weigh in for 03/14/08 current weight : 209.8 Just figured out why I have not been shifting much weight this last week or so and its all down to muesli!!! I thought my breakfast was around 400 cals but just found out its 984!!! OMG what a mistake to make never mind binned it all now so can get back on track. |

Hello all and thank god there are a few more us on here. I've been on for a month and did begin to think I was the only one. I'm 5ft 3 210lbs or in our lovely English terms 15st im 28 and have one hell of a way to go. I've lost 7lbs so far but if I am really honest my calorie counting is poor to say the least. I have now joined a gym and have a regular programme 4 times a week. Its all cardio so far but I'm going by what the instructors there say as I am no expert and that is what they are paid for. . I'm with you flora_laura diet / lifestyle change same difference if you ask me, it all basically means watching what goes in that mouth of mine and trying to take the healthy choice rather than the bad one my husband wafts under my nose! Good luck to you all on this lifestyle quest lets hope we all stay on the wagon. |

Been on hols for a week so been really bad. Weigh in for 7th March 08 Current Weight : 210.2lbs Managed to do something to my foot not sure what but cannot walk properly on it, its a pain as I wanted to hit the gym as soon as I got back but looks like my body has other ideas! Never mind I will just have to swim it off for a while.

| yeah I guessed what I was eating would play a part, it used to be between 2000-3000 a day, now im on 1650 a day and have been for 2 weeks. Oh well I will plod on. | |||

| Ok so i'm only 5ft 3" and very overweight but you should try shopping around on the net. My calves are 17.5" so are way bigger than yours. I am in the UK but we have a shop here called Evans (for people size UK 14 + only) and they have some lovely knee high boots that come in different calf fittings, they go right up to 20". Not sure if they will ship to the US buts its worth a look around to see if you can find some. | |||

| thanks bodyscience and what a quick reply. I have been reading a few more logs on here and am defiantly going to add some weights to my routine. And if you say that week 3 -5 is when I might start seeing a difference then hopefully next week I will a happy bunny |

| Ok so I do not really have much experience at all but all I can say is that the gain is a good thing. Muscle mass weights more than fat so if you put on a bit it is probably that. I suggest measuring yourself now all over, arms. legs waist, hips arms. Even if the scales say your not losing, if you hitting the gym you should see the measurements go down, as you burn the fat and increase your muscles. As for the calorie intake you should up this for the days you do your workouts. If you log all your exercise onto here along with your food then it will tell you what the deficit is on you account page. You should have around 500 cal difference between the burn meter and the calorie intake meter. If you dont take on enough calories when you workout then it will have a negative effect and your body will cling to what it has like its being starved. I think what I am telling you is about right but any other comments if I'm wrong would be good. | |||

Weight for Feb 01 current weight : 210lbs Not impressed just found out my scales are broken. I was on them showing a 204.4lbs so was really happy then i leaned forward to look in the mirror and the weight changed, it went up. I have no idea how long they have been like that so unfortunately this should really be the first official weight. I got 3 different weights depending on now I stood on the damn things so have picked the biggest Oh well roll on next week. |

First week down on going the right way. Ok so I know this is the water that i'm getting rid of but at least the weight is going downwards. What a shame it wont keep on like this every week. Oh well ho hum i'm more than happy for it to drop to 1-2lbs per week if I can keep it off Weight in for 18th Jan 2008 Current weight : 197.89lbs
