Apointe - I know it is, but it doesn't feel healthy. I always feel bloated (even though I lowered my salt level and take in more veggies and fruit) and my stomach is always hanging over things even though the pants I am wearing fit me. It's because I am not working out at all. At work we do lunch weeks, one person makes lunch for a week for everyone and we rotate. I do realize that being a part of this hasn't kept me at the weight I want. So I know for September I will always bring my lunch in. (it's just time consuming lol). Good luck! Once I go on vacation I will walk more. :) |

Hey all, Good to hear people are doing well. I am still staying at around 130-135 which makes me sad. Since last year I was 125 by this time. I am eating around 1300 calories a day but I am not working out since works been really stessful. Summer vacation starts soon and I am hoping to push myself to work out again and then see a difference. Since I will be eating at home, I won't have chips and chocolate like we have at work. |

CW: 132 I tried not to weigh myself everyday like I usually do and do it once a week to see if there would be a difference. But the scale doing move in a week. Should I go back to weighing myself everyday?

Yah I am the same, pretty close to what I was when I joined this site :( With the summer I hope to get back on track. But it's been the same with my metabolism, which seems to have slowed down.

How is everyone doing? No updates in here for awhile, and I find I barely use this site. I am upset with myself. Had McDonalsd for breakfast :( Woke up late for work. Not working out either. I need some kind of push to be healthy again and not eat crap. Plus I've been having back issues and can't walk too much :(

I hear ya on getting the added weight off by spring/summer. All my summer clothing won't fit me and I can't afford new clothing, lol. We are getting a snow storm too supposedly here in Toronto, although with 10 degrees I doubt it. Has this winter been harder for everyone? Last winter I found it was so easy but then again I was more able to control what I eat, was able to afford a gym and still lived with the folks. I am sure the economy doesn't help anything. :( Those of us who went off the wagon a bit we will get back on track :) for me this is a second time around and I think after a second time trying I won't want to have a third. *I hope* |

I've been wanting to get back on track so badly. And have had no motivation. My schedule is all over the place (working lots and school work) so my eating is spaced out all over the place. No time to work out...And it snowed again today :( I am waiting for spring to come and then I think I am going to kick it into high gear. Because I have been eating crap lately when I have no time to eat and it sucks. And oddly enough when I started smoking again :( I gained a bunch of weight. I think Iam going to keep a written journal with my online journal so I don't slip when I am not around the net.

Hey, Well I have been not that good. I haven't been paying attention to my diet again. It's all my mom's fault lol. My dad has his 60th bday and my mom got a sushi tray, well I love sushi and I can eat tons! and I did. So since my sodium level must have been pretty high my scale said 132.2 today, up 2.2 pds. Plus my TOM is coming up so I am not listening to my scale. March 20th is fast approaching (official day of Spring) I think once the weather starts to warm up (which I know I Have said every single message, just keep reminding myself) I will definitly be taking walks around my neighbourhood, not a very scenic area but oh well. I just recently started dating someone so I started not to care about what I was eating, but I don't want to get that dreaded boyfriend fat :P Hope everyone else is doing well. |

Thanks :) 2 lbs awesome! Sadly I never have time to work out, with full time work and 2 classes part time I am swamped, now I know not to do 2 classes on top of full time work and part time work. ARG! I am also trying to keep at 1400 cals a day only cause I can't see myself ever doing 1200 a day. I need new batteries for my hrm it sucks they are so expensive. So good to hear you are doing well hope everyone else is doing well. |

Hey, How is everyone doing? I weighed myself this morning and was 2.4 pounds lighter. I still need to work out more and can't wait for the weather to get warm and to become more walkable for me outside (I have asthma when its too cold outside) I have 5 pounds to lose now, but really need to tone up more.

Hey, Yah I used to work out at home at my parents place when I had more room. My room is limited now and I wish I was at a gym. Sadly, I do not have cable :( And as for the weather it was warm and now its getting cold again. Last year it snowed until April so hopefully end of March whether will get warmer and snow will melt and I can start walking around my block. Yah I am, only because I wouldn't let myself get back up to where I was last year. Right now my goal is 125. I have a heart rate monitor which needs batteries. I don't have the drive to do it again this time around :( it sucks. At work I have trouble not eating everything in sight. I think it's just the winter blahs, stress and the economy lol. I used to love working out. Now I live above people and worry about noise. ah well. Thanks. I got started on my Turbo Jam again just need to kick my butt into gear. I work a lot so I never have time to work out. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Hey guys.
SO I tried starting again but it's been difficult, since at work we have lunch weeks, and today the lunch wasn't the healthiest oh well. I did start working out in my apartment, whcih is kind of small and it was kind of hard but manageable. Hopefully the people downstairs won't complain :) I weighed myself today at 132.4 Last year this time I was around 140. So I hope I can get back on track with working out, since my eating habits I haven't had so much self control over.

Blah! I tried to start my healthy eating today. Today was supposed to be the day and at work one of my co-workers made luinch and brough a bag of chips (my downfall) :( I don't have control this time around.. Help. :( And I did a yoga class the other day (hot yoga) which I haven't done in 3 months and it hurt so bad. |

hey hey. The sinus infection was gone a week ago, went to a ENT specialist. I have a deviated septum (meaning I will be getting surgery) thank goodness. can't wait to deal with this problem. Feb 1st I officially will start my plan to eat healthy. I am not calling it a diet. I don't work out anymore because I can't afford to join the gym and I have no room in my new apartment to work out. Actually technically I do for yoga...but no drive at the moment. I did a hot yoga class yesterday and it's been 2-3 months since I did it and I was wiped after only a few postures. So I am going to try going once a week to get myself back in the frame of mind I was last year, which was WOO WORKING OUT! I used to enjoy it, now it just is painful lol. |

Hey I am doing alright. been sick with a sinus infection for a week now, sucks! But I didn't gain. I am at 129 as of Monday. Anyone have any sinus infection cures, I am on antibiotics not working very well and drinknig apple cider vinegar with honey in tea *YUCK&* |

Logged back in today...I need to start doing this everyday again. Chattynoel: sorry to hear about the stress. I am still struggling with eating properly again, not a lot of money for groceries so I am living off eggs for breakfast, tuna for lunch, and whatever else I can find in my pantry. Not a lot of room to cook in my little kitchen so it makes me upset, but I am going to try my best to do this again. SW: 130 (i am up 10 pounds from the summer) GW: 120 or 125, whatever weight I look best at. For me I am going to have to start eating properly, working out can't happen until I can afford to join a gym. No room in my place to do any kind of working out. My turbo jam videos will collect dust for now until I move into a bigger place in the future :( Good luck everyone! So we back to update every week? Every sunday? Monday?

Yah,well I haven't been on the site in awhile. I forgot about it and moved in to my new place. I was eating lots of mcdonalds because I was too lazy to go grocery shopping. I have no room in my new place to workout to my Turbo Jam so I want to join the gym that's close by. I just wish I had the money right now. I guess I am setting my new years resolution like last year to lose 10-15 pounds again. There has got to be a way to do this right. But in the winter like apointe said its very nice to curl up on the couch all warm and eating crap. And for me beer has been a major factor, drinking quite a bit every weekend. Yep one day at a time. I am backto logging on here, although I know I will ignore it a bit before I go diving back intolosingw eight again. Leah |

We all seem to be going through the same thing, could this be due to the winter months when they start to approach, we get lazy and hungrier and want to eat good stuff. I haven't worked out in awhile because my life has been so busy, and I keep saying I will start my diet again this day and this. I've also been enjoying beer again every week and that hopefully won't be my downfall. I will be moving out of my parents house soon and hopefully I have finally found an apartment, I used to live on my own and I think that depresses me a bit being here. Once I Have my own place I will for sure want to start looking good again and I will have room to work out :) Good luck everyone, I still have 5-10 pounds to lose again it just doesn't move but I need to kick start something. |

Uch this month I just need to start over. Not sure what I weigh at the moment, but I gained and need to lose maybe 5-10 pounds to get back to my maintenance weight. End of October was particularly bad for me as I broke up with my boyfriend of a year and a bit and it was hard. Then I went out for Halloween and drank like crazy, then my birthday week of November 5th I came down with what seemed like strep throat, was really a virus but was put on antibiotics, went to the hospital yesterday because I had a asthma attack and so I have been sick for the last 10/11 days and not working out. I ended up not completing the yoga 30 day challenge because of being sick and because of my break up. BLAHHHHH! I can't wait for this cough to be over so I can go back to yoga and cardio and my turbojam videos which I haven't done in months. and I eat crap lately, mcd's 2 days in a row, chips for snack today.... the lazyness hit me again. I think 2008/09 is going to be a good year I can feel it :D BTW: I am 25 now! Yay for car insurance going down (or well I hope I haven't called yet) |

I haven't weighed myself this week yet but I think I am doing well. Half way through my 30 day Hot Yoga challenge and I think my belly has gone down significantly. I feel better and not as bloated and trying to make healthy eating choices. Once I am done this challenge I will get back into my turbo jam videos and more cardio and strength excercises but I haven't done any in a month or two so it will be back to the basics.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong this time around but I am still at 130 with the beer belly again *sigh* I am one week into my 30 day hot yoga challenge, so maybe as I go on with it I will see more of a change. I've noticed one change since I started and that is that my skin is softer and clearer not exactly the change I needed or thought about but it's nice. Hope everyone is doing well I would read all your entries but with work and my online course and trying to get in every day for 30 days of yoga I don't want to do any extra reading lol. . If it's short and sweet I will for sure read it, lol. |

Hello all, So this break of mine is going to end. Gained at least 5 -10 pounds since the summer so I am back in for losing again. Starting October 6th I am doing a challenge called "30 days of Yoga" Moksha yoga which is yoga in a hot room, 30 days straight. It will be exciting and I hope that will help me lost the weight I have gained. I have to get back to eating right. It's so easy to throw all of it away and start eating poorly, which I have done. Eating mcdonalds, and drinking coke. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD *slaps wrist* I have been putting off working out because I have been to lazy to go to my doctor and get a prescription for my inhaler, now I just need the motivational push. *PUSH HARD* |
