Hi guys, hopefully I can still get in on this! a) Weight Goal: 165, lose 2 pound per week (11 weeks) to be 143 by June 2nd total of 22lbs lost. b) Daily Goals: Exercise at least three days a week thirty minutes each of step aerobics or walking; 1200 calories; drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day; take vitamins; and spend at least 5 minutes a day journalising my triumphs and achievements (even if it's only to write that I got my homework done, LOL.) About me I am a 30 year old single mom of two boys (8 & 6), full time accountant, and full time student (three nights a week). My plate is full but I am tired of lugging around weight that I can no longer claim as "baby weight." |

Alright weigh in Monday Jan. 28th 165. The wedding has been called off and since I was also dumped and found out he had been cheating with a friend of mine, I feel really proud that I didn't eat it all back on. But you know what, I am going to loose it all and then he will know he didn't break my heart! |

I love the biggest loser too! I work out during the commercial breaks, just bicept curls and such, but anything is better than nothing. My skinny friends have no clue what it feels like to be the bigger girl in the group. I joined about a week ago and already have lost 10 pounds just by changing my food choices a little and monitoring what and how much I put in my mouth. Now I have to increase the exercising to really make it all roll. If you ever need to unload give me a shout. Of course I want to hear the accomplishments too. Shadara |

Hi, I'm Shadara. A 30 year old single mom in Anchorage, AK . I would love to buddy up with you. Hopefully together we will not loose motivation. I am currently 170, I have lost 10 pounds since joining this site. I am aiming to get down to around 135. Hopefully I will get there. No dogs in my life like you, but I wish. I want a big dog. I also want to be renting a house or duplex when I get one. A yard would be great. Anyhoo, my main problem is lack of motivation to exercise. So together we can push eachother. Give me a shout. |

Hey, I know the feeling about the boyfriend. Luckily mine is still living in his own home. My boys are the worst they so support me, yet won't eat the healthy stuff I make, so I end up making two dinners. I am slowly transitioning them to my food though, they just don't realize it, LOL. I am here if you need support. The more support you have the easier it gets. Anytime you are down, give me shout. I would love to hear about your accomplishments and set backs. We all have em' so lets share and realize that we just have to get right back up on the horse when we fall off. Hope to hear from ya. Shadara |

Hey Kat, I too am new to this site. Not the dieting scene though. I have tried several fad diets and even weight watchers, but lack of money, I too am a single mom, keep me from being able to afford the gym membership or the weight watchers fees. I am hoping that I can do this on my own, with my sons help. I have two boys 8 and 6 and they are very supportive of me, including working out with me. Working out is the hardest part for me. I hate it. I am trying to loose about 45 pounds, so I would love to be a new friend to chat with when it gets rough or to support you when you suceed. Give me a shout. Shadara |
