriend's bday. It is a pretty typical day food wise and I think it is sensible. No? I guess I should weight my food for a few days and work out exactly what I eat. Just seems hard to fit in between gym, work and what else needs to be done during the day. |
