Hi Everyone!! Keep At IT!!!! I made it under 200lbs three days ago! 199.8 LOL!!! Hey I didn't think I would see this happen. It's been over a year of working out every week, and watching the food & drink. Sometimes more then others. 25 pounds total so far. I have 10 more lbs before I reach my first goal of 190 March 22nd. I fell off the workout wagon today, but I'll make it up tomorrow. I have had to kick it up a notch or two along the way, but I guess I expected that. I actually used to count walking at the mall and shopping without a cart as an exercise day when I started this. Biggest tip? The CC 12 week excercise plan . . . It kicks butt, but if you do it you will see results. For April-June I have set another 20 lb goal. |

Yep I'll try it. I have stalled out or increased slightly every weekend I've been drinking. I loose it pretty quickly, but find myself working out twice as hard for the first three days of the week to make up for it! Today I was 204.8 I always take the fractions they count too! By the end of February I want to be 196. Those few glasses of wine aren't worth getting in the way of my goal for March 21st 190. |

OMG . . . That sounds so worth the effort, I actually came across ground chicken at Pete's Market just Wednesday. I stooped there at the meat counter and purposely took note thinking it would be good for something. Cool I just needed this information from you Thank You. U R a Lifesaver LOL

Hi what worked for you? I am having the same extreme fatigue problem, I'm down right now! I have been burning 800-900 calories a day for four days, on dy at 300, and then 800 again last night. I am almost too tired to function at work. I made a doctors apointment for TOMORROW |

Thanks everyone! Mindful eating sounds right. I love a triple cream brie, or a hearty aged white cheddar, or toasted goat cheese yummy.... and I think if i can just have the good stuff 1oz at a time I may get through this. Sausage however is another problem, from charizo to summer sausage, Amy's creative brats and chicken sausages, breakfast pattys, to a hearty french pate' I only have a solution for the breakfast patties...

| Weight Loss | lose fat or gain muscles? NEED A NEW PLAN! | Jan 07 2009 02:58 (UTC) |

I am making the same choices now . . .and opted to do both. I am a little "older" and I am afraid that loosing without strength training, big time would result in muscle loss, reduced bone density, and well looking like I am in big sisters skin LOL. Gravity is working against me ... know what I mean? Strength training keeps me a little firmer, and even without loosing too much I look and feel way better.

I've been weight lifting with a trainer for about a year. I think you could have gained 13 in additional muscle easily. Although be careful that you didn't gain to much in inches...switching out soft and underdeveloped muscle for firm toned muscle has helped me loose 3-4 inches while keeping the same weight. I wasn't in good shape to start with like you so my exchange was for fat...it takes up more space. Once you get the bulk it should help you perform better stronger and burn more too. |

I did take a two month time-out and just rested at this weight, but starting July 1st I am back on the bandwagon . . . wanna check in for support on the fortnight...When exactly is a fortnight? |

Hi I haven't been here for a few weeks and 1,000 responses ago . . . Mostly because I was also on a 211 pound plateau, luckily I stayed there during spring break! I guess plateaus can be useful afterall What I wouldn't do to get down that pound to make an even 210! Now that I have had a few of these I am getting better at accepting them . . . I know after they end I'll drop a few pounds and I guess that has to be reward enough... Lunch tip: Quizno's 200 calories Sammies! |

500 calories far a single slice of Sarbucks lemon loaf . . . . That's equal to 1/3 of my daily calories. Amazing. I know it's not a healthy food, but who knew it was so high in calories . . . Bummer. |

986 replies . . . . So Now I See Why We Are All Here! Geeze, I have been holding at 211 for three weeks, but during that time, I have also had a bottle and a half of port, and maybe two bottles of red table wine. . . all in all too much to allow me to continue to loose my 1.5-2 lbs per week . . . Its funny how you don't notice a glass adding up like that! |

Hi everyone! 175hereicome regarding your March 10th post . . .
P.S. does wine ever enter into your diet? I think that it may be affecting my progress too. I usually have three or four glasses a week, but that may be enought to hinder the burn Started 223 Jan 9th Last week 211.8, This weeek 212.4 (It's been a few weeks)

Hi I asked my trainer the same question, she told me that 15 minutes just really wasn't enough, and that 30 -40 minues of cardio was enough to mak an impact. Also the weigh training, she had me doing it for 30 minutes. |
