lol.. i defiantly second this! for healthy food, i'd have to say protein smoothies. for unhealthy.. MUFFINS! not healthy muffins.. like, huge, full fat muffins w/ chocolate or somethin'! i guess i could live of of any carbs, really..

i'm 5'8".

high weight: 192 (back when i was 12 y/o, and 5'3"!) low weight: 140 (ED at boarding school.. summer'06) current weight: 157 (although it fluctuates by 8 lbs during the week..) goal weight: 140-ish

i've started using soy protein drinks.. pretty much just 'cause i'm lazy! ;) j/k. i'm veterinarian, and vegan for the most part. i've gotten too busy to cook & eat as well as i used too, w/ school, lacrosse, and work.

Pretty much the ENTIRE blackout cd by Britney Spears! omg.. its seriously FANTASTIC! i bought that cd for my ipod and listened to nothing else for over 3 weeks!! i had to save it for my workouts.. i would be excited to workout just so i could hear it!

 i kinda like girly music.. ;)

I ADORE Tae-Bo! the ultimate abs/butt workout is amazing. i'm trying to incorporate some yoga, and i found a set of 5 yoga DVDs by Sara Ivanhoe, that are only 20 minutes each. just short enough to hold my attention! =)

Hey!

congrats on starting to run! you will very soon become completely ADDICTED!

a safe burn figure is 100 cals a mile. if you speed up, you will finish faster, hence burning more calories in a shorter amount of time.. but you might get too tired going less distance then you could if you went a little slower.. hence burning less calories then you would on a longer run.

i'm a little confused about this myself. i do cardio first, because i figure this way i will burn more calories in weight training, but i have been hearing its better to do cardio after? idk.

i have been a runner & cardio addict for about 4 years, and have recently started incorporating weight training. the results are amazing! i always thought that i would get better results by cardio, because of the calorie burn, and didn't want to get "big" from weights. it is such a common misconception by women that they will get "big" doing weight training! some of the iest ladies out there are into weight training! (think Jessica Alba, & The Victoria's secret s!)

i'm working on overcoming bulimia, and have been trying to track my "triggers" for binging. after the gym is always the worst time for me! i think its because i don't eat enough before i workout..

Quaker chocolate rice cakes are super good! only 50 calories each, plus it seems like your eating a lot..

sounds gross, but i like to top mine w/ yogurt!

I read in shape magazine that it was better if you used the handles because you burn more calories. i need to work on my lower body more, so not using handles makes sense.
