Have you guys decided on a date yet? or What time of year you wanna have it?

I really want a winter wedding. I always thought it would be really amazing to have my wedding on New Years Eve and at the Reception do the countdown and all that :) Also, it so much cheaper to get married then since it the "off wedding season"

I've had:

Breakfast : Coffee w/ 2 tbls of creamer, and 1 spenda. Then half of a bagle with lite cream cheese.

Lunch : Turkey sandwhich on wheat bread, with lettuce, tomato, onion, mozz cheese, and mustard, a diet coke.

Dinner :? I dunno yet

New thread- excellent.

Thanks Paige.

Any word on the possible marriage/move thing?

Yea, it looks like its not gonna happen anytime soon. Bryan withdrew his name, because he realized it just wasn't a good time right now. Which I'm relieved about, because I like my plan of a 1 year engagement a lot better than planning a wedding in 4 months :)

Sounds good! We want to keep it small as well, so i think 14 is a pretty good number to start with. From my expirience some tend to quit posting after a couple times.

Welcome to the group :)

Yes lets make a new thread! I'll do it right now!

Congrats on the one year aniversary, and also making it to your 1st goal weight :)
I think you'll be fine with your weigh in this week, just drink lots of water and maybe throw in an extra workout or something to balence the out the water weight you may gain.

I just got back from my going away lunch for work, and I definitely indulged, and threw calorie counting to the wind. We went to the Pyramid Brewery ( I don't know if its just a local beer or you can find it everywhere) and I had an amazing apricot wheat beer, part of an app, and also bacon cheese burger (I only ate half) but it was all worth it :) I start my new job on Monday, but I'm already having trouble figuring out my new schedule and getting workouts in it. I'm definitely in an adjusting period right now.

I called the Starbucks guy a liar this morning and he gave me free coffee.

So it has its benefits.

haha I'm gonna have to try that one sometime! 5 dollers every other day for my addiction to pumpkin spice lattes is getting a little expensive ;)

I think that we should create a new thread for this group and open it back up for some new members. I think it dying with just us three and we could pump some life back into it, and get it back on track if we opened it back up.

Just a thought.

Jimmy Baca.

I tried to do the highlighting of the word but it still wasn't going through. I think it may just be the address of the link.

For work, I'm not entirely sure. Spouses get first priority on base, so maybe a administrative assistant type job or something in the offices. It wouldn't be a huge deal if I didn't work, at least money wise, (although I may go crazy) since the military pay covers housing, food, and pays more for spouses.

School wise I'm most likely gonna have to put it back on hold, at least the Nursing Degree. I can take classes online, which I already do, so I could at least work towards an Associates.

Wow, that's pretty crazy! So your boyfriend proposed to you? Living in Hungary would be weird, but an adventure.

He hasn't proposed yet, its more of a mutual understanding that it will happen if he gets the position. If he doesn't get it Im pretty sure we go back to the original plan. I know Hungary will be a huge adventure, so I'm about 70 percent excited and hoping it will happen. Now that Bryan I have had more of a chance to talk about everything Im past the meltdown stage. It will be pretty amazing to be able to visit everywhere I've always wanted to go, like Amsterdam, Italy, Greece, ect. and I know Its pretty much a once in a lifetime thing.

Well, Bryan is in the airforce, and recently a job opened up in Hungary with NATO. Bryan fits all the qualifications for the job, and since he plans to be a lifer in the military, this job will help him to reach the higher ranks like senior chief or whatever, (I'm not entirely sure of how the ranks work yet.) So on Friday he nominated himself for the position, and we will find out by October 15th if he is picked to go.

Reason for Meltdown
We already talked about marriage, so that aspect of it isn't really a huge surprise, its mainly the moving to a foreign country and being married, all within the next 4 months. Everytime we had talked marriage before, it had a pretty mapped out time line, engaged in the next 6 months or so, and a year long engagement. I didn't want to be rushed in the planning process since you only get married once (hopefully) so I wanted it to be perfect. Now if he gets this job it going to ruin my plan, which I know isn't the biggest deal, but its going to add to my stress level tons and I'm going to have to settle more on the planning since its going to have to happen quickly. Then on top of that, I know my family is going to freak out (mainly my mom). She has known that me sticking around forever was never going to happen, since thats the life of the military,  but I know the quickness of everything is gonna cause her to have a melt down. She had been planning on the plan just as much as me, and I know Hungary isn't somewhere she will ever visit, so that will be 2-3 years of not seeing my family, if we go.

I'm here.
So, last Friday I had a major freakout, that included a small panic attack and a little bit of crying at work :( I found out on Friday that there is a possibilty of me being married and living in papa, Hungary by the 5th of January. Crazy huh?

Hey Ladies,

Sorry I've been MIA for the past week, I've been so busy lately. I weighed myself today, and I'm up 2 pounds :( but I'm not really surprised. I havent been counting really for the past two weeks, and I basically ate everything and anything I wanted this past week. I went to the airforce ball on Saturday and ate horrible buffet food, drank 4 crown and cokes, and 1 crown and sprite (they didn't have any diet soda), then the rest of the week, Bryan and I have eaten out way too much. I know a lot of my not taking the time to count is because I'm stressed out since I'm starting the new job on Oct. 6, and full time school on the 24th of this month. I can already tell I'm gonna be stretched pretty thin, and even though I know it will all be worth it in the end, I just havent had the energy to add worrying about my weight and counting calories to my stress level.

Jane: Mmmmh, chinese food! Don't worry too much about damaging your progress, one night isn't gonna ruin it :)

I personally loved the Twilight series! I read the first 3 books in a week because I couldn't put them down! If you go on barnesandnoble.com you can read the first chapter and reviews to see if its something you would be interested in. oh, and The host was also a really good book, and definitely something to check out if you like science fiction.

I don't really feel like its dying, it just us four now :)

I think Sarah is just busy now, she was saying before in an earlier post that her schedule was out of wack since she doesnt have to get up for that office job anymore, she's probably just enjoying sleeping in....

So YAY, I got the job!!!! I am so excited! Oh, and Thank you for your advice the other day Twila :)

Haha yea, my boyfriend wasn't too excited about The Melting Pot initially since its expensive, and you have to cook your own food, but he loved it! He's already talking about when were gonna go back, and was comtemplating buying a fondue set for our place, I've pretty much created a fondue monster :) LOL

October is really close! I hope he proposes this year, and doesn't have you anticipating it for a whole year :)

I'm waiting for Bryan to propose too. We were looking at rings last night online so he knows what style I want, now I just have to wait for the actual proposal :) It will probably be in 6 months or so, most likely after his deployment.

Oh, and I'm super nervous today, I have the second interview for the job I want, but I have no clue what to expect! The first interview lasted like 45 mins, and we talked about EVERYTHING! Past employment, skills, wage, hours, ect. but today at 6 I have a peer interview with everybody else in the office (which I've never done before) and then at 7 I have another interview with the boss. :/ What could they possibly ask me for an entire hour? and what else is there to talk to the boss about? Any ideas?

Hey everybody!

Sorry I was absent on friday, I've been super busy! I did weigh myself though, and I'm still 135, so no change. Oh well.

I wasn't too great at keeping up the healthy eating this weekend either. The boyfriend is finally home from his trip, so it was party and bbq on friday, The Melting Pot on saturday for our anniversary, and sunday mac and cheese along with lots of other stuff. Pretty horrible :( but I'm not really worried about it, I just plan on making up for it this week :)
