Well, I haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks.. I've finally gotten around to it this morning!  And I'm down to 216!  Well past my 5 lbs that I had to lose for this challenge!

Hey, I'm 31 and started this website almost a month ago now.  I started at 232 and I am now down to 221.  I've been having a hard time this week due to the fact that I haven't gone grocery shopping!!  So, I haven't had any meals planned. Planning is key to success!  Oh and lots of water too :)

I am interested in getting an IUD as well!  I don't like the hormones from the pill or the ring.  I've been hearing a lot about mirena, but it still has hormones!  I'm planing on talking to my dr about it when I see her again in April!

Good luck with your choice!  And by the way, why is it that us women always have to deal with the bc? haha

Heck yeah, it's worth it!!!

I go to see a nutritionist - see my journal - and my insurance doesn't cover it! I pay out of my pocket for it, but I still go :)

I use Alli occasionally.  I have had no treatment effects.  You will be fine as long as you stay below the maximum amount of fat that you are allowed!

Yep, I have a jeep!  A 2006 Wrangler.  It is white with a golden eagle on the hood.  It looks just like Daisy Duke's (from the original TV show)!

Yes, 3 lbs is good!  Just keep doing what you're doing for a while.. if you start to plateau, then you might need to make some changes.  But for now, you're doing great!

I recently asked this question and this is what I decided on.

For every 10 lbs weight loss, I treat myself to something small, like a book or a couple downloads on itunes.

For larger amounts, like 50 lbs, something larger.. I'm still thinking on what this will be yet... maybe satellite radio installed in my jeep.

When I reach my ultimate goal (140 lbs)  I am going to take a trip to Europe.

I love animals too!  I have a dog, Spunky.  I got him from the pound 3 years ago when he was 5 years old.  I love him to death.  Before him, I didn't even care for dogs.  Now I don't know what I would do without him!!

I also have 4 cats: Peaches, Herb, Merlin, and Morris.

And 4 Bunnies: Sprinkles, Berry, Lily, and Ruby.

I love turtles too.  Ours passed away recently.  We would like to get another, but we're going to wait until we figure out if we're going to move or not.

I hear ya!  I went through a divorce, went on anti depressants (am now off) and gained 80 lbs!

I've just recently started too.  I've lost 8 lbs so far.  And I love this website, it's great.  Everyone is friendly!

I'm going to give myself small rewards for every 10 lbs.. like a new book, or some downloads on itunes.

For larger milestones (like getting under 200)  I will earn a bigger reward.. still thinking about what that will be though!
